You're paid to do a job. If you were a fire fighter, and you just decided you were afraid to go into a burning building to save people because you didn't want to risk your life even though that's what you signed up for and just watch people die. Then that is exactly the same thing that happened here. It's outrageous that they can get away with this. Every person who went to that school and did nothing needs to be held accountable. Those kids died because all the cops were too cowardly to go inside and engage in the shooter. This is ridiculous, any other country would put them in jail, in our country people just stay silent and try to forget about it.

The teacher and administration should too. They left the door unlocked and the mf just walked right in!!! State has protocol and procedure that they ignored and failed to do!! If the door was locked 100 percent of the kids would have survived. If the cops entered 1 minute after he entered there would still be dead kids. Administration is the first deadly mistake they need to be charged as well!!!

Classic case of re-direction. Your anger is understandable, but these kids died because a deranged gunman went into the classroom and shot them - not the police. In the end, the police actually ended the threat.

It’s a good start, but there are 400 more officers that should be arrested as well for standing by for 70 minutes while a massacre was taking place. Every officer who prevented parents from retrieving their kids should be arrested. Yet they will all cry officer safety and qualified immunity. This is the kind of tragedy that will keep happening as long as schools are gun free zones and easy targets for criminals. These teachers should have all been armed. It’s a lesson to parents that the government can’t and won’t protect children.

So, your "solution" is that the police do not let anybody in, but stand still inside mere feet from the scene for an hour and do nothing to stop this tragedy? So if we call things as they are, the police just turned into accomplices to the shooter. So, that's your proposal. Every one of them said they had proper training but yet none of them follow the training. The chief kept telling everyone to not go in there when they had over 30 people ready to go. They had kids all over in that school when they knew where the shooter was. And then when they found out there was victims and children calling them from inside the classroom. It still took him another 40 minutes for them to go in there. Never tried the door to see if it was locked when all the other doors were unlocked and yet they said they waited an hour to get a master key, when most likely the door was unlocked. Child endangerment? Wouldn’t that charge fit the teachers and administrators? they failed to secure the school and endangered all the kids! They did not follow state protocol or procedure and instead had the school wide open.
Where is the accountability for the school?

The state is to blame for getting rid of common sense gun restrictions. No background checks or anything that should help stop crazy people from getting guns.
