I love thee respect and admiration Eddie has for his father. And hearing Edward saying "well done my son" is what every son wants to hear from their fathers.
Its a pleasure to watch father and son talk about the auctions in Cuba they attended with Fidel, the Cigars Dad acquired from the Cohiba Factory and other dinners.
I really happy to have stumbled across Eddie and Edward on UA-cam. I couldn’t afford a box of cigars like that but I enjoy listening to them enjoy them.
I applaud Davidoff of London for their bold step into the independent realm of UA-cam, and I wish them the utmost success in their new venture. It is evident that Eddie, following in the footsteps of his father, is a remarkable success in his own right, and Edward should take great pride in his son's achievements.
Just smoked my first one from my box and it was amazing. First of all, opening that gorgeous box feels like opening a fancy present. And the cigars all look stunning. The open foot was pretty interesting, without the wrapper it was a bit peppery and woody, when the wrapper started burning, it became a lot more creamy. Stayed creamy all the way till the final third, where the stogie amped up in a strength I wasn’t expecting, with lots of spice and chocolate. The enjoyment time for me was almost 2 hours, and boy did I enjoy it! I paired it with a Macallan Estate, which was great till that final third. The cigar got a bit overpowering there, and I’m not sure yet what I’m going to pair it with the next time. Maybe a mild Islay scotch.
I visited the Davidoff shop back in 1999 as a fresh faced 23 year old cigar novice visiting from Australia. I believe I was served by Eddie himself who recommended two cigars, a Davidoff corona and a Montecristo tubo. Eddie was as a kind and knowledgeable gentleman back then as now. He is the genuine article, not just for showmanship. He made an impression on me that has set the standard for what it means by outstanding retail customer experience. Now having a UA-cam channel I can enjoy that pleasurable experience on demand!! well done!
Another fantastic video! I had the absolute pleasure of meeting both Edward and Eddie at Davidoff of London with my partner Sam this Saturday gone. Even though it was busy, they both took their time to talk to both Sam and I, and they both shared some stories with us. Eddie also took time out to show us around their beautiful walk in humidor, and also share some knowledge and advice. I purchased 2 off Davidoff The Late Hour Toro size cigars for after my Christmas Day and Boxing Day antics. I was not rushed or guided towards the door in any way. My cigars were packed so well and with care by Eddie while Edward continued to speak with Sam. And I did not realise till I got home that I also had a box of Davidoff cigar matches also. Both of these Gentleman speak so humbly and I never felt looked down or spoken down too, infact very much the opposite! Edward and Eddie, I just want to say thank you so much for your time on Saturday, and for your wisdom and the stories we were so lucky to hear first hand from both of you. I really hope that I get to share a cigar and a whisky with you both, and with Kirby at some point in my life. I hope to see you both when I return in the new year. Merry Christmas to you and the Families, have a great one. Brad (The Engineer) & Sam 🎅
what a fascinating beautiful duo between father & son, I'm watching it here smoking not a cigar but a Savinelli churchwarden 601 pipe, fantastic video, wishing you many, many years of happiness of your wonderful business
Your videos as always affect me in two ways; relaxed and missing my dad. Lovely you both can sit down and enjoy an hour together. May you enjoy many more to come 🙂
Very nice.; always enjoy your conversations. BTW, Davidoff matches seem to be readily available in the US - I am always given a small pack (about 1/2 the size of your Father's) when I buy a box of Davidoff cigars at my retailer.
It really is a treat watching Edward and Eddie speak so eloquently about cigars. If I may ask, could you tell me what the Davidoff equivalent of the Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Nicaragua cigar is? I find that cigar very exquisite and would like to try the Davidoff equivalent. I’ve never had a Davidoff and you’ve inspired me to get some.
Thank you for the feedback. I cannot give an informed opinion as we do not receive the Nicaraguan Montecristo here however Davidoff have the Nicaragua Discovery range that may be close. The box pressed Toro is my favourite.
60 years of aged tobaccos. I'm waiting to lite up one on New Years day. What's a few more days? Gentleman, A beautiful review of a wonderful cigar. Knowing that it will surpass all expectations, when I smoke one.
As a relatively new cigar smoker I am so thrilled to have found your channel. I must include a visit to your establishment on my bucket list. Thank you, gentlemen.
Lovely sit down with two gentlemen. Excellent presentation. With regard to the end tip of the Year of the Dragon cigar and its uncovered wrapper edge - what is the reasoning behind it. If it is a superb idea etc why is it not done more often ?
Thank you for the feedback. The reasoning behind the shaggy foot is to allow the taste of the cigar to be experienced without any wrapper initially. It just adds something to the tasting experience.
Hello Eddie, Edward. Greetings from Brownsville, Texas USA. It is a True delight to see your videos and listen to your conversations. Huge admiration between father and son enjoying one of the great pleasures of life. Thank you for your videos and content on them, I truly enjoy them. I wish you the best for the time to come, Merry Christmas 🎄
Great to see you both, and thank you for the video. Should there have been a follow-up video? The ending seemed to suggest that was the case. In event, I hope you both have a lovely and well-earned festive break.
even i dont really afford davaidoff cigars now, but everytime i watch the videos here, it fuels me with motivations and drives to work harder and get better life.
So beautiful, father and son with so much repect for each other. This is how life is meant to be. I enjoyed this video so very much and some day I will travel from the Netherlands to your store in London, together with one of our son's. Thank You, Gentlemen!
What a Treat! I REALLY enjoy these videos! I'm a Dragon, and hope to have the pleasure of smoking one of those Beautiful cigars on my birthday. Cheers to You Both.
I bought a box of these and 3 single sticks. Smoked one so far and it is my favorite one. The Year of the Tiger is a very close second IMO. Absolutely world class! Great smoke 💨
As a non smoker, I take a lot of pleasure watching your videos, sharing your passion for exquisite taste of cigar and liquor, but most of all your creation of a small paradise with much relaxation, compassion, bonding and enjoyment. Best of health to you.
What a pleasant watch on a cold rainy day here in Kentucky! I’ve always enjoyed the videos! I’ve wondered if smoking cigars harmful to your health 71 years old and don’t smoke however I do want to indulge! Need help!
Greetings from Barbados gentlemen. Always such a joy to see these two gentlemen in conversation. I’m taking a very quick across the pond tomorrow. With my very tight schedule I’m really hoping to make a visit to Davidoff of London. It would be such an honor to meet you gentlemen. It really would make my year. On a side note. Richard continues to produce amazing rums here in Barbados. He is absolutely passionate about the rum industry and continues to take it from strength to strength.
I was wondering if they taste test their cigars before putting out a new edition of cigars? I think that would make a wonderful video showing us how they go through that selection.
You know, that prelight draw that mr Sahakian senior is doing with cigars, we do that with pipe smoking too ! Maybe an épisode on pipes or pipe tobaccos could be done in the future ?
I know it’s a non trivial endeavor, but I would love to see more regular video production from this channel, particularly long form like this. I love enjoying a cigar with the Eddies and friends.
Approaching Christmas, this is my new favorite channel subscription that fills me with warmth, relaxation, & the Cigar lounge ambiance as if i was present in the room with these gentleman. Thanks, keep them coming.
I visited the store recently, and missed the Sahakians, but was fortunate to meet Max and Phillip, who are great hosts. I sat in the famous chair, and felt the vibes! I recommend you visit when in London.
Eddie, I am turning 60 in January the third, would you be so kind as to suggest which bottle of Ararat brandy to pair with a Cigar? It would also be quite an honor if you would suggest a beautiful Davidoff for this occasion. This is a uniquely special event due to the fact that my Father and younger brother both unfortunately died before they reached the age of 60, therefore I will be the first. I defer to you impeccable taste. With my sincerest thanks. Eric R. Steele
You gents went to Cuba recently. Saw it on Kirby’s channel… would love to see you do a trip to the Davidoff and Fuente farms in the Dominican. Especially since you are a Davidoff branded tobacconist. Would be a treat to see. 🙏🏽
Hello Eddie, The limited Edition from Davidoff Year of the Dragon 2024, I believe there is some missing information about the tobacco used as no clear mention of how old the tobacco used in this cigar is, as the description says it is a combined age of 60 years and 8 different Tobacco leaf used it can mean they are talking about all 8 Tobacco leaf are aged for 60 years or it may mean they aged the Tobacco for example 7 tobacco leafs are aged for 7 years (7×7 = 49) and one tobacco leaf is aged for 11 years so combining it makes 60 years in that way. Also disappointing that there is no description on the type of Tobacco used in the blend, just the country of origin. What are your thoughts on Cigar manufacturers who charge 50$+ and don't include details about the tobacco type used in the cigar? Regards
Thank you for the feedback. I had the same curiosity as you on the composition and age profiling but Davidoff will not disclose. If you find out please let me know.
Absolutely "top" Video indeed 1* star rating I either have a cigar with a single malt Whisky or Cognac but rụm is firmly on my list after Seeing this thanks to you both for what seems perfection between drink & cigar...
These gentlemen… are the example of what a true gentleman truly is… Godbless Edward… we all love you sir… Eddie…. Thanks for making me a cigar fanatic! I love yalls videos❤️
I love thee respect and admiration Eddie has for his father.

Its a pleasure to watch father and son talk about the auctions in Cuba they attended with Fidel, the Cigars Dad acquired from the Cohiba Factory and other dinners.
Edward and Eddie, as always wonderful conversation between two gentlemen, enjoying a fine cigar and one another company.
