As I was in London, I made a visit last Thursday evening based upon Kirby's advice from a previous video. Overall, it was an excellent experience. Enjoyed a superb Davidoff Winston Churchill The Late Hour followed by a Cohiba Siglo II along with a couple of gin and tonics. Both cigars were well maintained and properly conditioned. The staff did a fine job assisting in the selection and not being overly intrusive during my visit where I met several fellow afficianados with whom I had interesting chats. Well worth a visit if you are seeking a true gentleman''s experience. Tip to the wise...Dress properly with a jacket, tie and highly shined shoes and it will only enhance the pleasure.
Beautiful lounge and AJ is a wonderful host. Between No. 6 Cavendish, the Edward Sahakian lounge at the Bulgari and Sautters lounge on Raphael Street, cigar connoisseurs in London are spoiled for choice. Wish I lived closer so that I could go more often. Great video.
Does anyone else just not like the presentation of a cabinet? I really prefer a traditional cigar box shape. They just look better on my humidor shelf. Classier.
Great cigar selection, pretty lounge, delicious old fashioned, but staff was pretty bad tbh. Ajay and family weren't there, just David and another guy. I was looking for a rare cigar (that I spent 700 pounds on) and first thing David did was to ask me if I could afford it. LIke wtf? Maybe next time I need to wear a full tux to be treated properly. He became a lot nicer once he saw I knew what I was talking about, but that just screams fake. I paid for my stuff, left and came back after 10 mins. Another guy was there, I told him I wanted to smoke outside and he said sure but 35 pounds minmum/per person drinks. I explaned I was just here and paid 700 pounds and he said sorry takeways don't count. I said fine, and only ordered about 35 pounds of stuff total (instead of 70 since we were 2) that same guy finally said it's not the minimum amount but he'd let me off this one time. That's terrible customer service. Making me feel like they're doing me a favor. Honestly wouldn't smoke there again, much friendlier lounges in London with excellent selection such as the cigar room at the Connaught or in any 5 star hotel.
Had my first cigar ever in this lounge for my birthday, courtesy of a video Kirby did a while back of different lounges in London. Can confirm its the absolute BEST! And the chocolate old fashioned is probably the best drink I've ever had. Cheers for the recommendation and to Ajay for the hospitality! 🥃
A great video, and such charming hosts! I will most definitely be visiting this wonderful establishment when I'm next in town. Kindest regards. Philip.
Love visiting 6 Cavendish :) they have so gems in their humidor, and cocktails are second to none! Ajay is also a person to have endless conversations when you can get a hold of him :)
It's such a shame that the UK has these draconian smoking regulations. The reason he keeps calling it a 'sampling lounge' is because that's the only category of business that's allowed to have cigar smoking indoors.
In Australia theres only a handful of authorised lounges. We have labels that have the product name going across the cigar band...for no reason other than to satisfy some mindless bureaucrat. London might have similar ruinous taxes but at least you have 'sampling' lounges. The UK government wants the tax revenue.
Very well made and moothwatering video. Such a pitty politics has forbidden sampling rooms since quite some time. The Dutch, amongst other Europeans, are not allowed anymore to share the enjoyment of smoking a fine sigar, have nice drinks and conversations with friends in such a relaxing environment. Such a shame smoking like this is apparently seen as equal to smoking cirarettes, vapes or joints. Miss the old days.
Yeah, living somewhere where the government doesn’t take a minimum 10% of your income must really be terrible! It really doesn’t matter where Kirby lives as long as the UA-cam and affiliate marketing checks get sent to Texas. He probably saves an extra million a year at least, just because his registered address is in Texas. In reality, it pays for basically all the time he doesn’t live in Texas. When it doesn’t really matter where you live, it’s smart to move somewhere that’s income tax-free, especially when your income grows.
Just watched this great video Kirby, So glad you got to meet AJ a one off true gent and one of the best hosts Ive ever experienced. Been there 3 times now and its always Supurb. Wishing you all the best for Christmas Kirby Mark
Hello MR Kirby I hope you doing well sir , my question is how you know when you buy a Cuban cigar is real Cuban , thank you so much sir for you all knowledge and to teach others.
I've discovered this channel and I'm getting into Cigars, but I'm in Canada and a lot of Cigars are under Embargo and difficult to get here, how do you source rare or difficult to find cigars ?
I have been in America for two years now (from the UK). There isn't a class system in the USA, which has its perks but also cons. The con is that there isn't a natural touch of class in the USA, from what I've seen. Cigar lounges in America are generally for people watching sports, club music and no dress attire. Back home, that is forbidden.
Never a free bee, it’s about sharing…when Kirby does videos about the cigar Scene in London and he does a fabulous video at No6….we love to share cigars…works both ways.
I think Edward and Eddie are just very used to the camera, this is a true collector and a great guy who only allows customers a limited amount of some very special cigars, excellent policy and a great establishment.
I have known AJ, Bhavna, and Rekha for over 10 years now. I grew up and Miami and mainly knew new world cigars until I met AJ. He taught me the different Cuban profiles and brands and their peculiar intricacies. AJ has always shared. And that makes him special. I remember in 2018 when he had a dream of opening a luxury cigar lounge. And No6 is it. I had the pleasure of visiting this year for the first time and was enamored with the ambiance, the best rum selection in the world available for purchase, and the finest, vintage, cigars available for the public. It is pricey but it has has moderate items for you to enjoy! Can't wait to go back.
You need to experience a real aged cigar to understand what cigars are all about and then you realize your £2 is just a strong cigarette. Try a Romeo y Julieta number 2 tubed cigar and begin your journey in real smoking pleasure.
Kirby, to put it succinctly, YOU ROCK! Cheers, my brother!
My oldest cabinet is Montecristo Prominentes Edicion Limitada from 2001 but this stuff here what i see is just amazing...
Thanks Kirby for a view into vintage cigar heaven. #6 is a fantastic tasting room and Ajay is a knowledgeable host!

Great video.
Also the Connaught hotel !
James Fox?
@@sashidemedia A yes, the Connaught Hotel. I've heard great things about the Coburg. Another gem that we Scots don't get up here.
@@paulmcgee1867 I've heard much about JJ Fox nosedive heard their sampling room is a tad run down in comparison to many of the others mentioned.
A video with aj and the sahakians would be so interesting aswell as Kirby so much knowledge and passion for cigars
What an amazing place and beautiful bar..his collection is just money and excellence..👌🏾
I love the passion you and AJ have for the love of cigars. I hope to one day visit #6 Cavendish.
I love how I can always find a flor de las antillas box in these uk humidor videos
This guy has the biggest vintage collection as well.
What a pair and an outstanding shop
I’d love to stop in for a cigar and a drink…what a beautiful place!❤
My respect to the gentlemen🤝
I JUST had the pleasure of enjoying a 15 year aged Magnum 50. What a treat!
loved this episode and excited for more with kirby on this channel
Wow that looks like heaven
Nice suit 👌
Superb
Simply ❤
Cavendish Square is not in Mayfair
Wow 👌 A 1 Mr. Patel. I will be visiting No.6 next time I'm in London.
Beautiful looking lounge!

If the 🇺🇸 🇨🇺 trade embargo ended; how would this impact Cuban cigar supplies to the rest of the world?
I can live there
Sadly a simple man like me will never be able to experience this 😢
I like your name better for Parkers new wash plant 😆
It’s espresso not expresso!!!!!
Sorry 😢
That outfit deserves a better Panama hat
poseurs
Kirby isn't as enthusiastic as he is at Davidoff here..not much reaction when smelling the boxes and cigars..we know where his loyalties are!
Kinda feels like your cheating on Eddie...
Never cheating, no harm in looking 😂
Faux pais Kirby, should have shaken lady's hand before man
So sad to see less and less British in Londons venues.
Even sadder to see them successful and fully integrated.
You should ask AJ about his history. It is as British at it gets.
You are touching the cigars too much, Kirby....you should just smell them and let the tabaconist pick for you..

24:15 such a distinguished gentleman man, but than he goes ahead and says expresso instead of espresso.
AJ is so passionate about his cigars. I thank you Kirby. Will definitely stop by next time in London. Kindest regards, SF
Next time I'm in London this is a must go place. Elegance and sophistication at its highest.
Agreed! I am looking forward to visiting there myself. Best wishes.
Just be aware that our cigar prices are about 3 times higher than most of Europe.
Most of us buy a box when we're in Spain for holidays.
yeah you def. get a feel that they love the smell of their own farts type of elegance
Wow, Kirby’s got the best job in the world😶🌫😎

It's such a shame that the UK has these draconian smoking regulations. The reason he keeps calling it a 'sampling lounge' is because that's the only category of business that's allowed to have cigar smoking indoors.
Agree. In some German cities and throughout Switzerland they have proper lounges with full service bars.
Shhhhh! Don't say it to loud. It'll give the bureaucrats something else to ban or tax.
Come to Canada. We have one single smoking lounge west of Quebec and it's because it's on Indigenous territory. Absolutely ridiculous.
In Australia theres only a handful of authorised lounges. We have labels that have the product name going across the cigar band...for no reason other than to satisfy some mindless bureaucrat. London might have similar ruinous taxes but at least you have 'sampling' lounges. The UK government wants the tax revenue.
I loved everything about this video except I cringe whenever you lay bare fingers on those precious cigars.
Why would anyone be allowed to touch a cigar with their bare hands if not keeping/buying it for themselves?!
Nice advertising
Cheating on the Sahakian's. Yikes!
I wonder if they charge the prices back from 1995 or do their own calculation
Looks like they have a lot more exotic and interesting stock that Davidoff?
Isn’t it in Marylebone or are there two?
Fascinating subject, impeccably shot and presented. I have to see this place, thanks Kirby.
Why does he dress like he's from the 1920's
Grear video, but all about the new world cigars these days, cubans standards are absymal and communism shouldn't be supported

What’s with the hat man? Cosplaying 1900’s British gentlemen?
Cigar Season should be added to the Calendar, Kirby keep up the consistency of dialogue of the LEAF God bless
Top sampling lounge in london 🇬🇧 amazing collection of cigars and spirits, and a very high end service 💯💯
Thank you 😊
AJ is a legend in the cigar game, been watching and learning from him for years
Thanks for spoiling us with such great content; one after another!!
It’s in Marylebone not Mayfair !
Kirby! Why don't you just move to London/England? Living in Texas for you must be really not good!😂

Great video Kirby!! Thank you
Just but this on my bucket list 👍🏻
Amazing video. Thank you!
My definition of heaven. What a wonderful place.
Nice episode let’s have some more aj on the channel
AJ has turned into a cigar himself
Pity you forgot to mention the entrance fee , £35 + cigar + drink , not for your average cigar smoker , it is nice though.
I belive that the £35 is a minimum spend, not an entrance fee but feel free to correct me if I remember wrong.
Hello this is Ajay, the proprietor of No6 Cavendish, you are correct. The minimum spend is £35, not an entrance fee.
@@ajaypatel1655 i stand corrected! Thanks
And it is worth every penny! I will be back.

What was the price of the cigar smoked ?
Obviously intelligent and well spoken. You have done a wonderful job as father. You must proud. Thank you for the enlightening content.

Truly Heaven on Earth!! Now on my bucketlist to visit.
Kirby, you must love cigars! How could you skip the bar? 😂
Great show
I hope that Edward & Eddie know you’re patronising a rival cigar shop, Kirby! I do find your mannered & confected persona very funny.
Never a rival, we both are different

Excellent lounge. I’m surprised there are no lounges, that I know of, that are on this level in the DC area
