- Honda GL650 Build FIRST START!! SOUNDS AMAZING!! The GL650 lives after a full rewire you saw in the last few videos and oh man does it sound good! The bike fired up easily and has been running great so very soon you will see a first ride video so don't forget to subscribe and hit that notification bell so you don't miss it!
The exhaust consists of the stock headers which I made a crossover for running into a merge and then a Cone Engineering muffler.
Cone Engneering website: coneeng.com/
Muffler: PN = MC-1750-12-SS (Stainless 1.75" inlet 12" length)
Merge: PN = CL2-15175-3-MS (mild steel 1.5" inlet / 1.75" outlet)
You need 1.5" and 1.75" tubing for the rest along with springs and tabs

Is there any actual advantage to polish the jets? Sound is awesome
I polish the float needle seats, slides, and jet needles for smooth and consistent operation. Cant really polish the jets

What is the difference between the CX and the GL? I've got a CX650. Great job on the build 👍
Thanks James! For the differences the frames are 100% different among the cx/gl/cx650 line and then there are many differences beyond that. Check out motofaction.org for some great CX/GL info
