Man, I'm glad someone is talking about this shit. I gave up after the season they first added the rank up challenges/promos after solo grinding to the gold/diamond promo. Not just Apex though, I've just given up on multiplayer online gaming. It's just not worth the frustration anymore trying to keep up with wallers/botters/etc. This is supposed to be a way to relax after getting our asses kicked all day at work and instead we're just fodder for no-lifer streamers and cheaters. It's just not fun and fair competition anymore, it's a slog through shit.
I’m on console now having played only solos. I also have had a 22 kill game so far. I’m convinced upwards of 70% of console “good players” are all on zens or xim whatever it’s called. I can tell you how many people I’m forced to spectate for a brief time have zero recoil over and over and over again. AND I KNOW ITS POSSIBLE TO BE GREAT AT IT, but not perfect every clip. the amount of casual grinders that need to either get banned or go pro is astonishing.
It’s why I stopped playing 2 years ago brother. Apex doesn’t even ban Cronus users. They see it as fair game and either can’t detect it or don’t care. Diamond and master lobbies are unplayable if you don’t have one yourself on console. Only thing you can do is buy one yourself or just stop playing like I did for your own sanity 😂.

I have 14k hours in over multiple fps games. Quitting is the best decision I have made. I always seem to hit that level of gaming where the skill gap jumps from 0 to a 100.
Hi zeus. Thanks for shedding light on this issue as its a real eye opener, really. I last played apex a few days ago and it was the worst experience in any shooters I've played. My aim training feels like an absolute waste of time compared to other shooters that I i play...a sign to just never boot this up again.

Why would UA-cam do anything about it? Cheats may be unsavory, but they aren't necessarily illegal, so there's no good reason for UA-cam to disallow people to advertise them.

Chronus is a Problem on console. But it’s not that big. If someone is a rlly good player recoil don’t exist in this game ( look at Hal, Verlust ihr Genburten) and I played around 700 hours and have nearly no recoil even on r99.
Is Cronus cheating? Of course but you still have to have game sense for it to be really effective. You can shoot straight all you want but if you’re playing dumb then you’ll just end up in the rank you were before getting a Cronus, The real issues is 6-9 manning and aimbot and wall hacks in my opinion. But as long as video games exist there will be cheats, Most people we come across aren’t cheating, gaming in general has turned even the most casual gamer into nothing but an ego that can’t accept that there’s people out there better than them
Im slowly approaching this point and it saddens me. At 39, my FPS skills haven’t really fallen off yet (thankfully), and I’m able to play amongst Masters and Preds. But it FEELS terrible because a good deal of the people I’m losing to are cheating. There’s more cheating in 2024 than in the 2000’s during the onset of online gaming. It’s really disenchanting.

All you have to do is block the randoms that die off drop, it takes a while but after a few days eventually you will find legit team mates, it worked for me the other day I played for like 3 or 4 hours I had at least 3 games where I could pop off, one of them I even got paired with a masters duo.

I've always said since the early Apex seasons that all these people are watching these fake tournaments with fake preds. Glad Zeus is finally pointing it out. And it only keeps happening because EA is turning a blind eye to all the cheating going on with all these "pros" because it brings in the money.

PS5 players are the worst cheaters in apex. Just about all of them are running a xim, zen or strike pack. Then you have the blatant 6,9,even 12 manning. Also there are computer players that can spoof a console and have all the hacks computer players use but appear to be playing on console. I have personally seen the punch and fly all the way across the map , hard aimbot and wall hacks in console lobbies.

FPS in general, is infested with cheaters, reverse boosters, 2 boxing, etc. All thanks to the cheat engine owners making big bucks and ruining the gaming experience. I also blame the cheaters purchasing their cheats.

We’ve seen multiple instances of cheaters literally streaming and not being banned for a long while. There has to be some way to fix this from the devs
EA, Activision, Blizzard, Ubisoft,... all these giant game dev corp are now full of greedy goons sitting on top of the management ladder and they don't have a single clue of what gaming is about. All they care is money, quick and easy, not through bringing values to players but quick cash grab cosmetic bullshit. I'm not buy battlepass from this season onwards and also not touching the game for the next few seasons until they do something about the cheating in this game.

The main issue i have with this although good on paper is the risk of false bans legitimately will ruin your career completely and all games have slightly different anti cheats as well. I think the real solution is forcing publishers and studios to invest in their anti cheat departments and actually higher people to manually review and to also ban xims/zen players from console. A lot of these cheaters could be banned by a real time accuracy tracker. Wall hacks and soft aim would have to either be through detection or manual.
@@angpham941 I have never seen a cheater in LoL. I think they are so rare that it barely matters. Also the scripts/exploits in LoL will almost never be as powerful as aimbot or similar. So I think it's a bit over the top to do that.
This has been going on for about the last 15 seasons. No point in playing against majority of players having perks over you, defeats the object of playing.
I don't have brain damage so I don't cheat, but I genuinely can't even fathom what would be remotely fun about cheating, especially in a game like Apex. Now people on console, NEVER get banned. People can’t hack on console, but they do cheat using a zen. ALL the top Preds except for the top Preds I played cheat. They all zen. EA can get away with never banning them because the console players spend so much money, and can just cheat away with nothing to worry about because console doesn’t have any well known players or streamers to get everyone’s attention and make EA look bad. And since I’ve switched to PC, it’s insane how many people are cheating. I think a lot more people are cheating than we know!

I think that EA is in a bad spot with this issue. If they ban all the cheaters, they will propably lose 70% of their players and income coming from them. If they dont ban them, they will lose all of the legit players and content creators bringing in big money. So i think they just made a choice of raising their hands in the air and saying "well, lets see what happens"

EA are like, you don't give us money then we'll just give you shit team mates! I played a few hours in pubs last weekend and was dying to 3 stacks with 100k kills between them and my team mates were lvl 5's and 7's! After 100 games of trios and solos this season I have a kd of .3 lol. Meanwhile I bought 3 heirlooms back at Apex's height because I genuinely loved the game but then logged in one day and my like 300K+ Legend tokens were wiped to 0. Even after talking with like 6 different EA support Agents I got 0 help. I literally told them to just look at my account level and the weapon skins I have. It would be physically impossible for me to have less than like 200K tokens even I owned every single alt skin and legend but they still wouldn't help at all. Totally lost all motivation to play after that.

Apex is never going to get better on PC. People who think there's hope need to abandon it quickly. I swapped to console and while there are teamers, there aren't very many of them - even in Solos. I've had more fun playing on PS5 than all of my time on PC combined. PS5 and Series X have 120fps framerates and good visuals, too. Also, to all the regarded people out there: Unless your friends on PC join your lobby (or vice-versa) you won't encounter PC players.
I moved back recently to the PS5 with the 120hz. The game still looks and feels way better on my 4070ti but its been nice to get away from the wall hackers and MnK tap strafing. After a year on PC you definitely notice nothing is sus when you die on PS5 so I'm enjoying console again.

Any game that embeds aim assist in cross platform play does not care about the quality of competition but instead the bottom line. That mentality makes it clear why these cheaters are permitted to play
Think about this. EA has an employee "unkowingly leak" data, or open the code to a hacker. They develop the cheats, sell them. Gives EA a slice. EA lets them in the servers. They both profit.
EA/Respawn needs to do all of the following to minimize the cheating: 1. Phone number verification 2. Lvl 50 or 75 account requirement 3. (Potentially) $10-15 one-time paywall per account to play ranked. Maybe they could just make this requiring the Battle Pass to play ranked.
If a cheater is willing to pay for cheats, they will likely pay for ranked. And a paywall will stop legit players from playing ranked. They should just get vanguard (a super intrusive anti-cheat, that can see almost everything on your pc). I rather give them access to my pc that have to play with cheaters. Its the same one valorant uses and people say they meet a cheater only once in like 500 h.

When they only show the controller digitally, then there’s a reason to be suspicious. And also when they have a controller that is plugged in 100% of the time. There’s no reason to have it plugged in 100% of the time. They will tell you it so that way they don’t lose power. The response time is undetectable in the differences between wired and Bluetooth. No one would be able to play with a controller and tell you whether it’s plugged in or wireless in a test. So either there are people making money off of games are always losing their Bluetooth connections and need that little bit of millisecond increase and can’t afford a controller with a good battery… or Cronus zen is connected to the wire. *All they would have to do is show the same gameplay with a controller, not connected just one time.* Suffer one whole game having that terrible terrible lag of your controller, not being plugged in. Chronus is a Problem on console. But it’s not that big. If someone is a rlly good player recoil don’t exist in this game ( look at Hal, Verlust ihr Genburten) and I played around 700 hours and have nearly no recoil even on r99.
Is Cronus cheating? Of course but you still have to have game sense for it to be really effective. You can shoot straight all you want but if you’re playing dumb then you’ll just end up in the rank you were before getting a Cronus, The real issues is 6-9 manning and aimbot and wall hacks in my opinion. But as long as video games exist there will be cheats, Most people we come across aren’t cheating, gaming in general has turned even the most casual gamer into nothing but an ego that can’t accept that there’s people out there better than them

At 39, my FPS skills haven’t really fallen off yet (thankfully), and I’m able to play amongst Masters and Preds. But it FEELS terrible because a good deal of the people I’m losing to are cheating.
There’s more cheating in 2024 than in the 2000’s during the onset of online gaming. It’s really disenchanting.

Deleted apex. Terrible randoms that die on drop, cheaters plaguing the game and greed just ruined it for me.
All you have to do is block the randoms that die off drop, it takes a while but after a few days eventually you will find legit team mates, it worked for me the other day I played for like 3 or 4 hours I had at least 3 games where I could pop off, one of them I even got paired with a masters duo.

PS5 players are the worst cheaters in apex. Just about all of them are running a xim, zen or strike pack. Then you have the blatant 6,9,even 12 manning. Also there are computer players that can spoof a console and have all the hacks computer players use but appear to be playing on console. I have personally seen the punch and fly all the way across the map , hard aimbot and wall hacks in console lobbies.

The main issue i have with this although good on paper is the risk of false bans legitimately will ruin your career completely and all games have slightly different anti cheats as well. I think the real solution is forcing publishers and studios to invest in their anti cheat departments and actually higher people to manually review and to also ban xims/zen players from console. A lot of these cheaters could be banned by a real time accuracy tracker. Wall hacks and soft aim would have to either be through detection or manual.

@@angpham941 I have never seen a cheater in LoL. I think they are so rare that it barely matters. Also the scripts/exploits in LoL will almost never be as powerful as aimbot or similar. So I think it's a bit over the top to do that.

I am so glad you are talking about this! More people should be talking about this! It’s crazy how bad the cheating is. For example, I’m on PC now, and I came from console. Now people on console, NEVER get banned. People can’t hack on console, but they do cheat using a zen. ALL the top Preds except for the top Preds I played cheat. They all zen. EA can get away with never banning them because the console players spend so much money, and can just cheat away with nothing to worry about because console doesn’t have any well known players or streamers to get everyone’s attention and make EA look bad. And since I’ve switched to PC, it’s insane how many people are cheating. I think a lot more people are cheating than we know!

I think that EA is in a bad spot with this issue. If they ban all the cheaters, they will propably lose 70% of their players and income coming from them. If they dont ban them, they will lose all of the legit players and content creators bringing in big money. So i think they just made a choice of raising their hands in the air and saying "well, lets see what happens"

EA are like, you don't give us money then we'll just give you shit team mates! I played a few hours in pubs last weekend and was dying to 3 stacks with 100k kills between them and my team mates were lvl 5's and 7's! After 100 games of trios and solos this season I have a kd of .3 lol. Meanwhile I bought 3 heirlooms back at Apex's height because I genuinely loved the game but then logged in one day and my like 300K+ Legend tokens were wiped to 0. Even after talking with like 6 different EA support Agents I got 0 help. I literally told them to just look at my account level and the weapon skins I have. It would be physically impossible for me to have less than like 200K tokens even I owned every single alt skin and legend but they still wouldn't help at all.
Totally lost all motivation to play after that.

Apex is never going to get better on PC. People who think there's hope need to abandon it quickly. I swapped to console and while there are teamers, there aren't very many of them - even in Solos. I've had more fun playing on PS5 than all of my time on PC combined. PS5 and Series X have 120fps framerates and good visuals, too. Also, to all the regarded people out there: Unless your friends on PC join your lobby (or vice-versa) you won't encounter PC players.
I moved back recently to the PS5 with the 120hz. The game still looks and feels way better on my 4070ti but its been nice to get away from the wall hackers and MnK tap strafing. After a year on PC you definitely notice nothing is sus when you die on PS5 so I'm enjoying console again.

Cheating wasn't the reason I stopped playing, but it's definitely a big part of why I've never considered coming back.
Think about this. EA has an employee "unkowingly leak" data, or open the code to a hacker. They develop the cheats, sell them. Gives EA a slice. EA lets them in the servers. They both profit.

EA/Respawn needs to do all of the following to minimize the cheating:
1. Phone number verification
2. Lvl 50 or 75 account requirement
3. (Potentially) $10-15 one-time paywall per account to play ranked. Maybe they could just make this requiring the Battle Pass to play ranked.
If a cheater is willing to pay for cheats, they will likely pay for ranked. And a paywall will stop legit players from playing ranked. They should just get vanguard (a super intrusive anti-cheat, that can see almost everything on your pc). I rather give them access to my pc that have to play with cheaters. Its the same one valorant uses and people say they meet a cheater only once in like 500 h.

When they only show the controller digitally, then there’s a reason to be suspicious. And also when they have a controller that is plugged in 100% of the time. There’s no reason to have it plugged in 100% of the time. They will tell you it so that way they don’t lose power. The response time is undetectable in the differences between wired and Bluetooth. No one would be able to play with a controller and tell you whether it’s plugged in or wireless in a test. So either there are people making money off of games are always losing their Bluetooth connections and need that little bit of millisecond increase and can’t afford a controller with a good battery… or Cronus zen is connected to the wire. *All they would have to do is show the same gameplay with a controller, not connected just one time.* Suffer one whole game having that terrible terrible lag of your controller, not being plugged in. I won’t say WHO is guilty of this, but it’s many of the mainstays in Apex. Some hypocrites that you might be surprised about. Some of the beloved in the community. They absolutely never have their controller disconnected. Not a single video of your favorite UA-camr using a wireless controller. Could the response time really be that impossible, so that they gamers can’t compete like you and I on wireless controllers? Do it just one time for proof of skills?

you get lower latency with a wired which i used one when i played controller. Also you can use a cronus with bluetooth as well
