Thank you for the excellent review. My 2025 Equinox LT w option packages is solid with great safety features like rear automatic braking. I like being able to keep it in 2WD. However, I really have to dig on the internet for information on some of the buttons and features (previous car was a 2019 Buick Encore). Would really appreciate a short video on the climate control and window defogger functions. Chevrolet should do better for new buyers. Finally learned what the "Auto Hold" button is for. Thank you again.
Great Review! The only thing missing on this White LT is the panoramic glass roof. I prefer the Ice Silver exterior color and more interior color choices. It would be excellent vehicle if GM upgraded the power-plant to the 2.0 Turbo in the Cadillac XT4. No vehicle in the 21 Century should have manual driver and front passenger seats. I really like the fact you need to select AWD.
Good Evening Cory. I appreciate your thorough [and enthusiastic] review! I am very interested in your drive/ride impressions between the RS vs. ACTIV AWD models. Specifically, which feels nicer because of the suspension tuning and tire choices [for rougher city roads]. Thank you in advance for your thoughts. Kindly, Graham.
I like the changes in the new Equinox. But the styling of the Tuscon has more of a futuristic modern edge to it. The hidden rear wipers and the dash layout are more appealing to my eyes.
At least the Tucson has some more powerful models. I was able to get Equinox with 252 hp in 2019 and now you only get 175 max. What happened to the Equinox engine upgrade?
If I found out that the NEW car I just bought was used as a test drive vehicle for someone to make a video or just to test drive the car, I would either cancel the purchase or demand a refund of a few thousand dollars. That vehicle is now a used vehicle, and like they say, the minute you drive your new car off the lot, it loses value of a few thousand dollars.
🤔 You've never test-driven a car and not bought it before? I could understand being upset if I flogged this to test 0-60 times, but I drove this more sensibly than most test drivers would, and it is all documented on camera.
@GTGarageTalk I am not criticizing you, good sir. I appreciate that you mentioned you were being cautious out of respect for the future owner, which is probably rare these days. As evidence of my appreciation, I send you this awesome emoji... 👍 I just think that dealerships could have a vehicle that is relegated for test driving. When no longer needed, it could be sold at a discount to a willing buyer. I probably live in a fantasy world, though.
Sadly, you are correct; that is not how it works, especially when a vehicle is in demand like this one. These FLY off the lot, and keeping one around for test drive-only purposes is just not feasible. Thank you for watching. Most of my content is from dedicated press-fleet vehicle supply, but on hot-selling vehicles such as this, I borrow from local dealers and mind my Ps and Qs.
@GTGarageTalk Yes, I hear reviewers talk about fleet vehicles. Currently, I am watching reviews on the RAV4, Sportage, and the Equinox. I like the "off-roady" look ( man I hate that word), but occasionally, I will make use of that capability on light trails and snowy roads. So, I'm not a complete poser. I was leaning toward the RAV4 Adventure, but there are none in my area and Toyota just went and axed them for 2025.

Hopefully we will have one again soon to walk you through those.

I wish it had that 2.0L

Would be nice if they offer the 3.6 v6.
I believe that engine has been put out to pasture.
@@GTGarageTalk be better than the Engine they put in them
I hope there's an aftermarket overlay for the center console that covers up all that piano black plastic. C'mon Amazon and Temu.
Yes! Not a fan of shiny black plastic!
You will miss the AWD when the roads are wet. This vehicle is squirrelly in 2WD when it is raining.

👍🏼
To me, Equinox is more traditional SUV while the Tucson is more crossover/sedan and I see a lot of females driving it. Great warranty however.

Simplification on the manufacturing side.
Can you drive in 2WD also?
Yes. You have to push an AWD button.
The Equinox is wider, which is nice
👍🏼
Lot better than hiunday and Kia
Thanks for watching.

have you considered:

ua-cam.com/video/pT3xdtyZMq8/v-deo.html
It's look 80% similar to Indian tata safari
Just buy a lower trim blazer🤷
That’s certainly an option
A 2025 equinox isnt even better than a 2024 equinox😂
🤔
