- Little disclaimer as tier lists always get a lot of controversial takes! You will notice a lot of civs in S tier, this is because I think a lot of the civs have mechanics or builds in the game which are stronger than typical A tier civs/builds. And because they are all in S tier, with A tier civs being competitive as well, I think balance on the whole is very good at the moment.

I don't think you understand what the point of the s tier is....if half of the civs are there
Ports, Aztec, Inca, Lakota all need moving down to A tier. Haud, India, Japan, China go down to B tier. Malta, Russia, Italy should be down in C tier
give russia and dutch 50 more wood starting ressources to speed up their builds a little
Russia is f tier
S tiers civ, except Germany, should be nerfed to the ground, especially american nat and Hausa
malta should return some change like exp and shipment bonus, add some feature will be better, Dutch is kinda hard to balance... personally suggest give a 50 wood in begging res will be a good change and boost, swede can decrease the torp building time by 3 may balanced, russia need some machincal change cuz many people using the dog+FB rush so much hardly to make change need some adjustment
Mexico is s tier because i beat people who were 1900+elo using the broken central america rush and in teams u can go full falc and it's ggs
Every civilization fits inside 3 tiers. I think this just shows how balanced this game is
no way ports is better than inca and hausa
how way do you play US 1v1 in this days lion ?
Having tried Sweden a few times on the ladder (1200 elo) they feel awkward to me in the early stage of the game. One reason is because Torps are an integral part of your eco. From Age 2 up you have no more Settler shipments, you kinda get railroaded into Dominions, resource crates and then Blueberries/Engelsberg Ironworks. And unlike Banks, Manor Houses and Kancha Houses, Torps have to be put next to resources in order to be effective, which is both travel and build time for villagers.

I think it would be interesting to see a team game tier list. I know team games are not always commonly played at such a high level, but I think the team dynamic drastically changes the strength of a Civ.

I would like to see added options to China with some type of Church card ( like most other civs get )
By no means an expert with them, but I'm reasonably experienced with hausa and it feels pretty bad into most of the s tier civs if your opponent isn't a robot and can execute a few different builds for the situation. A tier feels more appropriate. USA seems to get the better of it. Spain awful as mentioned in video. Germany, Inca, China, and Aztec really don't feel good. If otto does early rush on hausa its very difficult to deal with as hausa is a little slower to II and otto is a bit faster to II. I remember watching julian absolutely smash hausa with azap and deli in an age 2 build. Would like to observe some more gameplay by the pros in these matchups to see if there's perhaps different approaches hausa should take. But i think it's more hausa looks absolutely broken into certain matchups, especially when there is livestock, but feel powerless into others.
