Darkseid is an evil god. As a god, he wants all sentient lifeforms in existence locked in a neverending state of worshipping, and being enslavement to the will of Darkseid. Darkseid is actually quite different from Thanos in that he doesn't want to just kill everything. Darkseid doesn't want you dead. Darkseid wants you enslaved to his eternal servitude.

Well we won't get anymore since they are rebooting it. I wish everyone would have supported the black adam film. We needed that for them to consider the snider verse. But sadly people didn't so now we don't know what we are going to get. I've never been a superman fan but the snyderverse superman was great. I would have loved to have seen this story continued. The crazy things is DC fans would support mcu movies but marvel fans wouldn't watch dc movies plus the media and critics tried hard to tank the dc universe. Watching this was a bitter pill to swallow. That this was the end. 😥

Hey Newfie, to answer some of your questions you asked in the vid: The Flash has accelerated healing from the Speed Force. Deathstroke is Slade Wilson and yes, Wade Wilson is a "copy" of that character. Very similar skills but much different execution. Deathstroke was meant to be the villian in the Ben Affleck solo Batman movie that was canceled. You didn't ask but a fun fact all the same, the actor playing Deathstroke (Joe Manganiello) also played Flash Thompson in Sam Raimi's Spiderman film. The ending of this movie is the start of Aquaman's solo film, so at least we got that continuation from this film, and that is where you will find out who that lady is. The Martian Manhunter is also known as J'onn J'onzz (like Jon Jones, the UFC figther lol). We won't be seeing anymore of this character but I was hyped to see him in this movie. Batman's tank at the end is an homage to the Dark Knight Returns comic & animated film. And finally, about future movies with Darkseid, we likely won't be getting more of this continuity as the Justice League trilogy that was planned was part of Zack Snyder's vision and DC are trying to write themselves out of this universe, which to me as a fan, is very unfortunate. You still have some movies in the DCU to watch and I am glad you have enjoyed the journey so far! Can't wait for you to see James Gunn's Suicide Squad!
Also in this icarnation of Martian Manhunter his name is Calvin Swanwick the General from Man of steel And BvS.Martian Manhunter can shapeshift control his mass and size and density but has trauma with fire as his weakness.

Its odd how a lot of ppl ask why he's wearing a black suit. I thought it was quite obvious, especially after he flies into space and we see him soaking in the sun.

Look, it may be that the function of this suit is for recovery, according to the comics (I don't know). However in the movie, there is nothing that permits to deduce that -in fact, in the theatrical cut he wears the classic blue & red suit at the end and that doesn't make any difference. Why he is wearing a black suit instead is not explained at all, as he seemed to regenerate just fine with the old suit. Unless there is something I missed in this cut, which I'd like to be pointed out.
@@theslay66 Remember the theater version was reshoot not the original and the black suit was discarded, you shouldn't even count it, the black suit is commun knowlege, him flying to space and soaking in the sun is the explination, not everything has to be explained in words, show don't tell, and it worked well

They used the box to recharge Sup's and the General Swanwick is actually Martian ManHunter, he can transform in to anyone, now that you know that remember he was in Man OF Steel way back and BvS, so hes been like a sleeper agent this entire time, just some more of Zack's brilliance at work!
There’s different versions and characterizations of The Flash so some are a little silly and some are more serious but both lighthearted overall. With this being Barry Allen, a younger of the character my strong assumption was the plan for him to grow into a closer version of the character in comics similar to what we had with Superman learning and growing to be that top of the DC Pyramid and the Leader we know today
Barry Allen, in these movies, comes across a lot more like Wally West. So I think this was Warner's attempt to sort of combine the two, without having to actually create Wally West in the first place.
It's a shame we might never get to continue this story, because of everything that's going on at DC right now. It's a shame, because it was supposed to get crazy. This is such a great movie, one of the better superhero movies released in years.
This is one of my all time favorite movies. Not just comicbook movies, but movies, period. If only this was presented to us on the big screen? The way Zack originally intended back in 2016, when this was announced as a 2 part film. Would have been amazing. Such a missed opportunity.
4:02 the personality of the flash in dc movies is rather based on Wally West, who was the kid flash, barry allen flash's sidekick, but when barry vanished in the crisis on infinite earths Wally became the flash for a very long time. But barry allen's personality always was like "vanilla ice cream" and "not that interesting" to some people, so a lot of people prefer Wally over Barry. 17:30 flash needs the suit only because any other outfit would disintegrate because of how fast he is moving.

I wish they make a movie about the backstory of that manipulative wicked granny goodness with Mr miracle where she used to torture Mr miracle as a kid. It was a cool episode in JL animated series.

Flash is able to use his body's kinetic energy and pull a certain type of molecules/atoms that exists inside the Speed Force to speed heal his injuries. He's able to isolate the specific areas of his body he's repairing. What he's doing is covering days and weeks' worth of healing to treat his wounds in the blink of an eye

Just got to say Jeremy Irons' Alfred is quite underrated. 43:55 watch "Batman: Under The Red Hood" for a fantastic story about how Robin died. Also no, in this Synderverse Joker killed Harley but Batman was there with her when she passed. 40:41 that is the Batmobile which is a pimped out full on tank from The Dark Knight comic series (animated 2 part movie is a decent adaption) 38:24 "the old ways" as in invade with his legions of Parademons, ships, tanks etc Will be interesting to see you react to the heavily cut down Theatrical version and compare it to this version :D
To me Jeromy Irons is the best Alfred to date. I thought the Alfred from the Tim Burton era was ok but on the old side, same with Chris Nolan’s Alfred which most like the best, but to me Jeremy Irons is perfectly cast here.

His "omega beams" that he shoots out of his eyes is his scariest ability, though. It's like a heat-seeking version of Superman's heat vision. Even if you dodge them the first time, they will generally turn around, and hunt you down until they actually connect. And those the beams connect with generally get destroyed on the spot, no matter how powerful they are.

When I first saw the scene with his Omega beams I nearly passed out. I wasn’t expecting them to put it in the movie so I was over the moon when I saw it. My family aren’t diehard DC fans so when they saw me freaking out over that scene they thought I had gone insane😂😂
15:02 not really, the theatrical version was none of this, basically Zack's daughter committed suicide while he was doing post production of the movie, so the studio told him he can go be with his family and grieve and they will finish the post production, but with the divisive reviews of BvS and them wanting to basically copy what marvel is doing, they instead brought in Joss Whedon ( director of the avengers ) and told him to reshoot almost everything, they removed so much, changed the story, the characters and even changed the soundtrack ( brought in danny eflman ) and put in the old superman/batman theme songs ( for nostalgia bait ) they brought back actors for reshoots ( Henry cavill was doing mission impossible and had a moustache that he couldnt shave ) so they CGI'd his face and turned him into a freak, Affleck came back overweight and not in movie shape so some scenes he was looking like usual and the next scene he looked chubby, they changed steppenwolf design and turned him into a 2000 PS2 monster and changed his entire story and purpose, there was no darkseid, not only that, a lot of actors complained about Joss Whedon's behaviour on set how badly he treated them ( especially gal gadot ), the reshooting experience was so bad that Affleck said that he doesn't want to be batman anymore and they gave his movie away to Reeves and Pattinson, there is so much more to it but it would take hours to explain the atrocities that happened, all because WB didn't believe in Zack's plan and basically wanted MCU 2.0 and they failed miserably
I find it so strange that Zach gets so much hate, yet everytime I watch a reaction video or talk to someone in person, they love Zachs DC stuff. There is a serious disconnect going on here.
Typically, these reactions work better when the reactor has at least a basic knowledge of DC characters. Not a deal breaker, but a little frustrating to see you so confused at times.
Also basically the story with Batman and Robin in the DCEU is that Batman adopted a teen manger named Richard "Dick" Grayson after his parents died in a trapeze accident (The family were circus performers) and eventually Dick found the batcave, so Batman trained him and Dick became his sidekick Robin (He got the name Robin because that was the nickname his parents gave him in the circus). After years of crime fighting together The Joker killed Robin, and Batman completely lost control and beat the joker almost to death, and punched out all his teeth (Which is why Joker has metal teeth) and then dropped him off at Arkham Asylum where Joker first meets Harley Quinn. Joker than got a "Damaged" tattoo on his forehead to remind Batman of the time he lost control and what he did to him. After the death of Robin Batman just starts killing people and going insane, to the point where even the police which he has worked with for years are afraid of him.
In the comics, Dick became Nightwing and was replaced as Robin by Jason Todd, who was killed by the Joker before being brought back to life by Ras Al Goul and became The Red Hood, while Tim Drake became the new Robin.

1 - Flash is not like that in comics. I mean, there are a lot of characters who take up the mantle of The Flash, but only one is more goofy and silly like that, and that is Wally West. This live action version is Barry Allen, and in the comics he doesn't have that goofy personality like in the movie. Actually, even is looks is different, in the comics he's blonde and a little more older looking. 2- The Justice League has some flying vehicles yes, some jets, but the most characteristic is the Watch Tower, which is like a space station that orbits around the planet.
The vision of the dead Wonderwm Woman is the ships computer warning of what will happen if they resurrect Superman. The "Future has taken root in the present" is the computer telling them the visions of the dark future will cone true. Unfortunately, we won't see those films. :-(

Hot take but you should watch the theatrical version for comparison. It doesn't even come close to this movie but I think it would be a fun and interesting reaction nonetheless :)
And the main reason I put this film over every other modern film based on superheroes is that, abobe everithing, this movie has his own undenialling identity, wile still being a product for the masses.
I remember ppl saying Zach Snyder should not have added the scene of the dirt rising off at the end of BvS cause it gave away that Superman would be back. I feel it had little to do with Superman coming back but it had to do with the anti-life equation and that its there at/under their farm where he was buried. And that's one of the main reason he goes bad in the future.

I truly wish Synder got to finish his grand storyline. As it stands Darkseid is on the way, but we'll never get the payoff because WB are morons. Too many "fans" want DC to be like the old Christopher Reeve flicks, but thats what WW84 was and it sucked. Zach makes the DC universe feel real and epic, and dark but unfortunately thats not everyones cup of tea....but I love it!
I have seen people understanding that scene of Batman with Harley Quinn dying as him killing her. But I understood that he was just with her when she died. But yeah, this was an amazing. And so cool to see your reactions at moments like when they planned on bringing Superman back, the Martin Manhunter moments, Superman fight with JL and Steppenwolf, the visions of the future and the Speed Force sequence. By the way, "Manhunter" means in this case "detective". In Spanish we do call him "Detective Marciano". And he is also super strong like Superman, a shape shifter, mind reader, empath abd can change his mass in order to go through things like walls. His weakness is fire. In these movies he has been the General Swanwick. And in the scene at the end, he wasn't supposed to appear but a couple of Green Lanterns. But WB didn't let Snyder to do that, so he change the characters to MM.

For more DCU information I would recommend watching the Justice League (and Justice League Unlimited) animated series. They're a great source of DC knowledge and entertainment, and have many of the heroes (including Martian Manhunter and Green Lantern) that you mentioned.
Sadly, now that James Gunn is CEO of DC, pretty much all things Snyderverse are now dead. After it being announced back in October that Henry Cavill was back as Superman, Gunn told Cavill today that this is no longer the case. Personally, I love the darker storytelling Snyder did. I fear Gunn is going to try to Marvelize the DC films and shows, which is a huge mistake. Who needs carbon copies when you have the originals?

Great reaction! The JL operate from their giant orbiting satellite the Watchtower. They have multiple ships for travel(earth/space), the main one being the javelin. Green lantern is part of the team. You’re correct that is deathstroke. He’s a master of all martial arts and weapons with crazy aim, master tactician and processes everything 9x faster than the average human. he has a super soldier serum in him as well. Considered to be the deadliest assassin for hire. Martian manhunter is nearly as strong as Superman and has the same powers. He is also one of the most powerful telepaths. He can shape shift and also go invisible/intangible as well. Wish we got that Batman vs deathstroke film. Anyways, looking forward to the next reaction!

To answer your question about Robin in this universe is, based on the director, is that after 'Robin' got trained up under Ben Affleck's Batman he took over the mantle then went after Joker. Joker then killed him and wrote "Joke's on you" on the suit in the BatmanVSuperman movie. And again now confirmed that he did indeed kill Robin who was then 'Batman'

Between JL and JL2 there was supposed to be a Batman movie directed by Ben Affleck himself featuring Deathstroke (as he was teased at the end of ZSJL) but Ben Affleck left the directors position and got replaced by Matt Reeves who did his own movie out of it - The Batman. In 2018 Jay Oliva - the storyboard artist for that movie said it was the best Batman script he has ever read and was sure that the fans would love it.

Flash has speed healing, and he is different from the t.v. version in the sense that he can't move people at high speed it would tear them apart something the t.v. version glosses over. Lois is the key because she dies in what was supposed to be future movies which basically turns superman bad. The old ways means traveling by ship instead of portals and this is a much better representation of how the joker should be vs. The suicide squad version.
Despite Ezra’s criminal behavior That “At the Speed of Force” scene still remains as one of the best scenes in any comic book films ever the music just adds so much more it rightfully deserved the first ever fan voted Oscar award last year. ZSJL is such a masterpiece CBM it’s just a shame WB fucked it all up and we’ll probably never get to see this universe properly get it’s conclusion it deserved

G'day it's Steven from Down Under A seriously cool movie that represents the director's vision, though it does feel a little crammed towards the end to enable it to fit so much in, to be honest it doesn't feel like a four hour movie to me which says a lot about the entertainment factor. Everyone's aware of the tragedy behind Mr Snyder's personal loss during the original production hence all the associated drama, though I must say that bringing in Joss Whedon was clearly an unexpected and disastrous move, it's almost like he sabotaged this project. Most of the casting is great just as is the character development, however, in my opinion, the actor portraying Lex is quite frankly "rubbish" and the actress playing Lois is "average" at best, however the rest of the cast is pretty darn good. Henry Cavill is quite frankly the best modernday Superman of our generation, Ben Affleck is ideal too and it'll be disappointing to see him be replaced by that Pattinson actor, Jason's pretty good too, and Gal is perfectly cast in such a strong female character, and of course Ezra is ideal in his role too. The nutter's out there hanging onto the "Snyderverse" have to let go and move on, DC is bigger than any one director, it's about the integrity of long established characters like Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. Snyder's legacy is clear and his themes should be carried on, we really need some consistency here, and even though I have zero confidence in Gunn's ability to resurrect the DC brand ( who the heck hired him?? ) on the big screen based on his nonesense Suicide Squad films we're forced to accept he's the captain of this ship and hopefully he won't sink it.

Wally West’s Flash (or Kid Flash in his earlier years) is much more comedic, but not to this level, I think. Recommend to watch Flashpoint Paradox from the DCAMU franchise for Barry Allen’s best portrayal imo. That whole franchise is great.
Not realy! Deadpool was popular, but got realy famous after the movie. Death Stroke is a very big character in DC, he is always in diferent HQs, animations, games and evem in live action serie. Been one of the biggest treats for characters like Batman, Green Arrow, the Teen Titans, etc. He is not obscure at all, only in the cinema realy.

Well in the parademon's case he just pushed it normally which means a whiplash for the parademon not a super strenght thing, like the relation between the distance and the required force to close that distance at the required time
I'll do my best to explain the Knightmare version scenes. If I remember correctly there were going to be 2 more Zack Snyder Justice League movies. The next one was going to focus on the Death of Lois Lane which cause Superman to go insane and join up with Darkseid. He blamed Batman for saving himself and letting Lois die. Superman goes crazy and kills all metahumans. The group at the end of this movie was essentially all the "super heroes" left. That's where the Flash comes in. He goes back in time to warn Bruce about Lois (part of which was shown in BvS. If you look closely you'll see Barry has facial hair and that armored suit on). Essentially the only way to avoid the Knightmare fate is for Bruce to sacrifice himself to Darkseid which causes the rest of the metahumans to galvanize against Darkseid and beat him in the 3rd movie. I think from what I had read somewhere years ago that Batman will die and the next Batman will be Supe's son. The part where Lois opens a drawer, there we also see a pregnancy test kit which shows that she was pregnant, if that was the case. In DCEU, Supe's son won't get any powers but will end up becoming the next Batman. Unfortunately, we will not see Zack's full vision.
When superman was grieving over lois dead body, darksied gets to control supes through antilife. And he starts killing other heroes. At last flash uses cosmic trademill to go back in time again to warn batman and batman sacrifice himself and save lois.
The fact that you’ve never heard of the Martian Manhunter is crazy. He’s probably the second strongest person in the Justice League and he usually runs the planning of it.
Force = Mass x Acceleration, the reason the flash can fling a guy across the room, he just moved him really fast. Same reason he moved Iris so slowly when he guided her down from the car crash, or why he doesn't carry any of the people out of the building during the Steppenwolf fight. I love this version of super speed! He has to be very careful what he does, but he has a lot of time to think about it.
First time watching I thought Flash just went into the speed force, but looking now I think he phased through the nuke blast. Also the old lady with darkseid is Granny Goodness. She is Darksieds master trainer for his female Fighters called the Furies

In case you're curious, the Anti Life Equation can be used to do almost anything you can imagine, but Darkseid's primary interest in using it is to control all free will throughout the multiverse. Darkseid is an evil god. As a god, he wants all sentient lifeforms in existence locked in a neverending state of worshipping, and being enslavement to the will of Darkseid.
Darkseid is actually quite different from Thanos in that he doesn't want to just kill everything. Darkseid doesn't want you dead. Darkseid wants you enslaved to his eternal servitude.

Well we won't get anymore since they are rebooting it. I wish everyone would have supported the black adam film. We needed that for them to consider the snider verse. But sadly people didn't so now we don't know what we are going to get. I've never been a superman fan but the snyderverse superman was great. I would have loved to have seen this story continued. The crazy things is DC fans would support mcu movies but marvel fans wouldn't watch dc movies plus the media and critics tried hard to tank the dc universe. Watching this was a bitter pill to swallow. That this was the end. 😥
The Flash running scene is honestly one of the greatest comic book movie scenes ever. The score is epic.

One of the Flash's move in the comics is also called Infinite Mass Punch where he goes as fast as the speed of light until he reaches the relativistic mass of a White Dwarf Star and unleashes the attack. (it's one of the most powerful punches in comics)
With a catch that he has to land that punch to release all that energy, if he misses he could die by exploding thats why he usually doesn’t use it.

The Martian Manhunter was a founding member of the Justice League. The rest of the on-screen team were also founding members, with the exception of Cyborg. Green Lantern took that spot in the original League from the comics.

The reason why Aquaman got the least developement is because his solo movie was going to be released after this and Zack said he wanted to let the aquaman director handle those parts

The Flash has accelerated healing from the Speed Force.
Deathstroke is Slade Wilson and yes, Wade Wilson is a "copy" of that character. Very similar skills but much different execution.
Deathstroke was meant to be the villian in the Ben Affleck solo Batman movie that was canceled.
You didn't ask but a fun fact all the same, the actor playing Deathstroke (Joe Manganiello) also played Flash Thompson in Sam Raimi's Spiderman film.
The ending of this movie is the start of Aquaman's solo film, so at least we got that continuation from this film, and that is where you will find out who that lady is.
The Martian Manhunter is also known as J'onn J'onzz (like Jon Jones, the UFC figther lol). We won't be seeing anymore of this character but I was hyped to see him in this movie.
Batman's tank at the end is an homage to the Dark Knight Returns comic & animated film.
And finally, about future movies with Darkseid, we likely won't be getting more of this continuity as the Justice League trilogy that was planned was part of Zack Snyder's vision and DC are trying to write themselves out of this universe, which to me as a fan, is very unfortunate.

Aside from looking cool, the black suit also functions as a recovery suit.
It's absorbs sunlights faster than his own body, helping him heal quicker.
Its odd how a lot of ppl ask why he's wearing a black suit. I thought it was quite obvious, especially after he flies into space and we see him soaking in the sun.
Well he was able to heal from a nuclear blast in a matter of minutes in his old red & blue suit. So this point seems pretty moot.

Look, it may be that the function of this suit is for recovery, according to the comics (I don't know).
However in the movie, there is nothing that permits to deduce that -in fact, in the theatrical cut he wears the classic blue & red suit at the end and that doesn't make any difference.
Why he is wearing a black suit instead is not explained at all, as he seemed to regenerate just fine with the old suit.

There’s different versions and characterizations of The Flash so some are a little silly and some are more serious but both lighthearted overall. With this being Barry Allen, a younger of the character my strong assumption was the plan for him to grow into a closer version of the character in comics similar to what we had with Superman learning and growing to be that top of the DC Pyramid and the Leader we know today
Barry Allen, in these movies, comes across a lot more like Wally West. So I think this was Warner's attempt to sort of combine the two, without having to actually create Wally West in the first place.
It's a shame we might never get to continue this story, because of everything that's going on at DC right now. It's a shame, because it was supposed to get crazy. This is such a great movie, one of the better superhero movies released in years.
This is one of my all time favorite movies. Not just comicbook movies, but movies, period. If only this was presented to us on the big screen? The way Zack originally intended back in 2016, when this was announced as a 2 part film. Would have been amazing. Such a missed opportunity.
4:02 the personality of the flash in dc movies is rather based on Wally West, who was the kid flash, barry allen flash's sidekick, but when barry vanished in the crisis on infinite earths Wally became the flash for a very long time. But barry allen's personality always was like "vanilla ice cream" and "not that interesting" to some people, so a lot of people prefer Wally over Barry.

Flash is able to use his body's kinetic energy and pull a certain type of molecules/atoms that exists inside the Speed Force to speed heal his injuries. He's able to isolate the specific areas of his body he's repairing. What he's doing is covering days and weeks' worth of healing to treat his wounds in the blink of an eye

To me Jeromy Irons is the best Alfred to date. I thought the Alfred from the Tim Burton era was ok but on the old side, same with Chris Nolan’s Alfred which most like the best, but to me Jeremy Irons is perfectly cast here.

His "omega beams" that he shoots out of his eyes is his scariest ability, though. It's like a heat-seeking version of Superman's heat vision. Even if you dodge them the first time, they will generally turn around, and hunt you down until they actually connect. And those the beams connect with generally get destroyed on the spot, no matter how powerful they are.

15:02 not really, the theatrical version was none of this, basically Zack's daughter committed suicide while he was doing post production of the movie, so the studio told him he can go be with his family and grieve and they will finish the post production, but with the divisive reviews of BvS and them wanting to basically copy what marvel is doing, they instead brought in Joss Whedon ( director of the avengers ) and told him to reshoot almost everything, they removed so much, changed the story, the characters and even changed the soundtrack ( brought in danny eflman ) and put in the old superman/batman theme songs ( for nostalgia bait ) they brought back actors for reshoots ( Henry cavill was doing mission impossible and had a moustache that he couldnt shave ) so they CGI'd his face and turned him into a freak, Affleck came back overweight and not in movie shape so some scenes he was looking like usual and the next scene he looked chubby, they changed steppenwolf design and turned him into a 2000 PS2 monster and changed his entire story and purpose, there was no darkseid, not only that, a lot of actors complained about Joss Whedon's behaviour on set how badly he treated them ( especially gal gadot ), the reshooting experience was so bad that Affleck said that he doesn't want to be batman anymore and they gave his movie away to Reeves and Pattinson, there is so much more to it but it would take hours to explain the atrocities that happened, all because WB didn't believe in Zack's plan and basically wanted MCU 2.0 and they failed miserably

Typically, these reactions work better when the reactor has at least a basic knowledge of DC characters. Not a deal breaker, but a little frustrating to see you so confused at times.
Also basically the story with Batman and Robin in the DCEU is that Batman adopted a teen manger named Richard "Dick" Grayson after his parents died in a trapeze accident (The family were circus performers) and eventually Dick found the batcave, so Batman trained him and Dick became his sidekick Robin (He got the name Robin because that was the nickname his parents gave him in the circus).
After years of crime fighting together The Joker killed Robin, and Batman completely lost control and beat the joker almost to death, and punched out all his teeth (Which is why Joker has metal teeth) and then dropped him off at Arkham Asylum where Joker first meets Harley Quinn. Joker than got a "Damaged" tattoo on his forehead to remind Batman of the time he lost control and what he did to him. After the death of Robin Batman just starts killing people and going insane, to the point where even the police which he has worked with for years are afraid of him.
In the comics, Dick became Nightwing and was replaced as Robin by Jason Todd, who was killed by the Joker before being brought back to life by Ras Al Goul and became The Red Hood, while Tim Drake became the new Robin.

1 - Flash is not like that in comics. I mean, there are a lot of characters who take up the mantle of The Flash, but only one is more goofy and silly like that, and that is Wally West. This live action version is Barry Allen, and in the comics he doesn't have that goofy personality like in the movie. Actually, even is looks is different, in the comics he's blonde and a little more older looking.
2- The Justice League has some flying vehicles yes, some jets, but the most characteristic is the Watch Tower, which is like a space station that orbits around the planet.

Aquaman's Trident uses the moisture in the air to create powerfull shockwaves.
The vision of the dead Wonderwm Woman is the ships computer warning of what will happen if they resurrect Superman. The "Future has taken root in the present" is the computer telling them the visions of the dark future will cone true. Unfortunately, we won't see those films. :-(

Hot take but you should watch the theatrical version for comparison. It doesn't even come close to this movie but I think it would be a fun and interesting reaction nonetheless :)
And the main reason I put this film over every other modern film based on superheroes is that, abobe everithing, this movie has his own undenialling identity, wile still being a product for the masses.
I remember ppl saying Zach Snyder should not have added the scene of the dirt rising off at the end of BvS cause it gave away that Superman would be back. I feel it had little to do with Superman coming back but it had to do with the anti-life equation and that its there at/under their farm where he was buried. And that's one of the main reason he goes bad in the future.

I truly wish Synder got to finish his grand storyline. As it stands Darkseid is on the way, but we'll never get the payoff because WB are morons. Too many "fans" want DC to be like the old Christopher Reeve flicks, but thats what WW84 was and it sucked. Zach makes the DC universe feel real and epic, and dark but unfortunately thats not everyones cup of tea....but I love it!
I have seen people understanding that scene of Batman with Harley Quinn dying as him killing her. But I understood that he was just with her when she died.

By the way, "Manhunter" means in this case "detective". In Spanish we do call him "Detective Marciano". And he is also super strong like Superman, a shape shifter, mind reader, empath abd can change his mass in order to go through things like walls. His weakness is fire. In these movies he has been the General Swanwick. And in the scene at the end, he wasn't supposed to appear but a couple of Green Lanterns. But WB didn't let Snyder to do that, so he change the characters to MM.

For more DCU information I would recommend watching the Justice League (and Justice League Unlimited) animated series. They're a great source of DC knowledge and entertainment, and have many of the heroes (including Martian Manhunter and Green Lantern) that you mentioned.
Sadly, now that James Gunn is CEO of DC, pretty much all things Snyderverse are now dead. After it being announced back in October that Henry Cavill was back as Superman, Gunn told Cavill today that this is no longer the case. Personally, I love the darker storytelling Snyder did. I fear Gunn is going to try to Marvelize the DC films and shows, which is a huge mistake. Who needs carbon copies when you have the originals?
Watching your reaction ignites my interest in the universe again. But hearing the bad news today? I'm just.... Watching Henry back on bigscreen as Superman. Watching him being enthusiastic and happy on interview asked about being back as Superman. All of this, only to watch him once again, might be no more, walk away from the cape. Absolutely heartbreaking.

Great reaction! The JL operate from their giant orbiting satellite the Watchtower. They have multiple ships for travel(earth/space), the main one being the javelin. Green lantern is part of the team. You’re correct that is deathstroke. He’s a master of all martial arts and weapons with crazy aim, master tactician and processes everything 9x faster than the average human. he has a super soldier serum in him as well. Considered to be the deadliest assassin for hire. Martian manhunter is nearly as strong as Superman and has the same powers. He is also one of the most powerful telepaths. He can shape shift and also go invisible/intangible as well. Wish we got that Batman vs deathstroke film. Anyways, looking forward to the next reaction!

The scroll was actually a Martian Manhunter a DC superhero and DC and Marvel had ripped off each other in comics.

To answer your question about Robin in this universe is, based on the director, is that after 'Robin' got trained up under Ben Affleck's Batman he took over the mantle then went after Joker. Joker then killed him and wrote "Joke's on you" on the suit in the BatmanVSuperman movie. And again now confirmed that he did indeed kill Robin who was then 'Batman'

Between JL and JL2 there was supposed to be a Batman movie directed by Ben Affleck himself featuring Deathstroke (as he was teased at the end of ZSJL) but Ben Affleck left the directors position and got replaced by Matt Reeves who did his own movie out of it - The Batman.
In 2018 Jay Oliva - the storyboard artist for that movie said it was the best Batman script he has ever read and was sure that the fans would love it.

Actually only parts of it were directed by Joss, which led to complete tonal whiplash throughout the movie, since their styles are so different.

Flash has speed healing, and he is different from the t.v. version in the sense that he can't move people at high speed it would tear them apart something the t.v. version glosses over. Lois is the key because she dies in what was supposed to be future movies which basically turns superman bad. The old ways means traveling by ship instead of portals and this is a much better representation of how the joker should be vs. The suicide squad version.

A seriously cool movie that represents the director's vision, though it does feel a little crammed towards the end to enable it to fit so much in, to be honest it doesn't feel like a four hour movie to me which says a lot about the entertainment factor.
Everyone's aware of the tragedy behind Mr Snyder's personal loss during the original production hence all the associated drama, though I must say that bringing in Joss Whedon was clearly an unexpected and disastrous move, it's almost like he sabotaged this project.
Most of the casting is great just as is the character development, however, in my opinion, the actor portraying Lex is quite frankly "rubbish" and the actress playing Lois is "average" at best, however the rest of the cast is pretty darn good.
Henry Cavill is quite frankly the best modernday Superman of our generation, Ben Affleck is ideal too and it'll be disappointing to see him be replaced by that Pattinson actor, Jason's pretty good too, and Gal is perfectly cast in such a strong female character, and of course Ezra is ideal in his role too.
The nutter's out there hanging onto the "Snyderverse" have to let go and move on, DC is bigger than any one director, it's about the integrity of long established characters like Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman.
Snyder's legacy is clear and his themes should be carried on, we really need some consistency here, and even though I have zero confidence in Gunn's ability to resurrect the DC brand ( who the heck hired him?? ) on the big screen based on his nonesense Suicide Squad films we're forced to accept he's the captain of this ship and hopefully he won't sink it.
4:04 no, he’s much more mature. Granted he is one of the more lighthearted characters of the team where he makes quips but he is very level-headed. Wally West’s Flash (or Kid Flash in his earlier years) is much more comedic, but not to this level, I think.
Recommend to watch Flashpoint Paradox from the DCAMU franchise for Barry Allen’s best portrayal imo. That whole franchise is great.
Not realy! Deadpool was popular, but got realy famous after the movie. Death Stroke is a very big character in DC, he is always in diferent HQs, animations, games and evem in live action serie. Been one of the biggest treats for characters like Batman, Green Arrow, the Teen Titans, etc. He is not obscure at all, only in the cinema realy.

2:54 you know how we first saw Flash he messed up things easily like his shoes, glass, and the street, plus the way he carefully and slowly moved the girl from the car accident? Well in the parademon's case he just pushed it normally which means a whiplash for the parademon not a super strenght thing, like the relation between the distance and the required force to close that distance at the required time

I'll do my best to explain the Knightmare version scenes. If I remember correctly there were going to be 2 more Zack Snyder Justice League movies. The next one was going to focus on the Death of Lois Lane which cause Superman to go insane and join up with Darkseid. He blamed Batman for saving himself and letting Lois die. Superman goes crazy and kills all metahumans. The group at the end of this movie was essentially all the "super heroes" left.
That's where the Flash comes in. He goes back in time to warn Bruce about Lois (part of which was shown in BvS. If you look closely you'll see Barry has facial hair and that armored suit on). Essentially the only way to avoid the Knightmare fate is for Bruce to sacrifice himself to Darkseid which causes the rest of the metahumans to galvanize against Darkseid and beat him in the 3rd movie. Unfortunately because of all the meddling that went on at warner bros. these next 2 movies aren't going to happen. Have a great day everyone.
I think from what I had read somewhere years ago that Batman will die and the next Batman will be Supe's son. The part where Lois opens a drawer, there we also see a pregnancy test kit which shows that she was pregnant, if that was the case. In DCEU, Supe's son won't get any powers but will end up becoming the next Batman. Unfortunately, we will not see Zack's full vision.
When superman was grieving over lois dead body, darksied gets to control supes through antilife. And he starts killing other heroes. At last flash uses cosmic trademill to go back in time again to warn batman and batman sacrifice himself and save lois.
The fact that you’ve never heard of the Martian Manhunter is crazy. He’s probably the second strongest person in the Justice League and he usually runs the planning of it.
Force = Mass x Acceleration, the reason the flash can fling a guy across the room, he just moved him really fast. Same reason he moved Iris so slowly when he guided her down from the car crash, or why he doesn't carry any of the people out of the building during the Steppenwolf fight. I love this version of super speed! He has to be very careful what he does, but he has a lot of time to think about it.
