Hi Gurs, I just discovered your videos and I've been binge watching everything. I feel like I've got a mini degree in dentistry now haha. Seriously, thank you so much not just for the information you are giving out but for the way you present yourself as someone who really cares and WANTS non-medical people to understand what is going on.

I literally wanted to say same thing, im goona have this treatment in turkey, im only 28 and because of some reasons ( not only hygiene) loost a lot of teeth, and these video's really help me to undesrtand many features of treatment.

@@drgurssehmi I echo Tesswood's sentiments. I'm 70yo in California, adjusting to my temporaries after the 4/1 jazz. (Because of ehlers-danlos syndrome, my teeth were loose & chipped so I went all in.)
After 6 weeks, I'm quite miserable, but your info is helping. My prosthodontist is not very communicative lol so I feel tense asking her questions. But for instance I learned from you a lisp at this stage is common, that was driving me crazy!
So is the numbness and pain in my lower lip and chin, hope that's also something I just have to wait out; maybe I'll find one of your videos will explain this issue :))

Always impressed with the level of detail you go into, the transparency of your process, and your genuine passion for what you do. All these things lead to us coming to you for my wife’s treatment - you really instil confidence ❤

Hi Dr Gurs, is it possible for you to do a video to explain the pros/cons of a single piece or 2 piece implant/abutment and which you prefer to use ? Thank you.

    Hello Dr Suhmi,
Why am I always under the impression that you promote All on 4 implants versus All on 6!?
I’ve personally chosen All on 6 procedure in Croatia as the final result looks so much more natural.
    Your answer would be appreciated.

I had 3 surgeries attempts for an autograft to take. I was told I did not have enough gum tissue after the third time. The stitches kept breaking. The fourth time I went in the stitches had broken and they just removed it. Does that mean there is no hope for me after this try?

Couple of questions? Does it help if the patient with missing teeth has a cast from when they were there so you can see what they looked like? Secondly whether to go for all on four or more implants to fill in gaps can you have three implants on every second tooth with a five tooth bridge please? Assuming bone adequate etc obviously.

I've got my All on 4 permanent teeth today, and the fake gum underneath is white colour, the top and the bottom. It's that normal? Why they didn't paint it in gum colour? Maybe is better to refuse them?

could we see a video about fighters who got zicronium crowns for 24 teeth and if they can still continue with the sport ? I was told it's not possible as the teeth are smaller below the crowns and will break easily now also the pain during biting remains so it does feel like it's all over now .

Hi Gurs, thx for the great video. I'm a 49 yr old woman, because of depression i hadn't taken good care of my teeth and thats wht i have very bad quality maybe infected gums that bleed. I wonder if I have possibility to have implants? I'm planning for that but not sure.

When middle age and older people get dental implants , I don't understand why they choose to have them so white and too straight... When I see that, to my eyes it's a dead give away that they are not your natural teeth. Too perfect teeth is too fake.. What's your thoughts Dr?

    • @drgurssehmi
      @drgurssehmi  9 місяців тому +2

Yes, the look of the smile is important, and it always looks better if they smile is age appropriate. The problem is that you only ever notice if this isn't done, you don't notice the good ones. But then, when someone is spending a lot on their smile, they often want it to look "perfect" and their interpretation of perfect may be different to what others may expect.

Yes, I have the same experience in my practice. And not only with implants but also with the conventional dentures! It usually takes some effort to convince the patient that the natural look is much better.

Sorry, this is the kind of thing you learn from mentoring one on one with a local surgeon, then going on lots of individual courses to refine your principles

Is it possible to have regulare removable dentures anymore? Because that is much better for the health and much safer to.
