Just want to say thanks for the head start with this! Had been to the garage and they’d quoted £600 for parts and labour! I bought a motor of eBay for £30 and boom! Done in less than an hour.
Mate! You are an absolute life saver, my fan went last week had no heating, the weather froze today so could not go to work so I boufgt a replacement fan. I. Dismantled the glove box only to find the fan was on the drivers side. If it wasn't for your video I would of been screwed. You were right that's top nut on the clutch pedel was a ball ache. Once again THANK YOU!!!
Thanks for the info, I had to get up to the motor and check the motor I had, only because some of the pictures of the motors I viewed had different connectors, eventually found one on Amazon it fits a number of vehicles, Dacia, Renaults and of course Toyota’s I’m attempting the fittment tomorrow 👍
I didn’t remove anything, I’m not sure if I’m maybe missing a bit of trim from the drivers side though. Have you got a bit of trim by the pedal covering the fan?

Thanks mate, that’s the very reason I made the video. Super common problem with a fairly easy fix. Saves you handing the £££ to the mechanics as well!
Great. Ideo. You make it look so easy.

Any advice for accessing that top nut? I just can’t get to it!
Perseverance! I think I just had to feel up with my middle finger, hold the spanner/socket with my thumb and index and pop it on blind
Thank you. And thank you so much for this video!! Absolute life saver!
Thanks for the video! What replacement motor did you use?

@@BitsNBob Yes, there's trim all along, and can't see the top of the clutch pedal to get to the bolts, or the fan motor.
