For all those contemplating (or have already done) a CS TCU upgrade for your 360 to improve shift speeds you REALLY need to upgrade to CS Engine ecu firmware too as the 1999 firmware isn't very compatible and actually causes premature clutch wear on early cars. Better to get both tcu and engine ecus done if you want CS performance too. Get in touch with Aldous or Eddie @avengineering in Kent, 🇬🇧 and they can help you. They can even do Challenge Stradale Firmware on a gated car.
Agreed guys, this is one of the best upgrades you will do on a standard 360. If you enjoyed this video watch this space, I will be filming Trev's 360 absolute insane lightweight build as soon as possible.
Hi Scott, enjoyed hearing about this - thanks for putting the time in. It's great to hear from someone having put the time and money in themselves, to achieve their dream car. I'd love to see a video of you running through all the cars you've had (exotic or not!) with photos of them, when/why you bought, what happened to them and why and also... Hello sir Thank you for all of your great videos you’ve done a very professional job. I have restored a Ferrari 360 that had the interior burned out due to the battery blowing up and catching everything on fire. I had to chisel everything out got parts on eBay from all over the world including wiring harness is. Then I had to figure out how to repair the body work and paint it. Local guys wanted $6000 to paint it. So I had to learn how to paint. That came courtesy of other generous contributors to UA-cam. It’s not perfect but from five or 10 feet away it looks good. I also have a 348TS that I have done an engine out service on. And just finished fixing a 2010 California that I bought at auction. Watching your videos helps me keep enthused about working on the cars. I have purchased the computer system you use from the link you provided in an earlier video it seems to do the job. It would be helpful to understand better how to use it. If you have time maybe you could devote a video to using that computer on Ferraris and others. The manual you use in your videos looks a different from the download I was able to buy on eBay. If you have anything better please post it on your next video Car guys find staying at home working on our cars not that big of a hardship. Most of my friends call me a workaholic hermit. But I do love the cars. Stay safe have a good day Texas Bob
Watching you and Sam work on your Ferrari’s, rebuilding them and beating the common myths that go with the cars has got me hopeful that once I buy a house I can do the same, Thank you!

Hi Bob, wow great job you have there !!! Well my 355 is very clean, ill be doing a detail on that in the next week or two. The 360 needs a lot of work now and the plan is a full paint job on it and fixing up much of the stuff, which I really will enjoy the before and after results on. 308 is in that state from purchase and the paint is gone so again that also needs a repaint which is painted as part pf this Euro conversion phase 2

Hi, how do you see Ferrari prices going with the current situation? I'm looking at purchasing a 360 Modena, I've been watching for a while and glad I didn't dip in now. I'm just wondering how low they will go when the financial squeeze really hits home.
I used to do insurance work for greypaul Ferrari Nottingham back in the day when this came out , fitting stripes and clearcoating them was a common acurance. Always used to shit myself fitting them, as was reminded how expensive they were. For me it's a proper grab it by the balls car that still looks super cool today, and that sound , ye baby...
what would u say your 360 is worth today also doing the change over is it considered on paper as a 360 or the stradale ? also is it now the only stradale with the highest millage ?
“Ratarossa” Have you ever or would you ever consider doing a full restoration and respray on this Ferrari 360 Stradale to bring your daily driver back upto Pristine condition once again.
I have to wonder how close to the cost of a real 360 CS would you be if put the car back as close standard as possible then sold both car and CS bits (obviously keeping any of the double bits you have as spares).
I've done some research. Turns out the maximum legal speed in the UK is the same for both the 360 AND the 360 Stradale. Shocker!!!! Who'd have thought it? How much for a Ferrari factory fitted upgrade for the maximum legal speed limit in the UK? Is that even available? If so what's the price? Till then I'm sticking with my old 328 :) Thanks for the film!
I hope you get your own dealership, that be nice. I just watched you rad Wood 2019 and you guys actually sat in my delorean how cool. The car is a working progress and with today's tech I call it the 'WiFi variation of the original' Anyway keep up the god work🎶
So you started with an ordinary 360, made it less comfortable and then martyred yourself driving it daily on awful UK roads? This is the level of automotive masochism I aspire to :D Hero lol Have a 360 on my wish list and was getting close before this whole outbreak thing. Any 360 I end up with will be closer to Samcrac’s than yours but I can live with that :P
They are superb cars, really useable and very enjoyable to drive .... you might even pick up one slightly cheaper after we get on the other side of this.
Ratarossa that’s the plan. My OH isn’t happy about it but I don’t think I’ll ever be able to get one out of my system. Time will tell I suppose. When all this is over, do come up to North Wales in one of the Ferrari’s and enjoy our amazing roads and scenery 😁
So let me ask you since you've changed everything over does it make a difference in price is it considered as a real stradale or does it go for the same price as the 360 with a few upgrades now? And don't think I'm trying to put it down I'm just saying it's a beautiful car I'm envious of it I just need to know in the end is it worth it to do this or not? definitely enjoyed the video so thank you for that.
Thanks for sharing and what an experience it must have been doing that. But please, WASH THE CAR AND COVER IT!!!! Should we start a crowd fund and get you some covers??
All depends if he leaves the Cosworth 204 BHP, he would have to have it 'Breathed on' a tad, stand more of a chance with the RS Focus & with that less chance of collecting the scenery.
I love the channel and I love the car, but if you take a 360 Modena and then take all the parts from a challenge stradale and put them on the Modena it doesn’t mean you have a CS it means you have a modified Modena all be it a very good one.

Have you ever or would you ever consider doing a full restoration and respray on this Ferrari 360 Stradale to bring your daily driver back upto Pristine condition once again.
Daily driven for 10 years? thats worth it right there.. great looking car love the sound!!
With whats happening at the moment probably worth about 15 toilet rolls ?
Aha!! 15 cases maybe!!
Have you told the story back then on ferrarichat forum? Because I remind myailef readig there such a change. Or it was the manual gearbox CS?
I did post some of the details a few times about this build
I have to wonder how close to the cost of a real 360 CS would you be if put the car back as close standard as possible then sold both car and CS bits (obviously keeping any of the double bits you have as spares).
Where did you buy the shades Scott?
I've done some research. Turns out the maximum legal speed in the UK is the same for both the 360 AND the 360 Stradale. Shocker!!!! Who'd have thought it?
How much for a Ferrari factory fitted upgrade for the maximum legal speed limit in the UK? Is that even available? If so what's the price?
Till then I'm sticking with my old 328 :)
Thanks for the film!
Sounds like you should ditch the 308 and get into something more your speed. VW Up, perhaps?🙄
Nice very nice.
Saw you at good wood as miami vice with ferrari.
Cheers ... that was me !
I hope you get your own dealership, that be nice.
I just watched you rad Wood 2019 and you guys actually sat in my delorean how cool. The car is a working progress and with today's tech I call it the 'WiFi variation of the original'
Anyway keep up the god work🎶
So you started with an ordinary 360,
made it less comfortable and then martyred yourself driving it daily on awful UK roads?
This is the level of automotive masochism I aspire to :D Hero lol
Have a 360 on my wish list and was getting close before this whole outbreak thing.
Fantastic car but does it say Stradale on the log book? 👍
no but if it did it would be a garage queen and not get the same enjoyment i have had from it in the past 10 years
@@Ratarossa
Building it is part of the fun what ever it costs. (Thats what i keep telling myself and the missus haha) .
Just dont sell it 👍
5&half grand flr a wing mirror madness
Tell me about it
There's no way I'd ever risk losing a Ferrari over a Sierra Cosworth. It's far from a crap car, but it ain't no prancing horse!
Thanks for sharing and what an experience it must have been doing that. But please, WASH THE CAR AND COVER IT!!!! Should we start a crowd fund and get you some covers??
I can't wait to see mods you're going to do on Sam's 360.
All depends if he leaves the Cosworth 204 BHP, he would have to have it 'Breathed on' a tad, stand more of a chance with the RS Focus & with that less chance of collecting the scenery.
Safe to say say STG Sam is watching this
I love the channel and I love the car, but if you take a 360 Modena and then take all the parts from a challenge stradale and put them on the Modena it doesn’t mean you have a CS it means you have a modified Modena all be it a very good one.
agreed thats very true.
