Thanks Chris!
Guys excellent finds
Thanks so much Dwight!
Congrats on the Kusel Hardware find. I happen to know this token for I live about 30 miles from Watertown, WI. Fred Kusel immigrated to Watertown from Germany in early 1860s (do not remember exactly). His son served in the Wisconsin volunteer infantry for 1 year from 1863-1864. My guess on this one is that he is the one who lost it and likely had it on him as a remembrance of home. He and his brother ended up taking over the hardware store. Fred's house still stands in Watertown and is a National Historic Building. Very very very very jealous, but also extremely happy you found it.
Wow thanks for that info! I got the 1849 date from the Kusel business website. You're right though it must have been dropped by him or someone close to him. I don't see why else it would have gotten all the way out here. Definitely one of my favorite finds of all time.
Wow! That is some awesome info! Thanks for sharing
I have one of these that says 2.50 on the bottom. Found in northern IL. Doyou have any info on What this can be?
Subbed to Uncle Bobs . The Oregon Trail was a very cool series to watch. Best of luck on the next hunt.
Glad you enjoyed and thanks for subbing Bob as well!!

Thanks so much! I actually just looked it up and found out it’s a semi key date. Worth maybe around $700 in that condition
@@GreatOutdoorsDetecting Wow that's awesome.

Wow great bunch of finds. Love those tokens as there are so many varieties. I've yet to find one but have been on two hunts where the person with me has found one lol. Thanks for sharing, good luck, happy hunting and take care.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed and take care as well
Nice
Thanks!
doin good
I found something similar to your Token. It says 2.50 with the same crested eagle on the front. The opposite side is trashed and not able to make it out. Any ideas What it could be? I can send pics if you would like.
I thought it was a gold coin at first. Cool find though.
Anyone have any info on these tokens? I have identical but it says 2.50 on bottom?
What are your settings for the nox 600?
Park 1, 5 tone, multi frequency
@@GreatOutdoorsDetecting cool. I run field 1, 50 tones, 4 recovery speed, iron bias 0, sensitivity 25, 5 kHz
Do you ever hunt in Oklahoma?
And God said let there be tokens and the tokens were spread over the Earth to be found
Haha! Don’t remember seeing that last time I read Genesis!
What kind of metal detector do you use
We were both using the Minelab Equinox 600
Excellent video. But can’t do something about the wind noise? You can barely understand conversation between two people.
Thanks. Yeah sorry I’m looking into getting a wind resistant mic
Nice overall video, but way too many ads, Zach. I understand you make money from them, but please insert fewer instances of them so as not to disrupt the viewing experience.
Thanks for letting me know. I didn’t realize there were that many ads in there. UA-cam will automatically put them in without me choosing where until I edit it
@@GreatOutdoorsDetecting Strange, I didn't see not one ad! Hhhhmmm....
10th view.
