I work in funeral service in North Carolina and the viewing of the remains differs regionally within the state. In the western and central part of NC, viewing usually takes place while coming into the church or chapel, in the eastern/northeastern region, viewing takes place many times at the end at the front. In the southeastern region (where I am located), we usually view in the same way seen in this video.
Wow Great Voice to the camara man. Very said about the death but with the singing and the church family their to support the family it will all get better.
I WITNESSED THIS TYPE OF SERVICE THREE YEARS AGO AT MY AUNTS HOMEGOING SERVICE IN BAXLEY GA IT WAS FUNNY CAUSE WE WAS SITTING UP THERE LOOKING CRAZY WHEN THEY STARTED ROLLING THE CASKET OUT AND WE HAD`NT SEEN THE BODY COMING FROM FLORIDA ITS NOT DON LIKE THAT ITS EITHER AT THE BEGINNING OR THE END BUT AT THE FRONT OF THE CHURCH
@hammondman94 down here in parts of the south thats how we do it. I am originally from coastal SC and thats how we did it at home. But strangely I live on the other side of SC now and they do it the other way
