Looks like the father of modern AI is back in action. All LLM are based on the transformer architecture which is a creation of Google. After Google introduced Knowledge Graph Facebook, LinkedIn, Airbnb, Microsoft, Amazon, Uber, eBay started using it.
Even if we talk about the success of LLM, a bigger success of the decade got unnoticed by many, which is Alphafold, another creation from Deepmind of Google. Deepmind is deeply involved in working with healthcare providers to make some real change apart from commercial usage.

Here's what the insurance companies will use AI for: To avoid paying out anything for anyone .. their agenda is clear, to never have to pay out a dime. How I know? - I was hit by a stroke, and suddenly all my expensive insurances was worth zero. I was an assembly coder since the late 70s, I know everything from static to neural etc. It's not exclusively good thing that will happen.
It's my belief that insurance companies should be nonprofits, making a business about minimizing payment when people need help the most is unethical.
Anything government backed, especially government forced, is a scam. Praise Jesus, King of Kings, the only legal authority on Earth.
Ask AI to deny this mans claim.

Great presentation but what they presented here doesn’t change that over arching thesis. Google’s superpower and differentiation is they have their own compute infrastructure in TPU allowing them to manage costs decoupled from Nvidia while competitors are only now starting investment in their own silicon, but they still have to deliver on all of these promises this while avoiding cannibalising their core Ad business. When you have as much market share as Google, they need lose only a fraction of that share for the market cap will crumble. These features, tools and embedded Ai enabled functions are excellent but ultimately all that matters is integration while simultaneously maintaining the cash cow.
100% agree, but I do think they're using these same AI capabilities and hardware infrastructure for their ad business today AND whatever they're building to cannibalize it in the future. Google is probably the best example of the modern-day innovator's dilemma

The best demonstration of AI being deployed to boost an existing offering is Meta and their ability to circumnavigate Apples rules, whereas all Google can do with improved targeting/arpu is maintain share given they own one platform in Android and have a strategic relationship with Apple for the remaining mobile install base. I think the reality for Google is to plant as many seeds as possible even if they make mistakes. The potential Apple collaboration with Gemini is interesting but even this remains confusing given Apples ‘security’ principles and Google’s need to capture that Gemini usage data to really get value from it. Maybe they make Android so powerful with Gemini they recapture market share or raise costs but does that even move the needle? as you say, it’s a perfect innovators dilemma setup that is showing no signs of changing, yet
I was thinking about this last night. Not only Google have their own competitive chips that they are using themselves, the chips are cheaper to buy and cheaper to run and can be fine tuned but they also rent out the same hardware when not needed which further reduces the cost. AND.
they will buy as much Nvidia hardware as Nvidia will sell to them because of two reasons. They are amassing enormous commute and second reason is that they starve other companies and therefore maintain their enormous lead.
Google will do for AI what amazon did with the online cloud AWS.
To focus on AI on all stack 10 years ago has made them a leading horse in being a big player.

The products were launching now, were of building our world to a bit more stronger level. If we see from past, the technology we are having were of a bit not utilizing the speed of electricity at extent. To support the speed there is a need of supportive material too. If we are talking about processing world, all constitute of very or delicate technology comparitive to electric value. With the gradual advancement happening through research where different elements of computer got supporting more advanced attributes in form of view, rendering from different parts of same and sitting entirely place were at optimized phase. The advantages of technology and solutions we saw and want to understand them throughly to make the possible of users to see no lag world for any type of query they are looking for, it is of computer world to identify and work on technology meeting solutions for the syncing with all sector and divisions of same sector companies to align world in same level.

@@dgaz3057 thats a very simple and reductioinist way to look at it. I happen to be in the tech world and I happen to have worked in multiple countries, including India and the way it works is that everyone works for what their market rate is, and this is usually set on a country and region level, some countries like India certainly are extremely competitive and the work culture in general is pretty brutal, so people really have to be good to make it, this drives the cost of labor down, there is also of course an abusive element on the companies side and the tech industry has used (and abused) this for years in the same way other companies have used Chinese labor but if an Indian person works to another country, they get paid the market rate from those places, I work in Netherlands, and Indians, Mexicans, Dutch, German, Brazilian, we all get paid based on market rates and bands, not on nationality.
