I stumbled upon this today - the day Richard Lewis died. It is so sad - he was such a character. Will be missed.
Dude, I love Jeff. It's clear that he loves Curb and his cast mates
He got the bad end of the stick in the whole Goldberg debacle
Dude
One of the funniest people of all time.
crazy that curbs dialogue is all improvised. Jeff and Larry have a crazy, natural chemistry.
As a Shia Muslim from Iraq who loves and adores my Iranian brothers and sisters, the whole fatwa saga was belly achingly funny. Larry David is a comedic maestro. No one comes even close
The Palestinian chicken one was also great
What if he made fun of prophet Mohammed?
Much love bud. Doesn’t matter our creed, life experience, etc…farce is farce: more importantly; satire is satire! All the best to you and yours 👍🏼
My family loves the show. (From Baghdad)
😅😊@@bajskuk8
Larry's annoyance at this whole thing is pure joy. This man is the cynic's cynic. I love him dearly
Well he's Bernie's cousin so it runs in the family :)
I love how authentically happy and excited Jeff is in this. You don't see many grown men who are this open with their positive emotions
yeah but he has bipolar disorder, so those highs come with lows
Explains a lot. He dominates this discussion to an inappropriate extent. @@GHOSTbirdnatureLOVER
he is a delight!
I don't love much in this life but Seinfeld and CYE are some of the greatest joys of my life. Thank you, Larry David for having existed!
Pathetic.
He's honest to a fault and a comic genius. "Curb" curiously fills a void left when "Seinfeld" went off. This 90 minute special was a real gift. And thanks to Brian Williams who is clearly an adoring fan/scholar of comedy. How will we ever forget Jeff, Cheryl, Susie and Larry on this brilliant panel about one of the greatest shows of all time?
I never knew Jeff was so hilarious.
You sound high af. I dig it
Seinfeld is trash compared to CYE
once in a while i stumble into gems on youtube...this has certainly been a good watch
This show is definitely one of the greatest sitcoms of all time...Larry David is my favorite characater of all time...Brilliance at it's finest...!!!!
After I discovered Curb Your Enthusiasm, I wondered what Larry David was like in real life. I just found this interview and it gives me an idea. I love the show. My son and I watch it together and we laugh so hard. It appeals to a certain kind of audience. My younger son doesn't get it but my daughter loves it.
This was so fun to watch. I love the cast's chemistry and Larry seems like a genuinely good friend. Was pleasantly surprised at how funny and witty Brian was. He really held his own amidst comedic geniuses
@ufoguyspaceman Those last three sentences were somethin
I started watching Curb Your Enthusiasm during the pandemic when isolating. Usually watch 2 to 4 episodes in one sitting. At season 8 now. Can't believe I didn't watch it when I had a TV, but I did watch Seinfeld. Always hilarious!
I'm telling you, those blow jobs are dangerous.
Me too… can’t wait til October for season 11
It's the funniest. wittiest sitcom I've ever seen. By far. And I enjoy rewatching the episodes, they are that entertaining.
@@fatboy7161 whaaAaaat ? There's a new season coming out ? Yessssss lol somehow I hadn't heard this until I read your comment and I'm a huge curb and larry david fan
@@0oidiedinatimemachineo024 yes supposed to air on HBO in October
Curb and Seinfeld are the only shows which actually make me laugh out loud. Seinfeld is STILL relevant 30 years later, and Curb will be 30 years from now. The world need MORE laughter.
Me too
Totally agree with you! I must say that I absolutely loved Taxi and Frasier and partially Cheers for instance, but even those shows did not make me laugh out loud as strongly and as often as Curb and Seinfeld. Because of those 2 shows, I have to say that I am very picky when it comes to sitcoms.
@@marc-andremarcil3823 I laugh just thinking about the dinner scene of The Survivor episode.
so true.
Newsradio was superior
I really love all of them! Larry has really helped thru tough times👌
Enjoyed this panel and Curb is my favourite show. Will miss Bob Einstein AKA Marty Funkhouser. Such a huge part of the show. RIP.
Funkman died last year, this is from 2011
HAL 9000 Thanks for that. Feel stupid now. Better delete the comment. Still RIP Funkman!
@@scoizzwald1346 I hope they dedicate the new season premiere on sunday to him. He was a great guy.
HAL 9000 Yeah he was, interested to see how they write him out.
I’m actually shocked no one mentioned him in this panel. That character is one of the funniest to me. I was so broken hearted to learn of his death. I’m not sure while they were filming this season they knew how sick he was? They keep him in the storyline, which makes me think they thought he would recover? What a great loss 💔
My favourite ever comedy series. And we've had some great ones ourselves in the UK. Larry David is pure genius!
which ones do you suggest to watch? i enjoyed Peep Show and Life’s too Short... pretty, pretty good.
@@KundoKun Extras, Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant
@@KundoKun Try ‘Yes, Minister’ and its spin-off ’Yes, Prime Minister’.

The Inbetweeners. Avoid Mrs Brown’s Boys
9:37..Larry couldn't remember the details, but it was a great Seinfeld episode. The one he's referring to is where George hates seeing the store security guard standing all day so he brings him a chair. The security guard ends up falling asleep and the store gets robbed.
not to undermine Larry and Seinfeld's brilliant ideas and writing - and their final say, alot of shows were written by other staff in a talent writing TEAM
It was Kramer
Thanks

Whenever Jeff laughs spontaneously he's like a little kid - so gleeful.
He’s higher than a kite!
A little school girl
He adds nothing to the show.
ANd the audience laughs louder whenever he laughs

Curb Your Enthusiasm is the most AUTHENTIC & FUNNY SHOW EVER!!! Love Larry, Susie, and every character.
This interview is absolutely underrated with no script and hilariously genuine as well. So much fun. Best interview so far.! 💛👏
Best show ever!! Larry is a genius! I mean he’s pretty pretty pretty good!!
its not. buyt pretty good. specially later seasons. much shorther and better structure
Pret- ty, pret-ty, pret-ty, good...
I came across this today and it was so enjoyable! Curb is one of my favorite shows of all time. About once a year I go back to episode 1, season 1 and rewatch the entire series. Perfect casting! Leon , J.B. Smoove is my favorite character!
I met JB after a stand up gig. He signed a photo for me that said 'get in that ass, Larry!'
Super nice guy.
I do the same, there’s so much you miss the first time!
Omg I LOVE leon!!
The LAUGHTER starts with the opening music! TRUE GENIUS!
Curb and Seinfeld I will watch these shows for life
When Jeff talks, I laugh.
every time he jumps in and steals the show it seems somewhat out of place because he's so much louder and excited than the others, but I love it! haha
It was kinda necessary, the interviewer only speaks to Larry the entire interview, pretty unpolite actually. If they just want Larry, just ask Larry.
He’s annoying in this.
I love that some people have the gift of making others laugh so much! Thank you!

What about old simpsons epiosdes, or Monty Python?
@@stuartmarentette4208 Python maybe. But Curb is guaranteed.

Totally agree.
I love how much Jeff loves Larry
Paycheck, maybe?
Honestly I wish he would shut up. Sorry. It’s too much.
9 Years ago, they all aged very well. LD is one of if not the funniest writer on current TV, IMHO.
Great show. Thanks you. Brian Williams, great questions, Jeff Garlin, such a wonderful personality and Larry David is just genius,
Lots of love from an Indian. I have watched all your episodes and enjoyed every single moment..
Oh dear lord...Jeff's laugh... Infectious!
😂😂
This must have been one of Brian Williams' most enjoyable projects.
jeff has one of the funniest laughs of all time
It was brave of Jeff to go into comedy with a laugh like that. Lots of people would have taken the easy way out and settled on something like air traffic control or accounting.
Him, larry and gervais
I laughed at his laugh more than anything else on the show and it was a funny show!
and a great voice he cracks me up
The bit about Brian Williams giving just the facts is truly hilarious now.
He's such a a douche
I forgot how funny Brian Williams is. He dug his own grave, I never heard a good explanation for it.
He holds his own comedically with THIS PANEL!?! I never knew he was this funny.
@@TruthInMotionStudios Yup, then as a very popular anchorman, he began to embellish, then out-and-out lie about his experiences. But he was in big demand, showing up everywhere before he messed up. He was doing so well, I never understood why he would do such self-sabotage.
First time I've noticed that Jeff Garlin and Pennn from Penn and Teller have the exact same voice - mind blown
Woah!! Good call. This comment is going to be in my mind for life!! I love curb and I like Goldbergs too and I will NEVER hear Jeffs voice and not think of Penn again.
I wish he were more like Teller.
That Larry David story he tells in the beginning, about yelling at his boss and quitting, then regretting it and pretending it didn't happen, and his boss didn't either. Happened to me,...one day after years of taking shit from my boss, I had it up to my eyebrows, and I screamed at him and quit in the middle of my shift. I left before lunch time and didn't return for 2 days. On the 3rd day I went back to my job and went back to my position as if I hadn't called my boss an asshole, and walked out. My boss never said anything and he and I continued to work together for another 15 years. When I retired I asked my boss about it. He said "he thought I just went on my lunch break early". ( Obviously he was lying) I guess he liked my work and me, enough to let the whole incident slide. (Or maybe he knew he was acting like an asshole), and accepted that I finally got mad enough to tell him off. Who knows?
Thats honestly beutiful id love to see something like that in real life. Bosses need to be told off. Ppl shuldnt be embaressed or afraid to yell at their boss if their assholes
This was great. The most enjoyable stop-and-chat.
I laughed almost non-stop throughout. Thank you!
That was great thank you!! I feel like Larry was in a reverse intervention! Brian asking him questions and then Susie, Jeff and Cheryl saying "No hes great!!" So good cheers from Aus.
I agree with so many others,Curb and Seinfeld are the only shows that make me laugh out loud.Thank you Larry David and company.
Same here....The Sopranos makes me laugh too
I agree 100%. The cast on both shows are excellent. I will say keeping Leon on was good. He just adds so much to the show. How can I not mention Funkhouser. May he rest in peace.
Proper deep belly laughs for me with these 2 shows
That sounds sad, I love this show and it makes me laugh but if it was the only thing I think I’d seek help. Not an insult as I believe you using hyperbole, never the less my point is true for me.
Curb Your Enthisiasm, I like..... I know the show Sienfled is very popular but I really cant stand the character and think it is really not funny at all....
Just watched this for 5 minutes before work, could not stop watching, watched the whole thing. Why a pure joy to watch. Brian Williams is surprisingly funny.
I think Larry David's the only celebrity having a blast during this lockdown
i think the oposit. he is extra irritated
This was around 2011
ALot of people wrote books, scripts, wrote songs and did recording.
I love Curb. They have so much fun working together and it shows!! 👏👏
By far, the funniest show ever on television
Perfect distraction, thank you!
Brian Williams has undeniable comedy talent. His appearances on 30 Rock were brilliant and he did a heck of a job in this, he even did a comedy monologue at the very beginning and the jokes landed.
Look up all of his SNL episodes, they are fucking hilarious and he steals every single show. It sucks that he did such a shitty thing.
he is so unfunny
The jokes did land and it was an emergency landing.
Brian Williams is the biggest fake of this century. Do a little research.
what a wonderful gift they’ve shared with us…we’ll have it forever…how many hours of joy…
Curb is easily the funniest and most authentic show on TV. Like Larry said, the only show where characters legitimately laugh at each other and interact like actual humans. Surprised more folks haven't copied this formula.
We think you are absolutely right.
I think it isnt an easy formula to create/maintain...unless you're quick witted like they are!
It takes a LOT OF SKILL.
Brian needs to guest star on Curb. He would kill it.
He's an ass.
Watching the show I was way more concerned about what Larry did here or what is the cliffhanger of the episode, yet it's so genuine and funny. It's exceptional work, and I'm proud to let more people know about this gem.
Larry seems like such a genuine, kind soul. He's a rarity!
He's kind of a dick in real life according to my uncle. But in a funny way. He's been his lawyer for 2 decades.
I couldn't imagine anyone thinking Larry David is a narcissist. He clearly cares about people, he's just cynical, blunt and idiosyncratic.
this is another Curb episode!!! Love it
"They have your organic eggs..." I'm dead i love this☠🤣
I really enjoyed this interview. Love this show!!!!
What makes Larry so funny is that he doesn't really realize a lot of the stuff he does is bizarre... and he says what he thinks no matter what.
I think his self-aware
That’s why in one of the episodes on tap water, the hostess says “You have no filter Larry”….and Larry responds brilliantly with “For me that’s good, but for water that’s bad” 😂
Absolutely Love love Larry David and his brilliant and honest sense of humor!
Brian Williams doing a “standup” monologue was surprisingly satisfying
@Robert Hunt ugh will you just shut up man. That’s SO fking stale
@ufoguyspaceman he was like that on the daily show. Check out his bits there. Priceless
Such a fake. He is a disappointment on many levels.
@@Versul1 He landed a couple good jokes, I've seen many do much worse.

My husband is not a fan of Curb.
We have different bedrooms now.
True story.
I love Mr. David’s smile.
That man could absolutely get it. JS
The dynamic between Larry and Susan is the best
Remember Jeff mentioned how much he loves pot on Conan? He was so high in this interview
Yep, fat boy loves smoking indica.
I love how they envite the cast to only talk to Larry. And the host speaks to the others only in reference to Larry lol
Yeah, kinda awkward.
It makes it that much funnier every time Jeff chimes in or interrupts
Great interview! I freaking love Larry David. I've watched every Seinfeld episode enough times that I can quote most of them verbatim, yet they still make me laugh every time. Unfortunately don't have HBO right now, but I will find a way to watch more Curb soon.

I bought a new pair of shorts and shortly found out that the zipper stopped short of being able to comfortably go to the bathroom. I asked a bunch of people if they had any problem like that with new shorts but no one did. Then, I swear, that week on CURB, Larry was bitching about the EXACT SAME THING! I told my wife “See! I’m not crazy, if it happened to Larry then it IS a thing”.
Wonderful
Brian Williams is wonderful with a microphone. He could be a comedian in another life.
I have always loved Curb because I can relate to Larry. Like people parking over the lines, that has bothered me for as long as I can remember. lol
That's funny, just yesterday I saw a woman with New Jersey plates do that at our local park.I immediatly thought "pig parker".

Jeff is damn spot on, highly intelligent individual. Larry is Larry, funniest guy ever. I wish this lasted for more hours.
The fact that its improv makes me love it even more.
Again, Larry sitting there wondering why everyone is so fascinated.

Jeff and LD are like a couple of kids always getting involved in mischief and susie being the mother.
i've never watched one of these things, an this was hilarious lol. i didnt expect to stick around for more than a few minutes.
"Curb" is "Seinfeld" on steroids.
Perfect analogy 👌 lol
Dont agree, always sunny in philadelphia is that. Curb is different.
The genesis of “Curb” sounded just like how they originally pitched “Seinfeld”: following a standup around to see how he comes up with his material.

I totally sympathise with Larry, I hate small talk and "forced fun" social situations. Im both and introvert and an extrovert too. Depending on the situation. 😂
Lmao same here. I once had a buddy describe me as the closest thing he has to Larry David in his life 😂

he is larrys lemming..just like you
I’ve been a fan since Day 1. I fancy myself as Larry. But as a 43 year old black woman.
I love Curb Your Enthusiasm. Hilarious show
Larry is a confident introvert. Never needs to be centre of attention. As opposed to Jeff. This interview perfect example
Uh, Larry is the center of attention on his own show. Duh! Plus, after 30 years of therapy and making 100s of millions of $$$, he has plenty of self-esteem.
Extrovert doesn't mean center of attention
🤡
Brian Williams is just excellent 🥰
Seriously?....
Oh i get it..... your his #1 Fan!...
The bigger question here is why isn't JB Smooth not there because me personally, he's the one of the best parts of the show
And Richard Lewis.
Pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty good!
SNL should do a skit were Larry plays Bernie and JB Smoove is with him as a campaign rep to get the black vote.
Either that or he meets George Jefferson and they complete each other's sentences.
Pretty, Pretty, Pretty....Pretty good.
I think what makes it for me is everyone of the characters. Their great
