I've been to loch Ness nothing seen but it's strange l went again and it's like the places l' d been to were different. Perhaps there are other dimensions at work up there.
Cold, Check. Windy, Check. Dreich, Check. You're in Scotland, no doubt. Also, I heard a good story from a mate up Inverness way a few years back, just usual pub patter so don't take it to heart. He'd suggested that Nessie wasn't the Plesiosaur that was so often depicted, but in reality, just a giant squid that held one of it's tentacles above the surface for some obtuse reason beyond man's ken. But, hey, it brings in the tourists.
I loved hearing your final thoughts. For me as a Brit growing up in England and going to school from around '84 to '93, Hollywood movies made me fall in love with your country. I've pretty much spent my life since 'California Dreamin'. The two times I've visited your country I feel like I'm in one of those movies every time. It feels so surreal to me, much like you both are probably feeling over here. Being in NYC and seeing steam rising up out of the manhole covers on Park Avenue made me think I was on the set of Ghostbusters. Seeing the Hollywood sign made me more happy than I've ever been. I'm staying with friends in San Diego County for Easter and man I can't wait. You're so right in what you say, there is a whole world out there just waiting for us all, if we can get the funds together it would be such a shame not to see as much of it as possible. Thanks for sharing your wonderfully Grimm adventures with us♥️
I've been to Loch Ness several times. Even though I don't believe there is a monster living there, the sheer strength of the legend makes you feel its presence as you stand on its shores. Great video guys!
The Loch is so deep and dark and filled with tunnels and caves, I like to think there was a family of plesiosuars there at one time who managed to avoid the asteroid which killed off the dinosaurs... but they have now died off. 😏
Agreed 100% I believe there is something huge in that lake that’s never been identified, I don’t know about a prehistoric creature, but definitely something huge!
What I like about the both of is, you're very respectful to what you do and the places/people you encounter (as well as Jessica being damn cute). A lot of UA-camrs do videos to earn money and not have to work, by that I mean stay in their homes and film from there. You dont, you get out there, you visit the places, you really seem to love what you do and this makes us love watching. Stay Grimm and love from Sheffield in the UK.
I lived in Inverness for years and regularly fished Loch Ness, I never caught any monsters but Nessie is in there for real. She’s a shy big beastie that’s not to keen on showing herself to tourists though she does break surface now and again to keep the tourists coming in hope of seeing her. 😉 🏴

Its so weird seeing you & Jessica in and around Scotland where I live and visiting the places that I myself have been many times after watching your videos for the past few years of all the cool places in america.. I hope you both enjoyed your trip and the weather wasn't too bad for you, all the best guys.

When you go to Urquhart Castle, they take you into this room when there is this massive bay window with the curtains drawn. Then they open the curtains and you are confronted with this beautiful, breathtaking view of the loch :) I hope you go to it one day
Great video guys, nice to see you in the UK visiting. When you follow a lot of US you tubers, you don't see many going outside of the US to visit the UK.

Nessie has been my favorite cryptid ever since I was a little girl. I can dream that a Plesiosaur survived the ice age. She remains happy in that beautiful place of solitude.
Love Loch Ness! Was there back in the late 90s and it's just an awesome place. The Scottish highlands are breathtakingly beautiful. Wish I could go back again someday. It's very spooky in a way, when you're expecting to see that head peeking out of the water lol Love that y'all are over there making videos. Brings back a lot of great memories. ❤
Now this is what I'm talking about! It's the magic and mystery Michael. She's a beauty, not a monster. I wish she would have come up and given you a kiss on your head! 💝

I'm British and believe that 'Nessie' over the decades has been a great marketing gimmick but honestly I was still scanning behind you during the monologue at the lakes edge, just in case 😉
The thing with Loch Ness is that so many tourists want to see it, they want to catch a glimpse of Nessie, but, as Jessica touched on, the viewing areas are limited, as all the towns situated around the Loch are small, quaint villages. Even the roads around the Loch are small, and really haven't been upgraded since the 60's in all honesty. So you have these wee narrow roads, small, quaint villages and then thousands upon thousands of tourists all crammed into what really amount to a tiny area. I love Scotland, it's my home, but businesses don't half know how to fleece the tourists, and not only foreign tourists, but Scottish ones. I love touring Scotland, visiting battlefields, castles, villages, general places of interest and i have to laugh at the price of things, even snacks, cans of juice, water, sweets or ice cream, are blown up in price compared to non tourist spots. It's excellent to see you enjoying our wee country mind. Stay grimm and all the best.
Definitely a childhood dream. I remember staring at picture books in elementary school in Michigan totally enchanted by loch Ness. What a sweet heart kinda of day for you. No crowds, cold, and a quick glimpse for us of the Castle!! Awesome thank you so much for the three hour drive. Happy lovely Halloween.❤
I stood on that turret of Urquhart Castle, looking out at the loch, convinced that it was going to be the day that Nessie would appear. I was with a group of friends and in every one of their photographs, I remain standing in that turret looking for Nessie the whole time. One of them had to come up and tell me it was time to go. 😆
I'm so happy for the two of you that you get to see such a legendary and beautiful place! Lovely. That's all I can realy say is lovely. Thank you for this video and this is truely amazing! 🖤❤🖤❤🖤❤I wish they had a Nessy emoji.
I usually go to Scotland in May and September. I've been around Dunoon which is picturesque throughout. And Perthshire is a very charming place to visit and very clean. Stanley Mills and Glamis Castle were great to visit. And weren't that many people around. Basically had them to myself with no screaming kids everywhere. Scotland is a magical place. I will venture again in 2024 😊

Great video! I've been obsessed with Nessie for nearly 40 years and Loch Ness is definitely on my bucket list. Thanks for showing me some more of the places I never see in videos. You both are very likable people and I appreciate your story telling!
One of the most bizarre Nessie stories is from the 1970 movie The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes whose baddie, Christopher Lee, was based in Urquhart Castle. They had a Loch Ness monster shaped submarine which sank and is apparently still at the bottom of the Loch. Sorry you had so much trouble getting into places off season. The Highlands generally has one of the lowest population densities in Europe and once the tourists disappear so do a lot of the staff. A bit like the Overlook Hotel.
Outstanding Michael and Jessica! Good luck on your hunt. Steve Alten did a great novel called ‘The Loch’ that offered some plausible possibilities of the creature. Y’all should check it out.
This is so AWESOME! Reminds me of one of my favorite movies (Napoleon Dynamite) ❤😆 Real or not real, we all love the legend! Thanks for allowing us to experience this with you! ❤❤❤
We took the kids to Loch Ness for the day some years ago and really recommend the boat tours. It was so much fun and the skipper let my son at the wheel, too. Plenty suspicious looking ripples and waves to convince kids they have seen the monster 😂
Amazing to see you guys up by Loch Ness. I’m from Glasgow and have watched you guys videos on Lost Boys and Terminator movie locations and to see you in my home country is so great to see! Not only that but my family own a house in Drumnadrochit, the town right beside Loch Ness. Sorry to hear a lot of it was shut. That’s quite unusual and don’t know the reason unfortunately!

Your videos really inspire me, and I LOVE history…and your channel is one of my favorites!…I learn so much!! Its given me the courage to get out and go see places I have always wanted to see, and go on an adventure!
My first wife was from North Devon England, so I got to travel there four times back in the 90's and always loved it! Visiting Scotland and Ireland are next on my travel lists.
And I feel your pain of not being able to access the castle. Two years back I went all the way to San Francisco from Essex here in England, borrowed a rental car and drove north to Point Reyes station to visit The Fog filming locations and then further east to visit Point Reyes Lighthouse it was unexpectedly closed. Gutted was an understatement but hey, it’ll give me a reason to revisit, like the castle should for you ❤
I absolutely loved this, growing up in Germany I have always heard stories about Nessy thank you for showing this, it was awesome, and what was so great as well was both of your closing thoughts about everyone having a bucket list ......food for thoughts, great as always ....God bless y'all both
Been there a few times. yes it looks cold and the water is choppy but it's beautiful in the summer only way to spot nessie is when the loch is calm and still if your very lucky.
It's true that wherever we come from, we always want to see somewhere else. So true. I'm born a Scot, living in the south-east of England, and all I ever want to do is drive across the USA. I've driven 41 States and most of southern Canada, and even now I am desperate to go back, just to sit at the counter in a bar in Reno, then maybe walk to the Gold'n'Silver for dinner at 3.30am. And the more I travel, the more I live for nothing else, and especially so that I've always taken my wife and children with me on every step. I adore that M&J are in the UK and seeing their dream. We are all two sides of the same coin. Love and peace. This life is one moment - don't waste a single second of it pretending you'll do it tomorrow. My wife once told me that her mother was critical that we needed a new carpet, but instead spent the money on travel. She told her; "on my death bed, I'd probably not reminisce about the carpet".
Even if I don't see Nessie.... I would still like to go to Loch Ness and take photos... touch the water. It's such a legendary place. Either way I won't be disappointed. I know of a few people who was genuinely disappointed in their trip there because they actually expected to see a "monster" swimming around as though Loch Ness is "Jurassic Park". A shame.
Have loved watching your UK videos, sorry about the weather, occasionally questionable hospitality and that everywhere is half-closed this time of year. But at least you avoided the midges by visiting Scotland when it's cold! 😂 Very true what you said about ticking things off your bucket list - even as a 50-something I still have a long list. Ticked off New York this year, hopefully Easter Island next ... and one day the Surf Ballroom
Cool man! your at the loch hope you see Nessie as she,s fondly called,is the wife with you, what a trip😮go out on the boat trip when water calmer if they are still doing boat trip.Nessie is beautiful she’s no monster she’s more like your friend, she will do you no harm.enjoy your trip but don’t fall into the cold loch you’ll freeze .😮wow your this side of the pond as they say.😮welcome to Britain .
I live in Glasgow, and in April / May 1991 i was sent to work in Foyers power station near Boleskine house, i spent 4 weeks painting outside with a camera strapped round my neck hoping for something to appear, unfortunately nothing did, but as I'm a huge zeppelin fan, getting to see Boleskine house was a bonus.
You two are are actually so inspiring. I want to travel so bad but year after year goes by and no action on my part. I think for 2024 I'm going to make travel a priority! Thank you so much for everything you do!
If you are like me and grew up in the 70s, you watched ‘In Search of’ Tv series and believed in 3 things. Big Foot and Nessie are real, and you were going to die in quicksand someday
Loch Ness is incredible I’ve been a good few times my wife and I I stayed in Fort Augustus and watched all the boats coming down through the lock gates then sail onto the loch,Scotland is stunning I’m currently looking onto Loch Lomond just now it’s breathtaking 😊🏴🏴
I don't know if it's real or not, but I love to believe it's real, just like Bigfoot. I think it's so neat to imagine! We plan to go to Great Britain in the next few years and I can't wait to look for Nessie! 😉 I've been loving your videos from your trip!
One thing about the UK, particularly Scotland, is that it gets dark before 5pm this time of year. September marks the end of the holiday season so everything is generally closed after then. Several months of bad weather sets in. TBH I’m not a big fan of the touristy places within UK. They’re often packed, lack space, long queues, poor parking and pricey. You’re better off avoiding those places or planning your own tours.
Whenever I took the children out I used to always say to them if there is a long queue it either free or cheap but if there's hardly any queue it's because it's dear And that applies for 99.9% of places , even cafes (eateries) restaurant . 🤔🏴 .
I think that as long as the Nessies (and clearly, there would be a breeding colony of them) are treated with warm and peaceful hearts, they will never become scary…or dangerous.
Can we all just appreciate the amount of time and money it took to plan and provide the content the last month for us? Bravo you two. Really really amazing.

You hit the jackpot by going in and seeing what is in that building. That museum is frigging amazing!
I can’t believe I actually do the grimmlifecillective hand claw you do at the end of your great videos 🫣😂😂😂😂😂
Gutted was an understatement but hey, it’ll give me a reason to revisit, like the castle should for you ❤
Brilliant.. you and Jessica are legends.. love Loch Ness mate👍👏🎃
Been watching the channel for a few yerars, great to see you guys in my own country.
A shame.
Hi Michelle & Jessica 👋😊 I am so glad you got the opportunity to go through London,Ireland& Paris
My favourite channel 100%...and yes I mean the Grim Collective, so you know I'm not a bot. 😅
Cool man! your at the loch hope you see Nessie as she,s fondly called,is the wife with you, what a trip😮go out on the boat trip when water calmer if they are still doing boat trip.Nessie is beautiful she’s no monster she’s more like your friend, she will do you no harm.enjoy your trip but don’t fall into the cold loch you’ll freeze .😮wow your this side of the pond as they say.😮welcome to Britain .
I been to Scotland a couple times recently, Scotland is the jewel in the British crown 👑
Monster hunting at Loch Ness with Michael and Jessica - does it get any better than this??? 😍😃🎉
Well done for braving the nippy air. Beautiful place. That's a castle I have not visited yet but I mean to.
I've been loving your videos from your trip!
You both are the best Michael and Jessica. Nobody says it better than you both. Amazing video. Beautiful.
That was so cool 😎 Thankyou both for taking me to Lochness ❤❤❤❤ my bucket list for sure ❤❤❤❤ Ps you two are so cute together ❤❤❤❤❤
I don’t like crowds either. I enjoy your channel. Thank you. 😎
Loved this it was great ❤ also crazy that there's a yellow Submarine there my dad actually designed it for the film so it was really cool to see 😮❤xxx
Whenever I took the children out I used to always say to them if there is a long queue it either free or cheap but if there's hardly any queue it's because it's dear
And that applies for 99.9% of places , even cafes (eateries) restaurant . 🤔🏴 .
It was properly a species of dinosaur that survived and now died off 🤔🤔🤔🤔 living the dream, grimmlifecollective another great video
I think that as long as the Nessies (and clearly, there would be a breeding colony of them) are treated with warm and peaceful hearts, they will never become scary…or dangerous.
