@@tommay6590 We all know the answer to that: because it would lead to two more Democratic senators. And that's the reason there is both a North and a South Dakota: it results in four Republican senators.
Like...uh...we all learned this in high school...right? Maybe we can blame it on "the new Math." I told my kids' teachers, "I home school. When my kids come home from public schools I have to teach them all over again."
It would be interesting to hear the "story" from the Japanese, Russian, or Chinese point of view. As always, reciting history is biased depending on where you live. I wonder what the UN would be like if its headquarter wasn't in Manhattan. Objectivity is a scarce resource.
I learned this many many moons ago when I use to walk to school in the snow, going up hill both ways. But for some reason it sounds much better coming from a couple “no”nonsense Alfieri boys. The NALF And ANDALF nonsense channel
1:02 When you say "democratic" you really mean "autocratic", right? South Korea could hardly be called "democratic" until the late 80s or maybe even 1997, the South Korean people had really to fight a hard struggle for their country to become a democracy. The term you most likely were looking for is "pro-western". Also, while I understand that this video might be too short to mention the Chinese involvement, is there a reason that you stated "the war broke out" instead of "North Korea invaded the South and came very close to occupy it completely"?

@@tommay6590 Now the reason for two of them is totally understandable.
@@mojojim6458 okay then you are free to turn the table and propose a video about “Why are North and South California still o n e thing?”😉😅😂

After 70+ years of division, even their languages have diverged into distinct forms.
