I can't with this girl, I tried watching her show I love women rising up and being strong no matter what the world tells them and I thought oh she's a little spitfire, which she is, but it got too hard to watch, the complaining about not being treated like an adult but then acting like a child, the poor guy she went on her first date with she was so rude to him and he was an absolute sweetheart, I couldn't care if she's 2 feet tall or 11 feet tall, character counts for a lot.
Yeah, but she’s only 22 years old. There are women in their 40s who act like kids on tv. At least she had an excuse as a young adult trying to find her way in the world. I can’t wait to see how her life develops.
I agree with both perspectives. It's just a TV show so certain routines are amplified for the camera. And the date she went on was a little ridiculous. There's someone for everyone and I don't think it's such a great idea to match her up with someone random.

It’s good to have opinion, we all see things different. It’s great conversation. I didn’t even know who she was or her having a show, until I watch Tamara U Tube video with her an her family. she is a lil spit fire. So I set my DVR for her show. So I will check her out an see what she working with.
She would make for an amazing pediatrician. Children would love her a role model.

Good point. Half of our personality is shaped by how we view ourselves… the other half is shaped by how others view us. Just think of those kids who grew up with parents that told them they were losers and worthless every day. They grow up to believe that.

Well yes! There’s plenty of other things that add to it. Her height alone makes it hard to see her. Walking in a parking lot is more dangerous for her. My biggest fear in a parking lot isn’t my kids knowing what to do. It’s drivers not seeing them and backing into them.
She's always an easier for any number of crime targets due to size. Though I have had classmate who were pretty much her size and and they were independent out in the city (at NYC).

@@livylu6287 no offense but this is pretty stupid comment… I take it you have never been to NYC because there are much less parking lots in NYC then in regular towns across the country. NYC is full of buildings most people don’t even own a car they take taxis and the subway and when people cross the road it’s groups of people walking across the road so if anything it would be safer for her to walk around in NYC. How many 3ft tall kids get hit in a parking lot? Doesn’t happen very often. If ur a good parent you teach ur kids to watch out for cars when walking. People cause accidents because they slam on their brakes to avoid a squirrel or a bird in the road! She’s not at any more risk to get hit by a car because she’s 3ft tall that’s just absolutely ridiculous to say that. Someone that gets hit by a car in a parking lot is usually from people not paying attention because they are on their phone or an old people that shouldn’t be driving anymore because they can’t turn their head to look around. Just because she’s small doesn’t mean she can’t live a regular life just look at Verne Troyer he was only 2ft 8 and he was able to do just about anything! There are plenty of mentality challenged people that live on their own if they can do it there’s no reason she can’t. If she was my daughter the only reason I wouldn’t want her to move out on her own is because she’s my little girl not because she’s short and I don’t want anything to happen to her I want my daughter around so I can protect her just like any other good parents. I mean if she didn’t move out of her parents do you think she’s never gonna be in a parking lot alone? Just because she lives with her parents doesn’t mean she goes out with her parents for everything she does you’re thinking she is treated like she’s five years old still

I'm really glad to see awareness being spread on this condition. My son was diagnosed with a pituitary abnormality in 2013 which resulted in him producing no growth hormone at all. At that time I never even knew that could be a thing. Fortunately he responded well to the hormones but will be on medication the rest of his life due to the pituitary abnormalities.
I have question! Mentally is she an adult or does she have the mind of a kid/teen? I'm just very curious as to if she has the mental capacity to consent to a relationship or not
Cases like your sons make me so happy we've progressed so much in the medical field. Sure, he'll be on meds, but if it weren't for those meds and treatment, his life would most likely be far much harder. If it weren't for modern-day medicine, so many people would be facing terrible complications or even death because of their conditions - not just talking about pituitary abnormalities, but in general. For example, I would've died when I was just 4 years old, if it wasn't for the medical knowledge we have today. If I were born even 50 years earlier, I wouldn't survive. It's crazy to think about these things and it makes me grateful :)

It's not that her growth hormones didn't work, it's because she stopped taking them. She mentioned it in season one that she didn't like the side effects so she stopped taking them. She said if she would have continued taking them she would have at least been 5ft.

I have a disability as well. It is a mild case. I am proud shauna is standing up for herself and let other people know not to judge you if you do not the person. I was teased and bullied so much through my life. Now I am older I do not let my mild CP stand in my way. I am thankful I have the chance to live life . I am like any other person. I am happily married to a great man who loves me for who I am inside and out.

Beautiful young lady... it's got to be difficult! A friend of mine has a son who has this. The growth hormone sort of worked for him but he's still very short.
People will always have opinions. You gotta stay off media outlets and don't let ppls rudeness get to you. She is beautiful inside and out and should live her life the way she chooses. Some ppl are just so miserable with their own lives that they gotta bring other ppl down with them. Forget the haters and the trolls. Nobody knows what is best for you except YOU!

I watched first season of the show but I still have to catch up to season 2, also I think she looks best with her darker hair color, it suits her better, the blonde tends to wash her features out a bit.

She's gorgeous. I'm 4 foot 9. I understand being short. At 19 I became a mom. People thought my baby girl was my sister. A few elderly shook their head when I told them I was a military wife and she was my baby.. I was born with what's called oral facial digital syndrome type 1. All who are diagnosed with it are under 5 foot or close to it.

I can totally relate to her. Im 39yrs old, 4’11 and look like a child and bcuz of that I dont like to drink, go out, go to Casinos or anything where im might be I.D’d or where people may stare at me. Occasionally I watch this and it is very impressive to watch. She is so unique in many ways, and so typical in others. In some respects she has a liveliness, spunk, whatever to her nature and you just want her to succeed in life.

I’m 28 an i look pretty young for my age an I’m kinda short an petite an I have children an while I was pregnant with my 2nd I got so much hate an dirty looks from people who thought I was a teenager I can only imagine her it does get annoying after a while it honestly does. This lady completely changed her whole face when she found out I was 26 at the time & it bothers me cause even if I was a teen that doesn’t make me incapable of being a parent tbh. But whatever I can definitely see where that would get annoying when she is constantly being judged an told what’s right an wrong in her life people are commenting on things they know absolutely NOTHING about
I never seen her show before I seen clips of her show but I can relate to her I’m 23 and I’m 4’11 and I have a young face on top of that. And it’s been struggle being this height. People don’t take me seriously they always think I’m joking or they don’t look at me as a adult they see me as a child and I’m not a child . And it sucks and if you wanna talk about guys we’ll that’s a different story well not really they don’t take me serious either again they think I’m a child. And it’s just hard . Even shopping is hard I have to stand on something so I can get a item that’s at the top of the shelf or ask someone for help. But I’m trying to learn how to love my height it takes time. 💖💜

The shade Tamron gave her at the beginning. She didn't want to tell what perfume she was wearing.
She just wants to be a normal 23 year old girl and date men her age but she looks like she's 12 years old at the most. Any average guy her age or older would be paranoid that he would be reported for child abduction when they went out on a date in public...stressful to say the least. Also, she would have to be wary of creepy fetishists. She did date someone with a similar condition but I think he lived in another state. Difficult and challenging.
