Me watching this with my 2.0 NA, manual, cloth interiored Volvo on steel wheels with plastic hubcaps sitting outside. Hmm.
Or me with my Renault 19 1.8i NA with a manual gearbox, cloth interior and steel wheels with plastic hubcaps... i didnt saw it as a grandpa car
Me watching without a car.
You think way too much
Me with a 1.2 škoda fabia HTP from 2007 oh and in bright orange
Me with 2.3 liter Saab 9-5 SE leather interior 16 inch wheels, catless, td-04 turbo, injectors from 191kw model, king cobra pipe cold air intake, straight pipe, big intercooler , tuned 195kw at the wheels, base bucket silver color , exterior is stock
My grandpa was driving a Corvette.
im driving a Seat.
My life is a mistake.
FreakyF at least you have a seat😭
@ANIME ANGELIC STAR yes my grandpa left the world in 2011. I wish I could spend more time with him
Americans: How can you drive a seat?
Europeans: Hope the VW-technology doesn't break down.
@ANIME ANGELIC STAR Same year for me too

When I get to that age, a 4.0 V8 will be considered grandpa spec as everyone will have electric cars.
Very well said!
4.0 V8 e34 ftw
I won't have a car this way
Even when I’m at a age of a grandpa I will still own a V8 or a fun car. I would be considered a cool grandpa.
@@fishkings423 I'm looking for a V10 or a 2JZ

Buick, bridging the practicality gap between a luxurious Cadillac & the utility of Chevrolet.
you forgot to add the buick
In Florida it’s illegal to drive a Buick 4 door if you’re under 70!

My grandpa drove until he was 89. We lost him in March, 4 months before his 92nd birthday. My gosh, he was still a good driver in his 80s.
"most manufactures have leather on every model," not everyone has 50k plus lying around
In most cases it's not even leather it's just vinyl these days.
Xdd in India, many cars have those options and are considered luxurious
Minelordsuniverse India is poor if I sit in a 20 grand Mercedes people will think I’m a millionaire
@joseph shamon But now no one gives a shit even to the porsche cayenne in india, btw use your brain before you talk
I don't think that's the condition in South India though. Just saw 2 mk4 supras and an r35 gtr in Kochi today. Regular Mercedes, bmw and audis stand no chance down here.
Farhan Ali your probably Indian and just triggered by the fact
in hyderabd nobody gives a single shit for an imported mazda rx-8, there are several mk2 miatas (rare find in this country), but nobody seemed interested in them
Grandpa cars have a special place in my heart
3:33 “hate it when automatics try to look like manuals”
Bruh, that’s like, everyone’s mood
whenever I speaked out against them I got tons of hate so I don't think that's the case
@A real bisexual petrol-head dude wtf is wrong with you? who wished death to car manufacturers or Grandpas? and no they can not design anything they want, they should appeal to customers
@A real bisexual petrol-head see you everywhere with your utterly offensive comments LMAO. tryna look edgy
@A real bisexual petrol-head wow that literally doesn't make any sense man, wtf do you mean why don't you design your own car? maybe because there are companies who want to sell you cars of which you have absolute rights to rate? if they make literally shit and put in some screws just because they want to then they are gonna be screwed
@A real bisexual petrol-head that's like same if you go to a restaurant and chef gives you dog shit and you not complaining because well that's how chef wanted it

Dislike it when non-car people call the Grand Marquis a grandma car. It's really a good car. My grandfather had a 85' and it was roomy!
My grandpa drives a manual low rider
So I would like to have a grandpa spec car
Back in the day, you could pick and choose any options for your car, at least for American cars. Now it's just trim levels with mild customization.
Hey viral vehicles ive been watching your videos for 2 years and im a big fan
I’ll just go to the garden center in my Triumph Dolomite now. 😤
I like the idea of being able to change your Hubcaps once you get bored of the design for less than £50
Yeah that´s cool
Guess I'm a grandpa then cuz I like most of these things
Well my grandpa still drives his old 80's e class
I have a silver e39
It has radio, airbags,ac and lots of space
Its turbocharged
It has cloth interior
249 hp
So is my cqr Grampa spec?
Yes
Automatic or manual?
I had a blue e39 with a cloth interior, tape deck and 6 disc changer, auto box, 15 inch wheels and wooden trim dashboard 😂. E39's are extremely grandpa spec 😆
@A real bisexual petrol-head
Cloth interiors don't look very classy, especially on higher end cars...
(for example: Mercedes, BMW, Audi, etc...)
Leather looks a lot better!
Wood trims look nice on certain cars, like a S-class ...
@@darrylmac6150 *Your* E39 looked "grandpa"... 😂
E39's usually aren't a "grandpa" car.
What about a black M5 E39 with a black or cream leather interior?
Ha! Jokes on you! My Grandma own my car before me!
Edit: and my Grandpa owned a 6 liter V8!
... it was a 2005 GMC savanna van
When I was a kid, my grandmother would drive around in a massive 71 Cadillac Eldorado. It was large enough to land a Piper Cub or small Cessna on the roof and had a massive 500 cubic inch (8.2 liter) engine driving the front wheels. It had enough red leather and velour to put a Parisienne brothel to shame and was pretty much the big hoss of the highway. I remember her driving us around and always basking in the air conditioning in the boiling Texas sun.

Propaply the best thing my grandpa flexed about his car: "this car has air condition did you knoe that?"
Like back in my grandfather's day a speedometer was considered luxury options
@A real bisexual petrol-head not really tbh because the fastest they could go was 10 mph and he's still alive so I honestly don't know what your getting at!?
I’ve always known Grand pa knows what’s best.
My dad just owned a 2000 silverado heavy duty it has white paint and a cloth interior and it even is a base model and has a 6.0 V8
I have a e46 320d
It's turbocharged, diesel, cloth interior, a good amount of space, practical.
Only extra: Multifunctional steering wheel and alloy wheels.
Definitely a grandpa spec
The entire point of me having a grandpa spec car would be to put a 2jz in it
The transmission will die
My gramps drives a manual EU Ford Fusion with a little remote for the radio on the steering wherl which looks like a pan sticking out. I think that should be good enough for a Gramps car.
Its silver boring looks unremarkable and we have alot of them around my area.
Meanwhile, my grandpa spec has a NA 2JZ in it XD
I see a few gramps drive around in a smart roadster... i wonder how much power you can put into that
LS
Em's fightin words!!!
My grandpa used to have a V6 saab, Here im sitting owning a 2.4 Audi S5
But then my grandpa drives a 2008 stick shift 911 turbo... •-•
My 03 Taurus came with a tape deck at a time when cd players were standard. I bought it 8 years old and it was senior owned. The upshot was tjat it was stored in a garage and the family took excellent care of it. 8 years of ownership for 4000 , good deal.
My parents recently bought a Ford Galaxy Ghia from a 60+ year old lady. Everything is basic, monochrome Blaupunkt nav, no panorama window, 2.0 TDCi, cloth interior and 16-inch alloys. Only thing not so basic is the "white grape" golden-like paintjob I absolutely love.
The new Swift Is another normal car that looks sporty
Bigsmoke 2815 that’s basically a Camry here in the States
MindWarehouse, When did you go all Automotive XD? I knew you decided to have a 2nd (TechZone) but I didn't know you also did vehicles too.
I'm watching this with my 2002 Gray Honda Odyssey with a cloth interior sitting in the drive way
I guess my 4G eclipse checks some of these....but I doubt a grandpa can get in the car anyways lol
same with my lowered Miata
My Grandpa has a 2019 Honda Civic Type R, meanwhile I’m here with my little Fiesta Titanium
I'd must say, Swift Sports would be one of my favourite as hot hatch, although its a shame that they're no longer offer in my country (the overall brand).
Nice featuring the Proton Iriz R3 at the end though.
Well ....for a 2002 e46 coupe , i gotta say it still looks young
18 inch rims , black leather interior , black roofline , electric seats , factory sport suspension , led taillights , beautiful 3 spoke sport steering wheel
The main drawbacks are the sound isolation , the shitty cd player and the poor speakers
I Love The New Swift
3:23 DTC xD. Apart from that, in most things (apart from turbo diesel part), as 20 y.o. I relate to grandpas. Guess I appreciate the simplest things the most.
Gotta have the nanna rug on the rear parcel shelf with a straw hat ;)
Grandpa? It must be vintage!!!
Just kidding!
Nice vid
Cloth trim is sooooooooo comfy. Also, props to the interior shot of a BMW E39 at 5:49. Had one in the family for 16 years... good times.
-has 13 inch chrome plated steel rims.
-has a cloth interior with cloth covered bucket seats.
- has no gadgets or technology on board
- has a 1.5 litre petrol n/a
-basic 4 speed manual
Yeah grandpa spec. Or just a classic roadster, light enough for the lack of power to seem like a lot.
i have a Red e39 520i from my grandpa with 15 inch alloys and cloth seats, but gladly black trim inside and i love it
4:25 in Belgium those plates cost around €2000 to just buy the plate and a normal plate is €2-€4 so 😂
My uncle is in his 50's and he is the kind of person that loves to drive long roads. Like 100 km roads. So he likes SUV's.
Me with my 1991 BMW 320i SE with cloth interior and 15" wheels (alloys though), yes my grandad did buy it, though it was two years old at the time.
That last seconds video car is Proton Iriz from Malaysia.
My Camry is grandpa spec so it's comfy and I love it.
i’m crying when the Swift Came up
u should make a video about iranian made car making pegout 405 and kia pride for 30 year ...

Silver 2002 merc e200 estate, manual box with cloth seats and 15 inch wheels and wood trim on the dash. Grandpa spec and I love it
I own a 1982 Datsun 280ZX GL. It has a 2.8 litre NA L type inline 6 cylinder engine. Two tone black and white interior, black vinyl and white cloth. It has a 5 speed manual transmission, t-tops, radio with tape deck, 15 inch rims and it is silver in color.
I own a 1999 volvo v70 auto olive green with light interior 👌🏻 and i love it
Yep. Base model Honda Civic Hybrid from 2004 in silver. I was even gifted it as a graduation present from my grandparents.
My grandpa car was bequeathed upon me several years ago when he bought something newer and I needed something reliable and efficient. The grandpa in question is actually my father (my daughter is what makes him a grandpa, obviously) and I've never had a car I love more. Twenty year old car with sixteen inch wheels, the stock size. Tan and black interior, though I re-skinned the seats with two tone tan and black. I also swapped in a wood rim steering wheel and shift knob from an earlier year trim package. It is a bright metallic blue, so that's held up well, and I keep the headlights clear. It does have a little 1.8 liter engine with 149 hp from the factory, and yes, it has a manual, but that's the proper way to drive a car in my opinion. No stupid infotainment touch screen but I did put a radio with a couple of USB ports so I can use my iPod (Classic!). Yeah, it's a grandpa car, but it's a 2001 Mazda Miata in very very good condition, and I can't think of a grandpa car I'd rather drive.
You got me on the tan/beige interior. I agree tho, that's the only thing that has always bothered me about my truck. Couldn't have gotten lucky enough to grab a black or gray interior model.
black & gray are basic
I love cloth seat! 😂
I'm watching this, thinking about my 1.8 4age manual Celica st coupe with cloth, roll up windows, and 15 inch wheels
When I see a grandpa spec car:
Ok
Ok boomer
Just watched while sitting in my apparently almost fully optioned out grandpa spec car... White exterior, grey cloth interior with a N/A 1.8L 4 cylinder mated to a 6 speed manual, on 16" steelies. Only thing im missing is the walnut inlays
0:19 *laughs in Volvo 240*
Small wheels? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY ABOUT THE STRATOS?
My grandfather's the person for when he buys a car, checks off as many boxes he can. For example with my silver 2004 Toyota Highlander Limited [V6 4WD] it has every box checked off except the GPS and rear DVD player. [thank god because if it had GPS, we never would have been able to install that aftermarket radio! ]
Anyways I digress. His currently car a pearl white 2017 Subaru Forester XT. It has paddle shifters and even a race mode. Last month on that road trip to PA, he fell asleep so i got the oppertunity to play on some high speed turn roads in sporf mode and even had the turbo boost gadge replacing the fuel efficiency one😂.
My 2011 Suzuki SX4 spec:
-Black metallic color
-1.5 L VVT gas engine
-Base model (but the spoiler added. Soon want buying extra roof rack)
-5 Speed Manual
-17" black color, alloy wheels (only 1" larger in diameter than its OEM)
-Regular license plates
-Interior used plastics and synthetic cloth (standard for nowadays vehicles)
Seen in my Silver 2.4 2006 cloth seats Toyota Camry. Seriously, most of us love cars, fast or sporty ones but in a reality check what most of us need is a reliable machine that doesn’t cost a gazillion dollars to keep on the road and that will ALWAYS start every morning.
Cloth seats and the car is grey. But I've got 18" alloy wheels, matte black trim, a top of the line audio system, a 6cyl rotary engine, a clutch-less manual, and on top of that it's the sport body model. I had two of them but I'm not too worried 😅
How can I get it TommyFyeAh spec ? Do I have to zinc plate all my brackets and bolts ?me while watching in my saab 9-3 2.0T with 17” Aluminium wheels
My car is officially grandpa spec. Base model beige 2003 ford focus lx 5-speed with the only option being the engine heater (original msrp was under $15k). It has a gray interior with cloth seats, crank windows, manual locks, manual seats, and 14" steel wheels.
I have a 2003 silver bmw 320 m sport with 19 inch alloy rims from the factory btw I use it for drifting
My Granpas Ford Sierra Cosworth RS's roll up, God their fun cars. He has 3 though 1 is wrecked so 2ish though his daily is a Hyundai Getz😂 and my other Grandad is Rich with a 2019 Audi Q5 (I think?) E-Tron
I like the classic H-gate manual transmission. It's the most satisfying thing to drive. And I also like cloth seats because I find them more comfortable than leather ones. As for the rim size, that depends on the car. Some cars look great with 20s. Others look like trash with them.
Best channel ever
This reminds me of my car because it's somewhat like this. The car was owned by the original owners Grandfather who eventually sold it to my dad, which it then had brake problems and crashed into a basketball hoop. It was then sold to one of my dad's friends who then sold it to one of their friends who got it for their daughter. Her father turned out to be my Archery coach and when I brought up that I needed a car he showed me a picture of it when I told him me and my dad used to own it we set up meeting where me and dad drove over to check the car out which now had working brakes but no AC and it was Rusty at parts and had peeling paint on the hood. We determined it was a good buy for how cheap it was and now I own the car again and it's my first set of wheels and it turned out to be one of the most reliable vehicles on my street because one day all the cars lost power and my car which had been having issues with its battery got my entire street to school
I own a '92 rover classic mini (British open edition) that's british racing green, with allow wheels, sunroof and half leather interior as standard. So not a grandpa car. But my dad's car (Citroen xsara break) is gray, with cloth, wheelcaps and a 1.6 16v petrol engine. But a stationwagen and most old people in Europe drive small cars like hatchbacks and sedans.
My sister rocks a 92 light blue Oldsmobile Cutlass and it checks every one of these.
The more grandpa spec, your car less likely to be attractive for thieves
My grandad has a 2005 SAAB 9-3 Turbo
my grandpa has a 2019 honda cr-v and it literally has all of the grandpa specs aside from a personalized plate lmao
My vw passat 5spd and cloth seats feels attacked 😭😭😭
According to this video and my car it seems I'm half grandpa, thanks mate=)
I would have an N/A car any day over any turbo one.
The punch they give you and the instant throttle response is the reason why grandpas are sometimes right.
Take a C4 VTS. 2.0 180HP. Easly tunable to 200HP with a proper K&N filter, a better cat and a remap.
Or a Celica with the 1.8L 190HP engine.
My car used to be my gradpa car, i'ts a 5 speed, 2 liter 4 door sedan with ALL the Bells and wistles, the good thing is the color, is a wine/red mettalic, and of course, a 24 years old car.
Wow my grandfather is not a racing driver but he drives a 2.0 turbo RTI 200hp renault laguna 1998. It has stock racing rims 19inch 260/40/R19 310mm 4piston vented discs at the front and 300mm 3piston solid discs at the back, sport exaust, and it does 0-62 in 4.2 sec... Impressive and its a 6speed manual.
100% grandpa spec and I love my Audi
I have a 2005 Camry 4cyl in eggshell blue.
Fucking love it.
8. Its a 60’s/70’s truck
