Just an important note to anyone installing MOMI, please do not install the x86 version unless you have a specific reason for needing to do so. It's come to our attention that it can flag an error message, and some players are experiencing issues because of this. The vast majority of people can and should use the regular 'ModsofMistriaInstaller.exe' to avoid issues. Side note: This information is true at the time of writing this comment. MOMI's creator is always updating it so this info maaaaay become irrelevant later on. 2. If you download any cosmetic mods that add new hairstyles/clothing etc to the game (not just replacing ones already there), it will break your save if you uninstall that mod and try to play again. The game won't like not being able to find something that *used* to be in that save file.
yeah, I keep trying to download the mod installer and my browser keeps flagging it and won't even let me download it bcuz 'it's not commonly downloaded'. I can't even bypass it or locate it in my downloads.

Wow i did not expect mod to be created already, thank you for this video and most of all explaining how to install a mod first :D As for your question, it's a bit hard to know since the game is still in early access, i feel a bit unfair asking for things they might implement later anyways...But i guess if i could add features via mod (and if FoM does not add this by the time it is released) i would make : (for the very heavy story based ones, nearly impossible to implement so i would assume i would have to pray modder for it) -Marriage for rival bachelors/bachelorette and children for rivals, having them becoming friends with our own children or not and go to the school we see in mistria but is closed) -You having child(ren) (i would love for each marriage candidate to have a set number of specific children, -like for example Celine has 1 girl, and if you marry her you can have 1 girl + your own two children, so up to 3. But for example Valen doesn't want children (and can't) so you only gets your own children (thanks magic) if you marry her. It would be cool if one of the marriage candidate would like to be childless and you have to accept that or not romance them / they divorce you if you do decide to get one...(hope it's not the one i like tho xD) -Aging up and seeing everyone in the village getting older and interacting differently (like would the noble sibs have a fallout in their thrity and then reconcile as they got older?) -Let the nice blacksmith dude get married to the saturday market furniture lady (he will carry her goods for eternity) *runs away* -Add a bunch of explanations behind things like store always opened, or chest being connected, like for example it's a magic blessing from the dragon statue ? -Adding up buildings rather than machines to up productivity (like milking room, adding the milk colected directly to ur chest) that way u don't end up with 10 identical machines you have to charge and refill. For now Mistria has avoided this and i'm very grateful for it, i hope they will not get on that train ever. *fingers crossed* -Magic creatures critter filling the place as you manage to heal the land. (For example smol chinese dragon flying around..., or maybe mermaid swimming in the river) - bonus point if they become sentient and you can talk to them...Or even better adopt them as pet or marry if they are human based. *gets out* -Being able to play dungeon and drama with the other characters !! -Being able to change your starter farm land a bit more (adding a pond...or a windmill or watermill) (features that make things easier): -Connected chest, you just click one button to access the other chests in your house without having to get to them -Possibility of regulating how fast time goes by ( features that make things harder) -Adding crow (maybe 3legged crow to make it more magical?) that eats your crops without a scarecrow -Adding foxes that might eat your small animals if you let them out during the night And that's already a lot xD
omg this is an amazing list! I 100% believe if Olric isn't made romanceable in the game there will be a mod to make him so! And playing in the dnd game.. I would LOVE this!
The quality of life in this game is so outstanding that I honestly don't feel like I need a lot like I do for Stardew for example - but I am sooo excited about all the potential decor and clothes 😍
I REALLY want a fixed version of the Time of Mistria mod for adjusting game time speed, it doesn't work on my computer. I thought it was just because my computer thought it was a virus, but even after messing with windows defender to allow it to run, the game has a launch error while it's installed. The other mods I've installed work fine... the in game time is just too rushed for me. I miss OG harvest moon where time at least froze inside buildings, so I could take my time a bit more. I think an overall slowdown would be better, but either one would really improve my QoL with gameplay.
I downloaded MOMI and chose the exe one and made sure the mod was MOMI and off the same website, followed the directions to a T but now anytime I try to run Fields of Mistria on steam it says error: missing game executable. I have tried to delete the game fully off my computer, even all the files of the game after making a copy of my saves, and redownloading it only to get the same message. I deleted the MOMI mod out of the fields of mistria folder, didn't do anything. I even went into my anti virus and added field of mistria to be able to bybass my firewall incase my computer saw the game as a threat or whatever. I cleared caches, restarted steam many times, restarted my computer, and nothing is working at all. I can no longer open field of mistria for some reason. I was playing the game before downloading the mods and it was fine. I don't know what to do and I'm really sad, I need to marry march!😭😭
Hey, I had the same problem. My Fields of Mistria was able to be run again when I redownloaded the game on a different hard drive without the mod installer. Seems like I won't get to try out mods until I figure this out Q_Q
Hi I was having this same exact problem and I don't know if you fixed it yet, but what worked for me was going through the mods one by one and checking which mods were okay to download. For example, if I tried to download a mod and a pop up came up that meant that mod wouldn't let my game start. And if I tried to download a mod and there was no pop up then it was safe to install. Some mods I found that do this are : Time of Mistria, Infinite Stamina, and Infinite Health. It also helps to remove the mods that don't work one by one as well so it's easier to keep track of which mods are good and which are not. So the game shouldn't actually be having any issues itself, it might just be some mods you may have. I hope this helps. Also try using REVO uninstaller if you want to completely remove the game and any files that may be connected to it. REVO will find everything mistria related and delete it.
I have a question. If the mods are not compatible with MOMI, will they still work? I already looked into mods, but glad I found your video because I had no idea what MOMI even was 😂
If it hasn’t been done already, and I haven’t had any luck so I doubt it, I would make a timescale adjustment mod. Aside from some small cosmetic stuff I love the game how it is it just feels WAY too fast
Hi, do I need to start a new save to use the mods? I've tried on my save and its not working, but when I start a new save, the mods appear I didn't want to give up on my save tho :(
I'm not too sure how crossover app works, so I'm not 100 percent sure. They have MOMI for windows and linux so I think you would have to have one of those operating systems to run it, but I've never used crossover so I really don't know. Sorry I couldn't be more help!
