You could also adjust the in-game scale from 3x to 1x (in settings) to get a bird eye's view of your farm! It's helped me figure out my farm layout from a farther and larger perspective :)
Can you play this way? I haven’t tried this but I do feel it’s zoomed in a bit much and with no mini map, I’m often using the big map to make sure I’m going the same way. Seeing landmarks earlier, will be a huge help. I’ll check this out after my work shift.
you can feed your animals directly with any forageable you can find like berries and they will give you shiny bead thingy in return. you don't have to solely rely on grass
The better way to feed your animals is to grow regrowable crops. Plant on different days and your animals always have to eat and drop 3 shiny beads each. Feeding tree fruit gives 4. Some meals give 8
@@MinakochiEmmieshould work! try checking your control settings. when youre placing ur items, hold the shift button and click what you want to move. it should automatically hop between ur inventory to ur box or vice versa!
@@neorbit808 thank you for replying I'll try to figure out! Also when I accidently threw an item toward a box the item went in the box so that's also good 😊
I had to steal your farm idea with the roads and barn at the very least because I suck at these things. I mean that’s a lot of work you put into that farm. I was lost lol. Thank you.
Thank you so much for recommending this game. ❤😊 I did not even watched the videos, just saw your thumbnail that said you can't stop playing. Now I can't stop! 😅❤😊
If it is seasonal things, just hang onto 5 of each (crops, fish, forages), that's more than enough for quests. If you want to cook/craft with them, obviously you need more. And to make money the best way is to sell fish and farm ore in the mines to make ingots > armor and sell those. You'll be rich in no time. I find money is really not the issue in this game but wood 😂
Early early game, fish and flowers. A few hours in, silver armor/tools 1000000%. One day of dungeoning = at least 75 ore = 8 ingots = 2 silver swords = 970+ gold x2
@@spookieloveromg don’t get me started with the woooood issue 😂 I was like a mad woman with my axe deforesting my whole town of Mistria 😂😂😂 like after you fix the bridge, then fix up the mill, expand the general store, expand Hayden’s farm etc etc its like never ending needing SO. MUCH. WOOD! 🤦🏼♀️😂
My farm is chests, farm buildings, wilderness, and a smattering of free stuff I've received over the past in-game year...which is on par with my irl decor choices, ngl. I didn't realize how ridiculously cute the Mistria farm could get until I saw yours.
As I hit the 12-minute mark, I'm reminded of the fact that I hoarded resources like a motherfucker for the first in-game year. So if I do want to decorate, I have what I need.
I super loved this video, Josh! I still haven't had time to watch your entire "Cute Farm" stream/VoD, but immediately jumped on this shorter video. It's so helpful. YES! Definitely would love to see a tour of your Mistria farm!
Great video, thank you Josh!! I was so going to hold out on this game until full release - but the temptation got too much! I am now playing and looking forward to decorating my farm and house with all the gorgeous items this game has to offer. It has the perfect cottage-core, pastel pretty look that I always wished some of the other pixel farm sims had!
You don't need to walk or stay close to the fences you're adding, you can place them by just clicking with the cursor even if it's far from your character.
I considered to start a new save in mistria as my current one was kinda more like a....test run ? Maybe on the next run I will try to find all the cave layers specific furniture first so first the normal mine layers and so on. I hope they will soon add another house upgrade so that we hopefully get separated rooms so that we can decorate a kitchen, living room and bedroom :3 I think when I'm at the point again to decorate my farm I will watch your decoration stream again :)
I would definitely like to see more of your farm. My daughter helped me play today which gave me some good progress. Well actually she played it as I was struggling and not getting anywhere. I now know a lot more than I did but I'm very very slow at it so my progress will be extremely slow. She has to do the mines for me because I cannot do them without dying.
This is a great video, I wrote down some of the tips to remember later! I’m really happy that we can use items inside and outside, that’ll be a lot of fun when I’m planning out my decorations. And I’d love to see a tour of your farm sometime, what you showed off in this video looked awesome!
You can also grow crops for the animals. They like most of the stuff that can be harvested every three days. This way you get pearls from them without putting much effort in it.
what kitchen stove area is that? or did you just add stuff with it because all i can buy is the stove with the teapot on top but it doesn't look like that
Thanks so much for all these tips. I love decorating in my farming sims as well. I've been trying to hold off on buying this one since I'm worried it won't have enough content to last me before they start updating the game, but it is so cute and polished that I might break down and get it anyway. Have you completed the "story" so far, or do you find there are so many things to do that you can really take your time?
There is a good amount of content already, I finished most of the main stuff that can be done (including the story) in about 30 hours (one in-game year), but I love playing it so now I'm just trying to collect every item, cook all dishes, etc. and that will probably get me to 40 hours. So I think it can definitely keep you busy for a while even in early access, the only part of the game you can't get too deep into is the relationships, since they're locked at 4 hearts at the moment.
@@JoshGamingGarden Thanks for answering my question, that's good to know. It looks so darn cute and I'm going to get it! Seems like there are a lot of quality of life improvements in it, and I can tell it's made with a lot of love. Glad you are enjoying it!
I was put off a bit by the super cartoonish looks of the game, as Ive grown to love more non pastel pixel style, but the mechanics are really neat. I think I will enjoy playing this and that the price vs value is really great.
omg does anyone know if we can place chests or the selling bin outside our farm?? i feel like that would be SO helpful. like how stardew valley you can place chests outside ur farm 😭
I am enjoying everafter falls much more than this. I think the main reason is it feels more immersive being able to use chairs and seats and many more furniture interactions.
