Thank you so much for this spectacular performance, Oslo Philharmonic and Maestro Klaus!! 💚🍀 The passion, love and care put into this is mind-blowing!! In these uncertain times, what you have provided us with is truly treasured for a lifetime. Thank you!! 🌸 Even with so much toxicity around, Oslo Philharmonic and Klaus Mäkelä have in fact, proved and shown us that classical music WILL help us get through it all...The gratitude towards the both of you is infinite. ❤️ Once again, than you tons Oslo Phil!!
I cannot count how many different versions of this beautiful piece of music I have listened to, but this is the only one that has brought tears to my eyes. Just pure perfection.
tender, sweet, delicate and so beautiful, wonderful harp, lovely orchestral support and heavenly work as always by the ❤ magical Conductor. love and much gratitude to all.🕊️🤍🤍💙✨🌟😘🧖♀️
Love this masterpiece for 40years and I' ve heard many versions but this is the most beautiful one I've ever listen to...the conductor moves so smooth like it should be and Ms Havik seems to become one with her instrument, she looks like the lover of her harp, like a fairy who dances in the woods. Thank you for this heartwarming presentation.Greetings from Austria
i know i’m awfully late but this is certainly my favorite rendition of this piece. You can tell how much the soloist and the conductor love the music simply by the way they move :)
Beautiful. I love the point at 5,15 where Ms Håvik opens here eyes with a look of surprise that there are other people around her. How wonderful to be so absorbed. Thank you.
Magic, thanks to Debussy, Ms Håvik, maestro Mäkelä, and the wonderful Oslo Philharmonic! These musical gifts are such an inspiration at a time like this. Thank you again! 🤗👍
She seemed to be in true ecstasy, so beautiful. To the conductor, she's the soloist, not you. She certainly doesn't need you to cue her. You should have taken a lesson from Bernstein and conducted with your eye.

the maestro needs to learn that this is her moment, not his.
Absolutely magical. Brings tears to my eyes and I hope to hear them in person some day.

An extraordinary piece from Debussy and a remarkable performance from the Oslo Philharmonic and Birgitte Volan Håvik….
One of Debussy's greatest works IMHO. An outstanding performance I might add!!

Maravilloso, mágico, etéreo, ensoñador, perfecto, Debussy siempre me adentra a mundos ensoñadores y mágicos.
It's mesmerizing to see that beautiful harpist play.
