Today was the 15 year anniversary of Michael 🤴🏽 Jackson leaving this world by the murderer Conrad Murray! It seems like it was just yesterday. Always💜 loved, forever missed & never forgotten!
My favorite MJ era was when he was with his brothers during the teen years. You can still hear Jermaine in there singing, even though he had got married and left the group by this performance.
ladyjae65 they were lip syncing which was common variety shows in those days. Randy never had solo lyrics on that song. Or any song that I can remember
AND they went by The Jackson 5. This may have been their last performance under this name, as Berry Gordy threatened suit with a cease and desist order to stop performing under the name HE gave them. This threat was really more aimed at Joe Jackson.
GOD DO WE MISS THIS MAN !!! You cannot practice, manufacture, purchase, steal or forcibly acquire this type of talent. I wonder if we knew at the time we were watching a man who was born to entertain. He is timeless, in any language in any era MJ rocks. My cousins and I had the fortune of seeing he and his brothers on the "Victory" tour at Comiskey Park, we sat near the front and could not believe what we were witnessing. Thank the Creator for the ability to enjoy the gift that was MJ and the J5 at their height !!!!
I too was at that concert at Cominsky..It was unbelievable. Have loved the J5 since their inception Locally with Michael singing Big Boy. Even watched the J5❤ cartoon series every Saturday morning. Ahhhhhh those days were innocent and fun.
Marlon and Randy mime his part though they would cover it live (Marlon would cover the main part as he did a lot of Jermaine's part with Randy covering parts of it Marlon couldn't due to the choreography. See the Mexico concert. )
I cant stop listening to this song!! I've always, and I mean always have loved MJ, but I feel like my love for him has grown so much since becoming an adult. Its a daily need of mine to listen to MJ and J5. That kind of musical genius wont come to us again for a long time, if ever.
This was my first time seeing them without Jermaine, but don’t hold your breath waiting for another group of talented brothers like this even without Jermaine.
After all of these years, what amazes me the most is their flawless choreography. I grew up in England listening to these kids and had the opportunity to see them in 1972 in London at age 15.
This choreography, song, and stage performance is wonderful. Michael leading vocals are very intense. I love you my angel Michael with all my heart and soul for all eternity!
Also amazing that Tito was playing his guitar before he was able to actually pick it up and put in on (008).😁 Randy and Marlon sounded like Jermaine at least twice. 😆 Hey, just making jest of what artists and groups went through when they were to lip sync their songs. But with a performance like this one, easy to overlook and enjoy.
Many of us were alive in these innocent, humble years of Michael Jackson and the Jacksons.I wish that Hollywood would've never whispered things to Mike to make him hard on himself.
There has never been a group of brothers like the Jackson 5ive. So glad that when I was growing up back in the '70's their music was a big part of my life. Actually being in that era when they was making all of that wonderful music and appearing on Soul Train, BANDSTAND and all of the variety shows at that time; it all was happening in real time. YT has made it possible to look back and enjoy all of those great proformances. Today's music is just so useless for the most part. RIP MJ :)
No doubt that Michael was the man, but Jackie, and Marlon weren’t exactly a couple of stumble bums!! Those brothers were dancing their butts off!! I definitely think that they should be given more credit and more respect!!! Marlon once said that the choreography for this song was his favorite!! I can see why!!!
He has sooo many signature moves. I can't even count how many he's invented. And artists today, they have no idea what it was like dealing with a mike chord. I was always fascinated watching him perform with it. Michael should have gotten an award for BEST SHOWMAN WITH A MICROPHONE CHORD.
Jackie and Marlon ,were like perfect book ends for Michael ! that's why i feel them touring now in 2022..MJ leaves a big Void! when the 3 of them were in sync on stage preforming , UNMATCHED !! Them performing today with just Marlon and Jackie and Tito..it's like a puzzle missing a major piece !! Michael when they stepping tied it all together! dam we miss MJ!! PERFECTION !!
These were the good old days. I was in love with them in 1970;s and still in love with them to this day. To see them preform first hand is remarkable. I'M glad I was there , didn't realize it would be history. God bless the Jackson family.
Their dancing is soo smooth and flaw less. I love the choreography to this song. I just wish they would have performed it more. I love how michael spins and the cord of the microphone wraps around him LOL and then he jiggles the other way to unwrap the cord.. sooo cute :D LOVE HIM!
I lovee this video.. it's like you can see the young michael...& the older michael together. like 1:53 - 2:03 you can see the young Michael...hand movements...etc... then the rest of the time you see the older Michael..head bob to the left or right...when he just moves around by himself is in the front OH GOSH
Everybody is not replaceable, the Jackson's are irreplaceable, the baddest performers to ever do it, I thought I knew most of there music, this is one of there songs I just recently discovered breathtaking..
Love it , miss Michael, I remember watching the Jackson 5 cartoon growing up , seeing black men with afros in a cartoon was a big deal for me coming up
I love you Michael...You will be buried on my birthday September 3rd. I will celebrate your life on that day too! You are my favorite of all time and I can't stop crying looking at this video. You are amazing!
Man I tell you, the Jackson 5ive was so special to me as a child growing up in the '70's. To see these 5 brothers doing their thing with such sharp moves was a thing to see. I had the pleasure of seeing them a couple of times live, and their performances was out of sight. They could never be duplicated. PERIOD.
Rest assured, that "tangling/untangling" was choreographed, part of Michael's exceptional showmanship. He was dead on it. Remarkably entertaining performance by the brothers!
Amazing version with a nice background!Micheal show again in this performance that he was the most stylish dancer ever!!!In my humble opinion,he was The GrandMaster.Younger generations now have more tatoos than magic moves.
First of all, Papa and Mama Jackson did an AMAZING job raising their children and should be very proud... secondly every Jackson child had the talent to become entertainers and lastly, THEY DID IT AND DID WELL... PERIOD 🙏🏿 and I enjoy and appreciate them ALL... Love them all, RIP brother Michael 💪🏿✌🏿🥰👑💯
These dudes are bad...I was talking to Marlon about the choreography for this song a while ago...it is his favorite...I used to listen to this Moving Violation 8-track all the time back in 74, driving a 1970 Delta 88, living in Indy...I still have the 8-track tape...nobody moves and grooves like The J5...
I remember I couldn’t wait for the new issue of Right On magazine so I could hang the pictures on my wall Watching the Jackson 5 cartoon on Saturday morning and daydreaming about Me an MJ getting married 💜😂
Now this is music... i remember when this song came out..summer of 1974,my sister and i went out to buy it on 45 record. we drove our parnetas c...................razy. love u micheal. thank u kathrine & joe jackson 4 sharing your son and his brothers with us. god bless!!!
I've always felt that his moves were more fluid and sharp during this era.. He was moving effortlessly and the handling of Microphone as if it was never there, nothing could limit him while he was moving not even those mic cables could bind him.. 80s & 90s moves were more aggressive and forced still great though..!
This was on their Moving Violation album. I was in Junior High. The record has so many skips. I need a CD replacement. This is one of my FAVORITE J5 songs. Susie
The greatest performance I ever seen from a group of brothers on point in the 70s the good old days when kids was raise right. them days gone for good. how could any body hate black people. where would the world be with out the Jackson5 the best group make it last 4ever.
What a dance! Dancing machine. We can't imagine. Only beautiful art. Not only singing but also he is doing dance. Very very difficult. So M. J. Is king
The tightest and most synchronized performers ever... They set the bar that has not been matched.
4-Sure
James Brown > The Temptations > Jackson 5 > MJ > New Edition…most synchronized group and solo acts in order of inspiration
Al enterarme como llegaron a esta perfección, realmente me entristeció mucho, creo que con amor también se logra lo perfecto,y no con golpes
Name another 16 year old who can get down like that. .. I'll wait.......
I know ummm ummmm ummm ummmm oh yea ummm ummm ummm damn
Michael was not 16 here
corneil Madison if the year was 1974. He was 16 yrs old.....
Ishmail Barnes yes he was
He was 16 teen when he recorded the song!! It was recorded March 1975 released June of 1975!!
I just want to take a moment to show not just amazement at his dance moves but also the fact that he didn't trip, stumble once over his mic's cord.
He made getting tangled in the cord part of the routine.
The way Mike slid in the front and Jackie moved over
What would we all do ... without your brilliant observation!!
@@warriormanmaxx8991Jermaine is not in the group anymore so he won’t be able to record any more songs until he gets a solo release.
@@keimkei5 no he’s a good teenager 🎶
I tell you these brothers dancing was like silk; so smooth.
Choreography is on point
it's the Jacksons, its no surprise!!!
Michael and Marlon did all their choreography
Mike just goes in and out as he pleases very smoothly.
You can thank Joe Jackson for that
I love the way they move together all in syc
the dance routine was off the chain love it
O
Shoutout to the Dancingest Sibling Marlon for most of that!!
@@2KILLAVILLE Michael obviously the best dancer but marlon is like a inch behind him marlon can dance so good

Carol Burnett knew greatness when she saw it. The Jackson's were amazing, no auto tune either just pure talent.
INCREDIBLE!!! He looks like he’s floating when he dances!!!!

What are the other brothers dancing their asses off? Chopped liver?

Choreographed by Marlon Jackson
He would make the most complex shit look hella simple.
At 1:25 when he wrap himself in the mike then then unwrap himself to the beat is classic
Yes!
Shout out to Marlon, he always put a little extra sauce on his dance moves
Jackie also
Marlon choreographed the groups moves
Completely mesmerized by this performance.
This performance by Michael and his brothers is electrifying!!!
