Calling a club "massive" is a compliment, typically meaning they're successful, have a lot of fans and have a rich history. But the chant at #9 itself saying "are they fuck" means they're being sarcastic and that they're not actually a massive club. (it's sang by Newcastle fans about their rival Sunderland)
There are way better English chants then you reacted too
way better ones for sure, these were pretty lame
Exactly. Even ones like the kiddy family one, or simple ones made up on the spot.
@@garethparry6673you mean your Sister is your Mother...? 😀
Yeah most of these were not great, but Liverpools "allez allez allez" is one of the best imo.... but the video in this montage really downplayed it a lot.
Its funny watching Americans react to them lol
About the #2 song: Emiliano Sala was a footballer who died in a plane crash over the English Channel on his way to England having just signed for English club Leicester City. The song is by Leicester fans showing respect for the player they never got to see play for their team.
True, but it was Cardiff City, not Leicester.
Wasn't it Cardiff not Leicester ?
Sala was a player and was joining an English football club and he died in a plane crash on the way to sign for the club in 2019, so they made a song for him.
Welsh club*
Don't tell Cardiff their an English club!!!
No 2 was Cardiff City who bought a player who died when his plane crashed into the English Channel on his way travelling to the club, it was very tragic.
It is easy! the ultras or other fan club from the Football Team build the song and they sing it on match day in the stadium. First only the ultras oder fan club singing it and the other fans from the club hear it and listen to it and then they learn the lines by every time the ultras oder fan club sing it and then maybe after 1-2 match days the full crown know the song and sing together. Greetings from Germany
In england we use well known tunes to make it easier to remember as well
Where is YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE ?
club is club, like a football club, a fiver, is a five pound note,
Massive means really big in English
No 2 was sang right across the road from where I’m posting this. Emiliano Sala died in a plane crash on his way to join Cardiff City
hehe - on the first one:
adults for £5 and kids for free ... in other words, the only way Sunderland can attract people into the seats is to charge outrageously low prices (it's probably, with inflation, £8 these days ...)
Sunderland, and their "Stadium of Light" is actually a very large club, even though they don't often get into the Premier League to face off against arch rivals, and neighbours, Newcastle United.
No but theyll be battered twice by southern neighbours and 2nd rivals boro this season
Sunderland's a massive club literally means what its supposed to. Sunderland's a massive football club
No it's not, the are they f@ck bit means it's the opposite.
Er...no
No 7 tune is taken from the 1960s song Glad All Over by the Dave Clark 5 (Class act)-they use to stamp to the beat of their song Bits and Pieces with boots specially made and complete with cuban heels. Dread to think what might happen in certain stands if fans think of emulating the DC5 stamping
your number 1 was written by a chap called jamie Webster hes a huge liverpool fc fan
This is obviously a list of the 10 WORST British football chants. Such a poor example!
Number 9 is fans of Newcastle United attacking their nearby rivals Sunderland. They are suggesting their stadium is always empty and their admission prices are cheap because they are not very good. "Club" just means team, for example MUFC = Manchesater United Football Club.
Adults for a fiver is £5 ticket price
Chants are spread like an accurate Chinese whisper, just hearing it word of mouth
i was there in canton end in cardiff city stadium in the 2 nd one rip emiliano sala
How can you not know what a fiver is when next to it they've got "Kids for Free". Surely you can deduce that it means adult tickets cost £5 and kids get in free 🤣
Biting my tongue as I was at No.4 at Craven Cottage albeit on the losing side
Usually social media
Most of it is spontaneous. One bloke starts then gradually more and more join in until there’s 20/30 thousand at it. And this vid is a very poor example, there is some piss funny ones out there 👍🏻
In America it feels like you do everything for fun and entertainment. In Europe the football ⚽️ is religion. Everybody live for their teams. We love our teams and this game with our hearts . This is why European atmosphere will always be better than the America's atmosphere. Sad to say it , because I like USA , but you are not anywhere near Europe when we talk about football ,stadiums and atmosphere and love toward your favorite team.
Massive means really big itsnot slang, it's English
Rangers v celtic the best atmosphere in Europe
It's funny how Americans refer to the fans as a "community"......in England irs a much tighter bind than a community.....were family!!!!
The adults for a fiver, kids for free references Adam Johnson may he rot in hell
No it means they let adults into the ground for a fiver and kids in for free 🤦♂️
Should rotting in prison but he releases
Have a look at The British Crusade Against Slavery
Ha ha haaaaa
The songs are made up by fans. Then before a game it will be sent to a group of hardcore fans who learn it, and once it’s sung once it spreads like Covid-19. Fans going, UA-cam etc. or even on the tv and fabs pick up the lyrics very fast.
What a load of bollocks it doesn't get sent to a group of fans.
Never gets sent to groups lol
Don't talk shit
Massive means big.
Mo Sala is still alive by the way.
Check out Scottish chants, we have the best supporters in Britain mate, aint no pyro aint no partyyyyyy 🔴⚪️🔵🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🔵⚪️🔴🏴
a massive club isnt british slang it literally is a big club is what it means do you seriously not know what massive means or club?
Americans don't refer to their grid-iron football teams as clubs, thats probably were the confusion is
People make these chants up and people just pick up the words.
That’s not testosterone it’s cocaine.
The first chant is too the tune of a song by Tight Fit in the 80s that's where it would have come from I should think .
Everyone knows the chants and songs because football is life here in UK and they are sung week in and week out . Americans really can't or don't do songs from what I have seen .
City have no history 😂😂😂
Do Argentinian chants 🤣 or Mexican clubs
There’s some better chants out there than these! Give them a look.
Some of the chants have been around for decades. Sometimes lyrics are shared online. Usually, people pick the songs up in the stadium.
U should (,react to this ) with an English person so that their could explain the chants. This is Jo Americans should do your politicians. Make your voices heard!!!!
The fans of soccer teams are organiced in fan clubs and they come up with those lyrics in those clubs and then they pass them along to everybody.
No they don't. That's utter nonsense. The fans make it up on the spur of the moment and it just catches on and spreads
@@peterburry2531 I know for a fact that the frankfurt fans came up with their uefa cup chant in the fan clubs. Maybe some of the chants happen in the moment, but the more elaborate ones are pre prepared.
@@achimsinn6189 Well that might be true in Frankfurt, and in the rest of Germany, but this is a video about fans in the UK. Here things happen very differently. The fans are very spontaneous and tend to make up humorous songs during the games. Some catch on and others don't... The ones that catch on often get copied and adopted by opposing teams's fans and it spreads that way.
There made up song I know because I go every week #blackpoolFC

Please my friend. I understand reaction videos have stops & breaks in them. But please, please, please try not to stop & start so much. Every few seconds means you are losing out on the full pleasure to be had. And by the way. They are some of the worst football chants you could have picked to Listen to. A better example. A few years ago, a player called Adam Johnson was jailed for 6yrs for child abuse. He played for Sunderland united. A premier league club, the top league, who's home ground is called 'the stadium of light.' He's a "Nonce", a paedophile. What americans call a chomo. So he was sent down for "noncing". Hear the chants sang because him, when Sunderland played. Some chants are already known by all. Some are made up at the time. Peace to all.
Worst chants ever heard haha
you should watch alot of things tbf,
