This is an outstanding video, Robbin!!! I used this video to create an offer landing page followed with a YOU'VE GOT MAIL Landing page which I added a simple contact form so they can request a 15 min Consultation. I posted the link to the FREE Article landing page which I sent to a few friends as a focus group. Later I will post the FREE Offer Landing page to my social media accounts. A send to appropriate contacts I already have. Two questions. First, when my focus group member enters the email and hits the "Download Article" Button they did receive the download the first time. However, after a tweak to two the the email text the link in the email did still bring them to the offer landing page again as before, they entered their email, and clicked on the "Download Article" Button, however there was NO Download of the Article this time. Is this a one time per download user click or should I be searching for a clitch? Second question, subscriber completing the simple contact form does result in me receiving an email with the contact form info which is AWESOME. Is there a way for this from to update subscriber record? Or, at the very least generate a list in Mailerlite or a spreadsheet in my Google Drive. Again, thanks sooo much is was very helpful!!! WOW

Robin, thanks for getting back quickly much appreciated. I did reach out to Mailerlite they were very helpful and looks like I was able to resolve the issue. On another note regarding Marketing Permissions, seems the email sign-up before the Yes/Nope permissions is a little problematic. When they hit the Download BUTTON they right to the YOU GOT MAIL landing page before the get to the permissions. Seems the permissions would be better situated ahead of the "Enter your email address" and button. What do you think? And, would you know how to make that adjustment. Again thanks for the tutorial. @@creatoregg

great info about - $46,517 penalty. I will request the convertkit feature to mailerlite and mailpoet. Just had one question for you- if we live outside of EU/USA etc. how will they enforce this penalty?
I am not aware of the means by which they would implement it as I haven't conducted any research specifically on that. If you are genuinely seeking answers, there may be some online examples available for you to explore...

I am blind and so use a screen reader.
I didn't like the messy layout to mailchimp and found it time consuming to use.
Shame.
Can you recommend the one that has lots of features free or paid is fine as long is it's symple to use and has lots of useful features that are organised nicely.
I like apple style apps because they're neet.
If mailer light is the one I'll get that one.
But if there's one better I commented to double check that.

Why did you create another landing page for the thank you page? What's the difference between that and the success page that you mentioned?
If you watch at this timestamp ua-cam.com/video/7oRw-dajo8A/v-deo.html, I explain why having a thank you page is important instead of only a success message.
A success message says: thank you for subscribing. If you create an entirely new page (what we call the thank you page), you can utilize it. See the timestamp for an example.

@@creatoregg when i linked the landing page to the confirmation page to deliver something free, the button of the confirmation page doesn't take you to the thank you page and I couldn't find the link of the thank you page or even find where to place it because the confirmation button doesn't have a place so you can place the link.
@@salmasaleh6833 I understand that it may be confusing at times. I had the same issue. Anyway, let's ensure we are discussing the same thing. The confirmation page refers to the page where individuals will be directed after clicking the "confirm my subscription" button in the confirmation email. Before I can help you, are you using the 'new' Mailerlite or the old Mailerlite? If you're unsure, you're likely using the new version.
if i have a client and making a newsletter with him and sending automation for him, with Mailerlite, how do i send emails for him like do i put his email for the sender and how do i get access to his email list.
Does your client already has a mailerlite account? If not, then you can create a mailerlite account for him. You can also add different users in the account and give those users permissions to send emails for example. The most straightforward way to do this is just to use the log in details from your client and set up the mailerlite account for your client and when sending emails you can do that in that account.
Hello. I am not happy about the idea of letting people know my physical address. As you said, as long as you are helping your clients this shouldn't be a problem. Should I both with the physical address?
Hello! I believe the chances are slim of you getting such a penalty if you genuinely want to help your subscribers; in other words, if you're not a spammer. BUT, still, preferably, you want to hold up your end of the bargain and make sure you enter a correct physical address where people can contact you.
Do they have a mobile version for when you want to send your subscribers a quick email?

Great tutorial but I am stuck on adding text in front of the photo. i've tried to make it transparent so the text shows in front of the photo but it just doesn't want to. I add the photo then drag a text box above the photo (the text box automatically jumps to above or below the picture) After typing a title I then select transparent but the text won't move to the photo. I've been trying to figure out how to add text over my image block with little success its driving me mad :/

If that's the owner of that particular newsletter then yes. You can't use a 'random' address of a company that isn't related to the newletter. I hope this answer helps. Let me know if you have questions!
why did you say that if I don't have new subscribers daily I'm in trouble? what if I'm satisfied with my current number of subscribers?
I was primarily considering this from the perspective of my own business, where I specialize in selling puppy training books. In my line of work, attracting new customers is crucial for generating book sales. However, I understand that if your business operates in a completely different industry, this may not directly apply to you. What is your business if you don't mind me asking?

Hello, can you send an sms with this software?
Mailerlite doesn't offer sms services. I believe it's called mailersend that allows you to do sms (haven't tried it though).
They don't offer any support on their free plans 🙄.
That's correct. Only for the first 30 days. That's a common trend amoung growing software companies. When they're small they offer 24/7 support to everyone. But once they become bigger they delete such features. I understand it's annoying!
