Absolutely a big applause for the band and the leader, they just enjoyed it so much. She is fantastic and so is the backvocals ..just love it!!! RIP Donna Summer loved you in my teenyears and now still enjoy your music.
Donna is one the few artist that can get a crowd like this out of their seats all dressed up and dancing like they were young again! LOL! I could be wrong, so if anyone got a link to the Noble Peace Prize concert with the audience out of their seats dancing like this, please share with us all. Go Donna Summer!
Till the day she passed Donna Summer's voice never gave out, she sang every song just as amazing as when she first did them, they even have a sexier quality after so many years. r.i.p Donna summer, you were truly one of the greatest singers of all time.
Is it us or does it feel like the orchestra enjoyed playing the music just as much as we enjoyed the performance? There some passion and hot stuff going on with the orchestra and background signers! 😃 😄👍
its with absolute confidence i can say Donna Summer was the greatest female voice of the last 50 years and for many years to come. She was so under recognized as the constricting label of Disco Queen. In reality she was so much more. Her music is eternal This is a sad loss but the soul of Donna Summer will never die.
Same voice and power in the 70s..I was about 10. Then she disappeared, never to be heard of her whereabout. Then she made a comeback when I'm in my 40s and her voice is still the same with that power and stage presence. She is incredible. RIP Donna Summer.
No one will come even remotely close to Donna's talent! Unique luscious, sexy, hefty quality (too bad she never officially recorded musicals) was unique. The "Last dance" excerpt on Y.T. warms up the audience in an unprecedented way! Musicality, power, natural ease, humility and generosity will be missed. Here, she wasn't in top vocal form, yet, it's MESMERIZING. You've given us so much Love. Let's hope the Angels up there treat you well and the way you deserve. RIP.
a true talent a true legend class A all the way...when i was dancing to these songs back in the late seventies who knew she would sound as good or better than those recordings. That is the mark of a true talent. We won't forget you Donna...you truly were part of the soundtrack of our lives. RIP
What a powerful performance!! If this was 2009 I think she was like 60yrs old here, and her voice still sounded amazing. Even though now that I am older (48) I love all the 70's disco, funk, soul type stuff, I never really went to any of these disco type shows. I mostly went to see blues and classic rock type shows all growing up. Man I wish I would have had a chance to see her, what a talent she was :(
No she does not. Tina still sounds good but so did Donna. Tina herself said she started having trouble hitting the notes which is why she is retired. Both have great talent.
Jens Wendelboe is the conductor here, he loved Donna, and loved working with her. Whenever she did shows that used a full orchestra he was her first choice to conduct them. Just look at the passion in his work, and the intensity on his face, he was not faking it.
The surprising thing about Donna Summer is when you got to see her live she never moved much to her own music. I started seeing her in shows in 1977. It was always a surprise to people in the audience. But she moved people move across the world for decades. She seems winded here. Her voice and music is Timeless. RIP. xo
Espectacular!!! Donna Summer!!! La reina por siempre!!!
Donna Summer will be missed and I had the great honor of see her live in person up close and she was such a beautiful lady with a great big voice....I so glad she is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.....
Did you know that Donna was the sweetest and most beautiful artist I had the honor to meet! And his smile is not just a facade, it remains and has impressed us all... Why not follow his example. So let's smile my friends...
It has been the Queen of Music, and who of us do not dance with music and joy of that time! I can only remember that wonderful time! I had the opportunity to see Donna live that experience! thanks Donna....................

Fabulous, performance!

Can see the whole band was working their best on par with Donna‘s powerful vocal. The chemistry is explosives.
What band is that?
Absolutely a big applause for the band and the leader, they just enjoyed it so much. She is fantastic and so is the backvocals ..just love it!!! RIP Donna Summer loved you in my teenyears and now still enjoy your music.

SPECTACULAR! She's still singing her hits in the same vocal range as she did 40 years ago!!! And sounding fantastic.
What a great singer, not many singers can sing that good in live performance. Her voice will make sure she's never forgotten, she will live forever
Donna Summer got Norwegians to get up and dance. Amazing.
I agree 100%!!! I thought the same thing. I lived there for three years and understand.

The thing that I like the most from this concert is that all the musicians and the director had a pleasure face of being playing for Donna Summer

Her kindness is evident in her every move. Her talent is otherworldly brilliant. She is simply amazing.

She was tearing that stage up!!! Get it Donna!!! Ain't Lost a step at all!!! R.I.P. Mrs. Summers.
Wow!!!! Does anyone else notice how effortless she is performing. Out of his world.

I love how she throws in the Benatar phrase "hit me with your best shot" near the end of Hot Stuff.
Because she could rock. She was in a rock and roll band before she became famous.
