Love launching from the Sargent public ramp amd heading to Caney creek. Lots of water movement and guts. If your feeling adventurous hitting the south shoreline and moving west has good marshes.
Sargent is such a beautiful fishery, and pretty much an unknown area outside of coastal Texas. Thanks for taking us along this morning, and you take care of yourself. Hope you feel better real soon.🙂
I have a Shimano scorpion dc And I’m needing to replace the bearing that goes in the breaking system knob or whatever it’s called lol. Do you know where I can buy this parts? I checked Digitaka but I didn’t see bearings.
Great fishing in Sargent! I'm in Freeport & it's well worth the drive. Especially now since I just put my deposit down for 2 Old Town Salty 120 pdl's from Line Cutterz I'll be down there next week. Gonna run offshore (weather permitting) with our Line Cutterz Group. They've been snagging Tarpon out from the Mouth of Brazos about 1/2 mile out
man I’ve been wanting to go to Sargent for a long time but alas I have no boat and probably will not for a while yet. I wanted to go for no other reason than because I looked at google maps wondering what was south of Quintana and Bryan Beach but before North Matagorda or Aransas or Palacios. Ran into Sargent on the map. Like, there’s isolated beaches and stuff out there, south of Bryan Beach and south of the Brazos River mouth, but north of Sargent. Beaches that apparently not even any roads go to. So my “dream” is to get a boat and do a fishing and camping adventure along one of those isolated beaches out there.

I had the “new” variant of the ‘coof nineteen’ back in July and fortunately, had all the preventative meds that the media hated for no reason prescribed to me quickly and my fever only lasted one day. Was somewhat fatigued and sluggish for a few days after after, however.
I've been fishing with the JDM metanium and Zillion I picked up a couple months ago from Digi. Both are fantastic. What fishing with those have shown me is how great the Curado 150mgl is. It can do everything those other 2 can. The curado 150mgl might not be as highly refined, but its just as capable.
I go to sargent a lot with the family. But I have never caught anything in that stretch where you caught the first flounder. Was this recent or is this an older video?
great fishing, but yeah you right, its a butt hole down there, the county doesn't spend any money on it that is allocated for it, but they blew their wad building that corkscrew. someones brother in law musta owned a concrete company. lol. and you know they laughing while eating steak and lobster on our dollar. the public park and boat ramp a little further down is a unwiped starfish also. the county and the governor of texas should be 'embarr-assed' of this for a showing of a texas beach town for visiting travelers. most or all will never come back.

Glad you doing better. That is a cool spot. Went in Spring but went into the narrow channels no bites. Will try your areas.
