3:42 Its likely the fruit of a Pandanus tree, commonly known as a screw pine. Distinguishing durians and pandanus fruits only by appearance is pretty hard. If you see one IRL: durians have a strong smell, while pandanus fruits have no pungent odor.
5:38 Bananas grow really well in florida actually. There tend to be a lot of plantations down south by homestead and then just in people's backyards as well around miami
It's very insane Oscar that you do good on these , Keep it up you didn't do that bad like always man I love these keep them up. And stay awesome like always man.
Edit: misunderstood rubbish as plant matter and not actual trash 😂 anyway, fun fact still kept below While it probably doesn’t have a large representation on street view, a majority of South Florida’s natural landscape outside of all the swamp/wetlands are called “scrub” and look a lot like that photo. Chaotic mix of trees, shrubs, on very drained soil. In areas with population, of both the wetlands and scrub have been cleared out for the development. But preserves and sone undeveloped non-swampy areas kinda just look like that!
“This shadow being cast to the south makes me think we’re in the southern hemisphere here, I could this being Columbia” There is a helpful mnemonic to know where the equator is in South America. It’s called Ecuador 😂
@@Hugoxagaming To be fair, he messes up north/south surprisingly often. Even when physically standing on the street in Adelaide (IRL Geoguessr) he proclaimed he could see the Sun to the south. He usually means the right way round, though.

Sun direction is also not reliable between the tropics. In the northern hemisphere summer, the sun is in the north in, say, Peru, and in the southern hemisphere summer, the sun is in the south in, say, Guatemala
Good day zigzag, could you please do a video about how to differenciate between west ern and eastern part of the US? It is something, that I struggle a lot and I couldn‘t find anything online.
I wonder if super-difficult rounds could be made that are located in the middle of large cities. Something really confusing that looks like a completely different city somewhere else.
The plant that looks like a pineapple is a screw pine, common here in Thailand by the sea. I live 8 degrees north of the equator, but 3 or 4 months a year, the sun is north of us. This is true anywhere within the tropics
You can have Sun on the north on northern hemisphere if you're south of Tropic of Cancer and it's correct time of the year. By the way, you can have Sun on the south in northern half of Australia, can't you?
In the context of Google Street view, I guess the photos are seldom taken during local night time. But if any hour and day of the year is allowed, I think you can have the sun slightly northwest or northeast anywhere on the planet. An extreme case is in the far north, like 1 m from the north pole, where you during a 24 hour period in summer would see the sun passing over all compass directions (it never goes below the horizon). (Despite the mention of a compass, I mean true geographic north, not magnetic north.)
@erikstv7802 but that is completely different to the fact that within the tropics the sun goes across the north side of the sky part of the year and south at other times of year. Ie at the equator the sun goes directly overhead twice a year, then half of the remaining year to the north, half to the south
All the rubbish in Florida isn’t a surprise. I’m an Aussie living in south Florida and yeah you see rubbish on the sides of smaller roads quite a lot unfortunately
That first plonk was INSANE bro

Hi
hi
I agree!
This is me on every round on your new map.
ikr🤣

Is that not a jackfruit? Cuz they are VERY common in SA
Not tryna correct you, that’s just what came to my mind first
Hi
Cant wait for the Geosmeller DLC
@@Hugoxagaming a different name for the pandanus fruit it is the hala fruit, dont know if this helps but it might clear up some things

I saw the image and said "This is Brazil"
MY BRAZILIAN BRAIN IS PROGRAMMED TO SEE THIS FIRST SECOND. LMAO

this was an emotionally traumatic experience for me

Thank you for the opposite definition of a stereotype lmao
that first guess was insane
Every single round except the Turkey, Russia and Italy were in the tropics wow
Also I think the road at 15:50 was in one of the world cup qualifier games
"No tropical locations" would be an interesting caveat for the next episode of this series to mix things up

"too much rubbish for the US" is crazy, there's so much littering here unfortunately
especially here in Florida lol, very much a careless state when it comes to littering, it's all along our highways a lot
