Revolting Revolver66, Some of them had bad attitudes, thought the laborers were nothing more than crap and wouldn't do anything to make their job easier.
Chris just fantastic. Your assistant or ground-man we used to call them! when I worked the gantry crane on the railway is worth his weight in gold if you can get a good one. You sure have one I can see you know each others movements and what you are pretty well thinking wow he is a keeper for sure. great video Chris for sure.
Thought most culverts had holes in top.. we always dropped a chain though and stuck a 1 inch wide, long bar through them. You know your stuff tho was just wandering around UA-cam. Good skills on the ex. Nice movement on all I watched. No wasted effort. Fuel is high!
Man the way you can roll those concrete pipes with the teeth and bottom of the bucket without completely annihilating them is awesome. Started watching this channel just a few days ago or so and im learning alot of those small things to move dirt more efficiently. Great job man keep up the good work
Great teamwork. I like the way you watch out for Tim’s fingers and toes. They way he moves around the bucket shows me he trusts you. Take this as a compliment.
It is poetry in motion. It's every bit as artistic as musicians playing in a combo; each one knows and understands what the others are doing and they accommodate & coordinate with each other. It's a delight to watch you all work.
Tim's getting good at chaining the centre of the pipe. The first time you videoed him doing it the chain had to be readjusted a few times before you could lift.
Great video guys....I hope you keep Tim happy financially (wages) wise has he seems to be a great right hand to have.....work is always easier with great employee`s...Stay Safe
Mighty fine, top shelf work Chris. You rode this horse before!. Good job Tim! You’re learning from the best. Ps; thanks for taking time out of your Sunday to edit n post this.
Really enjoying the way you put your camera so that all can see what the bucket is doing, not the back of the operators head while he tells you what is trying to do, anyway Great video and job. Very good 👍👍👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
dumb logger question... the sealing goo (tape?) ya all is using wouldn't it be easier to put in the female end while its suspended? I've never installed concrete pipe, just steel and plastic
Chris,do they still make that "pelican neck" tool that's designed to lay pipe? The way ur doing it is how I see other contractors putting down pipe too...just wondering..
36:45 ... Timmy puts his fingers in the danger zone. I'm sure he was well aware of what he was doing, and they didn't stay there too long, but could have been an unpleasant experience :)
We have always had issues when connecting to older pipe in my area we had a two company’s that sold out every 5 years it seem like . So it was like you always had a different bell size to where it just wouldn’t seat properly .
Nice work..but you guys need a better technique than chains...here in Guyana 🇬🇾...we use a different approach to those jobs..weld up a fork that goes inside...
I once had a pipe laying job, got 5 cents a foot, & was paid the first of the next month. If l got that for all pipe laid over my 34 yrs l wouldn't have to win the lottery!
Chris, just going back and re-watching this. What happened at 24:10 and 24:50 - looks like the same piece of pipe connected twice? There was seal on the first time - how come it needed to be done again? Or am I seeing things.
I like all of your videos, and you do, do good work but I believe it is illegal to use a chain to set pipe. Should be a choker along with a hook and safety clip on bucket. Are you using kent seal instead of gaskets and lube?
Excellent operator and ground work skills shown. Great videos & great teamwork!
Been watching this channel since 09, better than TV.
I use to work with a couple of Underground crews and if any of them had an operator like you, life would have been dream!

Cuties
I don't mind work.....I can watch it for hours.
10esseeTony - We make a great team for Chris & Crew 👌
AMEN!
You’re lazy
Yes!!! Pitcher of Gin & Tonic too!!
@@whobee8868 Why do feel compelled to make so many dumb ass comments.
Strange that so other contractor walked away but money in your pockets is always a good thing. You and Tim seam to work well together on any job.
I see those two way radios you bought are working great
He should get a radio sponser
They’re still charging
Can Timmy use a two way radio lol he is so laid back.
John Holm I think they use them when they r in to separate equipment
I love watching you guys work so smoothly together. Went together almost as if you knew what you were doing!
Beautiful work!
Thanks.
Great team Chris and video . I enjoy these pipe jobs👏👏👏👏👍🇬🇧Thanks.

Timmy man handling those pipe!! Y’all makin it look easy! ✌🏻🙏 from Va 🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜
Chris you are a professor with the excavator, God bless you!!!
The two of you work well together. You have a very gentle touch with that big machine.
Man the way you can roll those concrete pipes with the teeth and bottom of the bucket without completely annihilating them is awesome. Started watching this channel just a few days ago or so and im learning alot of those small things to move dirt more efficiently. Great job man keep up the good work
Smooth and easy, that's the way its' done. This is the way pipe laying should always be done.
Good job guys!
You make it look so easy! Great teamwork! 👍🏻
There are 10 smooth operators in this world and I bet 9 of them send you Christmas cards. Smooth man smooth.
Great teamwork. I like the way you watch out for Tim’s fingers and toes. They way he moves around the bucket shows me he trusts you. Take this as a compliment.
Chris you make lining up the pipes look so easy ..with young Tim’s help of course 😉
Love to see the entire work completed.
Professionally done, nice looking week's work!
It is poetry in motion. It's every bit as artistic as musicians playing in a combo; each one knows and understands what the others are doing and they accommodate & coordinate with each other. It's a delight to watch you all work.
Nicely done!
Thanks for the video.
I’m 14 and watch your videos now I know how to do most things with an excavator
Tim's getting good at chaining the centre of the pipe. The first time you videoed him doing it the chain had to be readjusted a few times before you could lift.
Could watch this all day, but
I’m getting therapy,
so it won’t bother me 👍🏼
Sometimes the best "therapy" is a cup of coffee or a little whiskey with a splash of water . . .
But, hey, this IS therapy........just watching......
Watching you two work together is very satisfying:-)
I got to excited when I seen how long this video was! Thanks Chris
Chris that is a very job wel done , Love it .
Awesome video Christopher
Thank you!
Good eye on watching the ground man and telling him to watch your fingers!! Safety first great job like always brother!!!
Pipe laying are some of my favorite videos.
Great video guys....I hope you keep Tim happy financially (wages) wise has he seems to be a great right hand to have.....work is always easier with great employee`s...Stay Safe
You guys really work well together.
Hello chris you always do amazing work, and you have really good workers, hard to find
Nice job.i had to lay a couple hundred feet of that in an active creek one time. Picky stuff; no laser
Hey I'm from Trinidad and Tobago love all your work .could u open a class to teach escavator operating please.
Nice job report!
Pretty work, nice outcome.
Amazing how quiet that machine is.
Great video Chris enjoyed watching
Amazing again Chris setting concrete pipe and box nice job Chris 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥👌👍😎
Y'all dont use a sling and keeper? Or ramnek for the joints?
brilliant viewing, tim's a great banksman!
Man, you put those pipes together like they were Lego pieces. Amazing.
do you air or water test the runs to prove the pipe run for no leaks ?
You guys do good work.
Mighty fine, top shelf work Chris. You rode this horse before!. Good job Tim! You’re learning from the best.
Ps; thanks for taking time out of your Sunday to edit n post this.
Nice job there Chris! :-)
SHOULD GET A SWIVEL HOOK ...... MAKES LIFE A HELL OF A LOT EASIER
Really enjoying the way you put your camera so that all can see what the bucket is doing, not the back of the operators head while he tells you what is trying to do, anyway Great video and job. Very good 👍👍👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
nice safe work Chris and Tim.
Look out for the GRADE ROD ! LOL. Nice job Chris !
Good to see the teamwork happing, also young man following safety protocol in wearing his hard hat while under the working equipment.
Great job and I like the videos keep it up
Bam !! Bam !! Like a Glove , You guys make it look to easy Chris !! Hella !! Operator you are Chris... Have a Great Evening !!
Nice clear video !!!
dumb logger question... the sealing goo (tape?) ya all is using wouldn't it be easier to put in the female end while its suspended? I've never installed concrete pipe, just steel and plastic
Great work Guys
Amazing what is involved with your projects. It looked like the mud dried quite a bit. Is that so?
No. Still sloppy as ever
Love the videos one of my dream jobs👍
Go apply
Pretty cool work.
Glad to see Chris laying pipe rather than getting fudge on his shaft. lol
You are an artist for sure. Years ago I saw a video of a guy picking up a raw egg with his bucket and thumb, I would lay money on you to do it
I'm surprised there wasn't a big old snake sitting in one of those pipes, since they were in the woods like that.
There was but it got scared and slithered away
Another good job well done
Awesome video thanks
We always used a wire choker or the mesh slings chokers work great sometimes they get knarly from belling em up
Do t you have a quick lease hitch so you can lift stuff without the bucket attached?
Chris,do they still make that "pelican neck" tool that's designed to lay pipe? The way ur doing it is how I see other contractors putting down pipe too...just wondering..
They still make them but it's one more item that you spend money on for a very limited return.
Chris l see you have been practicing, you're finding
the holes on the first try!!!
Only the ones that have hair
Great video like always. Just next time please choke the pipe with the chain. Id hate to see the pipe slip out and crush ole Tim. love the channel.
38 minutes. I actually needed a toilet break. Love the long videos Chris. Cheers.
Quit drinking during video sessions and you won’t need a potty break
Do you seal the connections with ram neck (tar strips)
Have you ever put the camera in the pipe when you pick and install it? Might make a cool shot!
never though of it honestly ha
Also you need a swivel hook. They are well worth the investment.
Nice work you could have been a surgeon
You need your self a little front end loader
Nice work..but you guys need a better technique than chains...here in Guyana 🇬🇾...we use a different approach to those jobs..weld up a fork that goes inside...
You the man Chris.
So the reason for the bend is to slow the flow down for errosen control?
Also to direct the flow away, one more stick of pipe would have been nice to get it farther away as well.
Just curious, why not plastic n-12 pipe? Just seems so much easier to work with and lasts as long if not longer. Maybe I'm wrong.
Good job.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Did you bring your buckets of groit?
I once had a pipe laying job, got 5 cents a foot, & was paid the first of the next month. If l got that for all pipe laid over my 34 yrs l wouldn't have to win the lottery!
You have so many different soils in your area of operations.
Chris, just going back and re-watching this. What happened at 24:10 and 24:50 - looks like the same piece of pipe connected twice? There was seal on the first time - how come it needed to be done again? Or am I seeing things.
Saw that paper are u using like kit seal material like u use on stacking a manhole or barrel sections instead.of a rubber
tims the man
A railway sleeper is handy to put up against the pipe and crown the bucket to push it home dose a great job on bigger 1050 pipes
Man another stick or two of that pipe and you might get the hang of it!! LOL just kidding! You got mad skills bro! Great job as always!
Nice!!
I would like to know when do you decide to use plastic pipe, concrete pipe, or steel culvert pipe.
Now that was cool
Imaging unhooking those chains on the box with an operator who you didn't trust.
Why would you work with anybody you don’t trust??
Obviously there are a few folks who weren't out there working during the last Recession. Any work was good work.
Another good “day in the life of”...job. Also, good job Timmy - you don’t get enough credit by viewers.
good operator if you notice his bucket moves as little as possible it is less hard on the boshing and therefore less wear
I like all of your videos, and you do, do good work but I believe it is illegal to use a chain to set pipe. Should be a choker along with a hook and safety clip on bucket. Are you using kent seal instead of gaskets and lube?
