Why did you run the signal through a VCA first? Be honest pls.

Fine control over gain staging, throughout the whole second half of the video it’s not being used. What are you trying to imply asking me to be honest?

@@AiynZahevSounds Sorry - I was being a bit cheekily overdramatic. I heard that the FX Aid distorts in an unpleasant way if the signal is hot. Did you experience any of that by the way?

@@piotr803 Ok no worries. Yes you'll hear clipping if you go in too hot so you'll typically want to have an attenuator to hand when necessary.
