Yup a little weight, good tires and some common sense you'll be fine. I am pushing 50 and have the first 4x4 daily now.
Bolt some extra cylinder heads to the bed and go.

wow! i live in Newfoundland, Canada and the current temperature here is -2C or 28F at 8:10pm and you currently have more snow than i do !!! but that will change soon i`m sure, lol
