From a BMW owner for the last 10 years owning a 2007 E92 335i manual, 2009 E92 M3 DCT, 2014 435I MSport with MPPK (for those that don't know what that is its BMW's upgraded ECU and intake and warrantied by them to boost the power up) I can give my honest feedback. I was disappointed that it didn't offer DCT on this 400 red sport, but I will say the transmission is formidable and good enough for daily driving. Don't listen to the numb minded reviewers you see everywhere on UA-cam, they're a bunch of knobs who have unrealistic expectations because their minds become numb from being exposed to super cars that are above 100k or even 500k and their reviews are skewed because of it. I have to admit that after owning bmw for 10 years and even turning down the Mercedes C43 AMG to stick with BMW, it says a lot that I went ahead and purchased a 400 red sport. I admit bmw does spoil the driver , but lately bmw isn't setting the bar anymore allowing everyone else to catch them or beat them. I was considering the M4 but to pay 83k for a well decently equipped M4 over 53k for a base 400 red sport with premium package. I'm sorry but paying 30k more for an M4 is not going to feel that much better on the road daily driving. The power the red Sport has is more than what you need on these roads. The M4 to really try to outperform the Q60 on a public road your seriously playing with fire on losing your drivers license plus jail time. If you compare them on the track like most of the UA-cam morons do then yes you'll feel some superiority but again it's not lights out superior unless you are a professional driver that can squeeze out the extra engineering out of it. For a good to average driver you can squeeze out of the red sport on a daily drive all that would out of a M4. Regardless whether you are purchasing or leasing, do yourself a favor and spare your dollars for something else. Also by the way my Q60 turns more heads than any of my previous BMWs ever did and all of them were modded with high end performance wheels and carbon exterior accessories, those cars people on the streets loved, but this one has made employees come out of restaurants I had dinner at, no one has ever done that for any of my past cars. I was surprised to be honest didn't think that would've happened. So point being, this car delivers all that you could ever want and has ton of after market potential if that's your thing. Hands down red sport is the best bang for the buck if you negotiate the right way and you skip out on all the extra packages. All you need is the premium package, cargo net, radiant emblem , lit kick plates, that's usually how it comes equipped from the delivery. That's all you need! Believe me! All my BMW's were fully loaded so I have high expectations for options and interior, but this car comes loaded with everything bmw nickels and dimes your for, and it can be said the same for the rest of the German competitors. That's my take hopefully that helps someone out who's on the fence. I know I was on the fence, but after taking one for the weekend I had no problem putting my signature on that line when I went back to the dealer. The Bose system really kicks ass and best part it's not an option they charge for, it's standard, learn a thing or two bmw, Mercedes, Audi!!! Also I had Harmon Kardon upgraded sound systems on all my BMW's and this Bose can go toe to toe with it.
No they don't come stock for the sports exhaust, however you can order it from their website for like $500 and from the videos I've seen the sound is definitely worth the price. Coming from bmw this is dirt cheap! Plus infinit has a 25% for new owners for accessories and you can't take that discount on that part or carbon fiber accessories or other stuff you may want that they offer.
I share a similar story after falling in the Break My Wallet pit also. Overrated cars if you ask me. Research what Kaizen in Japanese means, its part of Japanese corporate culture. Basically means to create efficient products from the beginning to minimize any future waste along with using the least wasteful ways to produce a car. Now thats what i call engineering. Germany Engineering is hype unless leased. Some people in my family have german cars but after my E39 i suggested everyone lease theres.
Faraz Shah owning a BMW past warranty makes you sweat from nervous anxiety, cause of something ever goes wrong it'll be hard to diagnose and it's going to cost you money before you can even find out what the problem is, once you find out what's wrong with it, it'll cost you more money to fix it and hope that they got it right the first time or it'll cost you even more. I love bmw but that's the reality
I've had my red sport 400 for a couple of weeks and can say that it's fantastic. The car will turn the wheels without turning the steering wheel to keep it in the lanes. I love that it has full speed cruise control for traffic jams. It accelerates like a beast, and the all wheel drive is a huge plus.
CZP Concept Z Performance of Phoenix, AZ tested their Q60 RS 400 on their Mustang Dyno. They published the results on 01/04/2017. Temps in Phoenix around that time were 60 degrees F and 60% average relative humidity (not as dry as normal). They recorded 354hp and 353ft-lb of torque AT THE WHEELS (rear wheel drive). Accounting for driveline loss for an automatic, that puts power somewhere around 415-440hp at the crank!
I own a red sport awd and it's a monster. When I test drove it I didn't even know it had direct adaptive steering and I had a Amg Mercedes coupe before this car. Don't listen to reviewers go drive one and they are even more beautiful in person. I love this review it's a sports car drive it like one good job my man you drive looked you stole it.

I'm exactly one week into mine -- black obsidian on gallery white interior. I did NOT get the Direct-Adaptive Steering (DAS). It feels so much better than the "detached" steering. And, yes, it's fun, fast, nimble, and feels like a 2500lb. car. I swear this has more than 400bhp at the crank... I've driven many cars with 400bhp, and this thing kills it!! tigerbiterhater You can't go wrong with either. Both have great engines, great build quality, both are reliable, both look fantastic. At the end of the day it cones down to interior preference. Personally, I like the Q (I feel it's a bit more. Luxurious...while the RC is a bit sportier).
andrew rankin What makes you think that? My Q60 Red Sport is being delivered next month. The Q60 RS is ~4000 lb, 400 hp, 3.0 v6, coupe. The GSF is ~4000 lb, 460 hp, 5.0 V8, sedan. I'm just saying they aren't really worth comparing.
on some Reviews it Is said that the DAS system Is a disappointment . What are your thoughts on this?. I Am thinking on buying this car and it seems that you really had a good time 😊. great Review !!!
Impressive car, for sure. For that price, you could have gotten a 2018 Audi RS3, though. You could drive like that in the rain and not spin out in one of those.
I really like the fact that you put the camera towards the road and not you like you understand that we don’t want to watch videos of middle aged dudes talking in the car we want to see what the CARS LOOKS LIKE GOING DOWN THE ROAD
240 ZOOM haha. Agreed. You gotta check out new q60 reviews. Adds external cams and gopros. Never gonna be all about my face on this channel tho! I dont even wanna see my own paunchy mug in the mirror.. let alone on hd video:)
You should have given us a tour of the car. Outdoor/ Indoor. Then it would have been a complete review. Thanks anyway. I really like this specific one in that silver but I like the concept one better. it seems to have more muscular accents like the M3 or M5 you mentioned and that silver matte glossy finish is off this planet! Those who have seen know what I am talking about.
I own a 2016 M4 and there is NO WAY IN HELL this car is even close to the M4 stock. I ran against a Q50RS when my M was stock and wiped the smile off his face quick. Now that I'm FBO running E85, I'm sure you can imagine what I did to a Q60RS (in Mexico) who was a little too overconfident. It's a nice car for sure don't get me wrong, I'm not hating, but people need to stop thinking it's a budget GT-R because it's not.
romel 4life the AWD version I would say is definitely the closest. I drove one of these (my cousin has one) and I was fairly impressed by its feel. I just wish it came in 6MT
There is no way in hell it's a low 4 second 0-60 car. You'll be lucky to hit 5 seconds consistently with perfect traction. I've driven it and it has no edge whatsoever. NO rear LSD. ZERO exhaust noise, uses the old 7AT which is not a very strong gearbox so mods could affect its longevity. It's competent but pretty boring for a 400hp car. It's 3800 pounds which is way too heavy. And yes, steering feel matters. It has none with either system. You can only order DAS with $5K in options. And it's HORRIBLE. Drive the previous generation back to back and the old car actually feels like a live wire in comparison. The chassis is pretty much the G37's chassis with a few updated stampings and new bodywork on the outside. The front suspension is exactly the same and the rear dampers are now true-type instead of having an outboard spring. The G37 had sublime steering, the new car does not. The interior is nice as is the exterior for the most part. Not as aggressive as I'd like though, particularly the lower front facia. I'm sure aftermarket mods will perk it up but the turbos are basically maxed out (they're really small). I think people will struggle to see 440 wheel hp (rwd) reliably. The AWD system is pretty unsophisticated and it guarantees you'll never have any quality aftermarket shock offerings (go with the 2wd if the handling matters and budget $2K plus for an aftermarket LSD). I own a G37 and I really want to like this car but Infiniti's going to have to add some dynamics if they're going to get my money. Otherwise I'm off to Audi RS3 land. And this guy has apparently never driven anything else but Toyota Corollas. Way overdone dude. But I guess the check is in the mail, huh?
this car is no where near as fast as the m4. in second gear it looks like the car takes a pause.its not even as fast as the 440i which has less hp and torque but produces better numbers. you are right about the big turbo excitement as first but thats when the excitement ends
M4 lmao wooow...slow down now. This car can not even beat a mustang gt...i will put it in the same level with a sti on a straight line acceleration level only.
Your very wrong Chris. Drove both the 440i and this car the same day I bought it. The Q60RS is faster hands down. Now a M4 might be a different story. Remember a 440i and a M4 are not even close to the same car.
This is my next car.

X I V ha. Yes. Ppls haaated that video=]
X I V lol
I was just waiting for the trooper to come up behind him. Pull over sir! lol! Nice car. :)
There's an app for that.
I can pretty much tell that this guy has not driven many fast cars in his life...but at least he is having fun
Niiiiiice! Owned 2 infinitis back in the day.
This is just a fantastic review. Thank you!
Exhaust Need more pop on the shift changes
dasa5023 oh mannn!!! About to post 2019 x4m40i vid that is so poppy!!!
Rc f or q60 red sport?
Is that even a question?! Q60S jackass.
Go for the V8 in the RC F!
tigerbiterhater You can't go wrong with either. Both have great engines, great build quality, both are reliable, both look fantastic. At the end of the day it cones down to interior preference. Personally, I like the Q (I feel it's a bit more. Luxurious...while the RC is a bit sportier).
At night it's amazing to inside. The lights in the doors are awesome. My doors light up all the way down the side (near the silver trim)
Tom which do you like more? The Red Sport or the Lexus GSF?
They are completely different classes of car...
Cory Anderson how so?
wwesuperstar1100 Cory is just a Lexus lover so no point in arguing with one minded people
andrew rankin What makes you think that? My Q60 Red Sport is being delivered next month. The Q60 RS is ~4000 lb, 400 hp, 3.0 v6, coupe. The GSF is ~4000 lb, 460 hp, 5.0 V8, sedan. I'm just saying they aren't really worth comparing.
Cory Anderson 👍🏽
3:16 You meant Mexico, correct?
on some Reviews it Is said that the DAS system Is a disappointment . What are your thoughts on this?. I Am thinking on buying this car and it seems that you really had a good time 😊. great Review !!!
Just got me one yesterday 😁☺️👌
ticotico3000 nice!!
Very interesting to watch. This Car is amazing man, now don't which to buy between the Audi A7 OR the Infiniti Q60
Emmanuel Makina this
I gotta get one of these. I love this car my dream car for sure
Impressive car, for sure. For that price, you could have gotten a 2018 Audi RS3, though. You could drive like that in the rain and not spin out in one of those.
4:12 when the boost kicks in
HarvesterUT2 good eye my man. Thanks for watching. Sub n share
Maybe start off with the exterior and work into the cabin
Jesse Martinez i used to hear that alot. Check the new stuff!!
I thought Infiniti eventually did put an LSD in the Red Sport version of this car, no?
Love this car! I bought mine last year. Beautiful car, very happy with it. It hauls ass too
its so beautiful 😭😭😭
Why are you comparing this car to M3/M4? This car go against 440i MSport, C43 AMG, and Audi S4/S5 so stop with the M3/M4 bs. Nice video by the way
i like it but definitely doesnt compete with m3/m4.. wrong category bruh. 😂
I Would Like A Black One With The Red Interior
This engine needs to be in the new Nissan Z car..period.
TopSecretVid they'll be no new z at the moment. Nissan hasn't green light it.
I'm sure there will be in the next few years..but this is the engine that needs to be in the new Z car WHENEVER that happens
You should have given us a tour of the car. Outdoor/ Indoor. Then it
would have been a complete review. Thanks anyway. I really like this specific one in that silver but I like the concept one better. it seems to have more muscular accents like the M3 or M5 you mentioned and that silver matte glossy finish is off this planet! Those who have seen know what I am talking about.
e K check other videos on the channel. A v nice walkaround. I agree tho need to edit and be better
My next car is either this or the s5
i subscribe cuz of the way you drive the car . that's how a review should be done : )
I just realized the interior dash of this Q60 looks like the interior dash of a 2011+ Hyundai Sonata.
Yeah I had a Genesis Coupe and this Q60 looks like a rich brother lol !
vh9network it is hotter in person
Funny thing, G37's have had this design way before your korean deepfryer. Starting from 2007-2014 with G35 Journey Sedan and G35x Sedan.
Faraz Shah so you're saying it's outdated?
holding my breath for a q60 black s
love this car
AWESOME car!!!!!!!!! Great Review!
I thought this was a mustang in the thumbnail w an Infiniti logo on the grill
Love this car. Would love to trade my A5 for one of these.
It's a nice car for sure don't get me wrong, I'm not hating, but people need to stop thinking it's a budget GT-R because it's not.
rlarocque0214 it basically is since it has most of the engine parts as a GTR
romel 4life the AWD version I would say is definitely the closest. I drove one of these (my cousin has one) and I was fairly impressed by its feel. I just wish it came in 6MT
I got this car in October it's actually an amazing car.
That ride looks gangsta
Just when I thought my G35 was enough
You mean to tell me i can finally fit 2 LARGE CUPS IN THE CUP HOLDER????? SOLLDDDD!
Best review ever
I wish they would of put a v8 in this stunner
My next whip
Downpipes and a tune and these put down 450+whp/wtq
Are you sure you're driving the Q60 Red Sport with 400 hp not the mid model with 300 hp>
Beautiful car!
In 2025 a white q60 with back rims and a panoramic roof will be parked at my drive away
this car is no where near as fast as the m4. in second gear it looks like the car takes a pause.its not even as fast as the 440i which has less hp and torque but produces better numbers. you are right about the big turbo excitement as first but thats when the excitement ends
chris inz. not every car can be the best but it seams that this car is cool quick and different from the heard
chris inz i drove an m4 comp pack the day before.. i swear infiniti felt faster
Give me this Q60 any day over BMW!
Man you got me hype!!!! I have to get it!!
Dude, fun video but damn slow down! Put the nannies back on too.
