@@pyre46168G yeah, I would use this idea actually for a newer robot someday because that’s always a problem I’ve had with lower brains but my school doesn’t have any. You a private team?
@@madisoglrobotics yes I am a private team, I used to be on a school team but that’s a long story, but I have been on 46168G since next level, if you can figure out what my school team is that would be crazy lol
awsome brain placement. i had my teammates yell at me for putting the brain in such a tight space turning it on was a challenge, not to mention taking out the battery. wish i had these pieces then
Sorry for the late response, but we won comps with this robot in January and February and our driving skills with this was 110, so I think it works well
@@pyre46168GI think he means gyro caibration and stuff because the magnet will interfere with inertial electromagnetic and it also can move which result in the inaccuracies of the inertial
Instant design award
So true tho
that’s genius.
Thanks man, I love showing off the little things of our robot 😁

@@pyre46168G how much money did that cost you? I’ve just been looking into it

I would like to change the battery like that rather than changing it from the bottom😂

you sure the magnets are strong enough to hold the brain when driving

im putting this on my robot
lucky you got magnets
Crossover was a very fun game :)
Can you full park with 2m 3:2 ratio? Also gl at state ill be watching
Thanks! I think you might be able to but currently our full park is a motor share but it may not be used at states
@@pyre46168G yeah after create imma build a new bot for fun 4 m gear slide intake and outtake and then pneumatic PTO from gear slide to drivetrain
Even though this idea is mind blowing, what about autonomous??
Can you elaborate further? I’ll see if I can answer it, we use touch leds to start our autonomous runs, so our brain can basically be anywhere
@@pyre46168GI think he means gyro caibration and stuff because the magnet will interfere with inertial electromagnetic and it also can move which result in the inaccuracies of the inertial
Maybe he can use touch leds or bumper switches
Is it legal in vex competition? (Use magnets
Yes it is legal in vex iq
Where do you find the magnets?
They were apart of the game Vex IQ Crossover in 2016-2017, my first year in vex, but you can also buy them online
is that magnetic?
Yup
