I heard they had check points at baker coming back from Pahrump but closer to the 4th, I have gone many times and never seen it my self, but the safest way is going though Vegas it is longer but way safer.
PYRO FLACO 714on the way back from pahrump there is one the agricultural check point we got lucky and didn't get stopped but some cars did so it's better to go before going to Vegas and just come back on the i-15

The reason it was expensive was because of buy one get one free( pink tags)
The excalibur shells are 130 for 4 in a case and they have them in store inside for 140 for 2 boxes it’s weird it’s better to buy by the case
