It's the best shooter of 2022 imo. I don't care that it's in early access, this is one of the most addictive, deep, and fun gameplay loops I've ever been engaged in.
I've played it a little when Mayo first introd it and while I dig how deep you could get into the combat the enemy variety is lacking to me. When I say variety I don't just mean visuals but behavior and challenge, uping the amount of damage or how spongy they get isn't challenging to me it's how they react to me or the environment or the patterns of attacks they come up with is what makes it worth playing and exploring. I've been playing Hades for bit and I have the same issues.
I bought it but man this 2022 year is loaded with great games especially on the indie side so i guess i ll play this in 2052 for i have still not even touched doom eternal dlc (amongst many other titles)
This game does look amazing. I have been kinda waiting till full release for this one. Its not that i dont want to play it, I just can only spend so much per year...... But its aabout to be 2023 so this is on my purchase list! I have been keeping up with this team for a while. Love the vids and the support for small time devs. Keep up the great work mayo
I prefer an ascension (spire) or heat (hades) style difficulty myelf where it scales up for more and more challenge. Synthetiks always kinda felt a bit pointless other than 140% where u get the perk for beating it, nothin else mattered other than challenging yourself and with no run tracking or leader boards its like whats the point ?
@@frankylampard3931 I felt like Synthetik's system was more fun. I couldn't care less about leaderboards. I would rather have the game be more fun. Regardless, it'd be nice to have both options.
@@theblobconsumes4859 i dont need leaderboards either but at least let me know what difficulty I have beaten with what class. Seems a basic feature thay Synthetik is missing
I never really got the hang of the Hunter, but I just played Engineer and he feels way more intuitive. The way he's supposed to be played feels decently clear, and I'm sure I'll have tons of fun with him once I unlock more perma-upgrades and learn some build strats. Soldier is still my go-to, though. The gripwire build is INSANE.
Thanks for this video. I just got the engineer ( I kept running past that dam door.xD Thought I had to beat the last boss to get him unlocked) In my very engi first run I made it to the Final boss which I had never done before. Then I died and checked out this video, had no idea about half the stuff in his kit? overcharinging the current? Never hear of it? Breaking C balls with the link? Huh what? Hidden upgrades in the connecting room? Sorry what? Excuse you I have 10Hrs in this game and apparently I am still a total noob. Also looking forward to the final Product
I'm having a lot of trouble with Engineer on the hardest difficulty. I've only managed to beat it once and that was with really good RNG so I had a broken build. I feel like I can beat it with the other two classes a lot more consistently. Not sure what I'm missing with this class, I definitely want to get better with it!
I totally agree about rogue-likes. But this game is a rogue-lite. (Which is something I typically also do not like very much) But even as rogue hater #1, I really do enjoy it.

This class looks much more entertaining than the previous two classes. I’m glad the devs are getting more creative.

The sound effects remained me a lot of that chainsaw leg game and I really dig it. Very chunky sounding

Looks really cool, but i really dislike rouge-likes a fair bit and am not in the mood for more early access. (Id prefer to buy the full game)
