RaceMe Canada sells a very nice bracket for the ultra. I just got mine last night and it connects to the lower screw on the driver side grab handle on the pillar. Ends up just like what you did, but no modification required.
I have a question? I have a 2015 ram 3500 lamerie longhorn 6.7 cummins with aisin transmission. I just install the raceme ultra tuner on my truck. I unplugged the connections on the egr cooler and the throttle valve. The question is have you had any problems with the truck coming to a stop or at a light and the engine cuts off. It never done that before i installed the turner. Im sorry for asking and thank you. I have the 4 in delete pipe with aero turbine muffler 4040xl.
how do you like the 4040xl i going same route with the 4'' delete pipes on my 2018 and deciding if i leave it no muffler or the 4040xl? some tell me with the delete pipes its still quiet

I'm looking into a raceme ultra for my 15 2500. If I just run the box tunes (I assume what comes in the programmer from factory) will it only run that 1 tune, or will I still have the switchable tunes like yours shows.
Also, will the tuner come with trans programming too for a stock 68rfe?
You will have switchable tunes on the box tunes and can order custom tuning from a few places around as well so you have options. There isn’t custom trans tuning with the box tunes but it does allow you to set what you want your trans line psi to be i.e. max of 225 psi instead of 180 psi. However, the factory valvebody will not hold or be capable of maintaining 225 psi of line pressure. All around the Raceme has served us well and left alot of growing room for custom tuning. Hope this answers your questions.
@@MKSPerformanceOffroad this does help. I just traded my 08 Cummins off for this 15. My 08 had a flash tune done on it for deletes. So I'm new to actually deleting one myself. I know I can do the mechanical side of it, new to tuning. I don't really have a need for a custom tune and all that comes with that, so was curious about the boxed tunes that come with the ultra.

My race me ultra tuner was installed and runs great. but my RT button on the gauge is not highlighted anymore when I first installed it was, I was able to change do you know why
Check for updates and ensure it has the latest firmware.

Why are your tires outside of the fender flares. The rest of us don't like getting chips or cracks in our windshields
If you don’t tail gate you shouldn’t have a problem. These tires really don’t stick out that far and you have to have an offset to run the bigger tires for level unless you go with some pizza cutter tires. To each their own.

Is the raceme ultra better than the Ezlynk? I have Ezlynk now but looking at raceme on the Gauges side?
I personally like the raceme or mm3 but nothing wrong with ez lynk. I use my phone for other things so having a dedicated display is my preference.
Just ordered a delete kit that came with this tuner. My biggest reason is for the ability to delete the truck but secondly is added power and sound. I use to run gas trucks with built trans that shift hard. Could I run my line pressure up on the trans for a more firm shift if I drive normal? It’s a work truck. No towing. 2019 3500 4x4
You can increase line pressure on this programmer, however, there are limits to that with a stock trans. The stock trans simply can’t maintain over a certain pressure without upgrading other components. You could try bumping it to 180psi

Hi,
Just installed raceme ultra tuner and 4” proflo exhaust on my 18 6.7 g56. Stock setting for now. Did you have any problems with the boost and exhaust break going off at the time time when shifting to 5th and 6 gears when on auto exhaust break on? It does it when i release the clutch without giving it gas right away.
It does if Im slow on shifting and clutch engagement

question, im not sure if im missing something obvious but where do i find the adjust parameters for the gauges (changing from the base ones) to boost etc? also if im running everything stock with the 68rfe what would be your recommendation for daily driving but also putting my foot all the way down occasionally with no problems? run the stock tune on the switch (#1)? sorry very new to all this and not too many videos/info everyone's got a different opinion.
Changes to PIDs can be done easily to configure each dashboard. You will want to change them in each dashboard. If you need additional help please send a dm on IG. Depends on your installed equipment like head studs or stock head bolts. If running stock head bolts I would advise not tuning anything more than 60hp setting. Once you have installed head studs you should be safe to run higher hp tuning. You can absolutely run more than a 60hp tune as long as you use common sense when it comes to the go pedal. If you drive it like you stole it on 120hp tune with a stock motor your asking for trouble. Any other questions let us know.
So your def also says full... I just did mine, and I was expecting it to show empty...
It should stay full as you wont be using alot of DEF with the improved tuning as part of one of the updates a while ago 😉
So after the delete.... what clutch did you put in?? looking to install a new clutch on my deleted '16.

Nice video..so if i program it DELETES ONLY STOCK POWER..how do i go back and reset the speed limiter?,it only gave the option of stock limiter and then program.
Have you had any issues with the screen freezing while running? Mine will freeze at random while idling or driving, then I have to pull over and turn the key off and it un freezes.... any idea on what that could be? All connections are solid, software and firmware up to date.... the tuner has been installed literally for 9 days. Race me said it's the obd port on my truck, but it works fine when the truck isnt running... got me stumped... and thoughts are greatly appreciated.
Yes, it was due to a faulty power cable like used on the android phones where it would not seat in the monitor right because the fingers that grab the port were worn out. Replacement cable sent by Raceme solved the issue.
Where did u get a pillar mount for the screen for your monitor ?
Did you do your deletes before running the software? Video shows you running the software and then starting your truck. Just trying to understand the correct process, I am under the impression I run the software and ensure it is loaded before doing any deletes (not starting the truck until everything is deleted). Thanks!
Nathan Brown run software, then start to ensure you are code free and everything is the way it should be, then perform repair/replacement work.

Nathan Brown you wont damage anything just by starting it and letting it run as long as you dont drive it a good distance with all equipment on before removal.
@@MKSPerformanceOffroad I updated the software and ran it on my truck, everything on the Raceme said successful ready to use etc, DEF gauge went to full like yours, but I did not see any of the messages pop up on my trucks screen like yours saying that things were disabled? I started my truck and got no error codes. Mine is a 2014 2500, this has me hesitant to start pulling parts. Have you seen this before? Thanks again.
Nathan Brown if its code free it performed what it needed to and you should be good to proceed. The tuning you will see will be whatever is loaded on the card. So if I did a emissions compliant tune and named it tune 1 that is what you would see. As long as you have no codes that is the main thing you want

Just got my tuner. Still new to this one. Where can I see on the screen boost and motor temperature ?
You will need to configure those parameters you want to see on the display for each box
On your 18, did you need a obd bypass cable for the RMU?
I ask as I installed the RaceME ultra last night on my 18 and the truck was dead this am. I did not flash it yet, just hooked the tuner up to verify it was good. I'm curious if being after the bypass cable caused this as the truck can sit for a week and never had issues till this.
I'm new to diesel's. I have a new to me ram 3500, 2010. It has the MMS tuner on it. And for the life of me, I have idea how to use it. Came to this video for some information. And maybe I can find other sources of information if I get a reply on the message.

Have a question about the tuner, When you set the RT parameters and save it you have to have it on the zero switch for our tea for that to apply that specific tune per key turn? And if I want to select one of the other switches is it just apply that specific type of tools such as tow Street etc.
If you fully program the ecm not using the RT it will change more than just duration and a few other things. RT only changes timing and duration if Im not mistaken. Hope that answers your question
How does the raceme do with the 68fre? I understand it has a lot to do with the driving habits, but I've read some negative feedback from other tuners trans tunning.
I think it does just fine, if your running box tunes it still wouldn’t hurt to get trans tuning.

Are the programmers vin# specific? My buddy gave me his tuner, can’t get a response from Raceme on if I need to reprogram it
You will need to purchase a new vin license assuming all 4 have not been utilized on the unit.
Does it smoke going down road with the 30 horse tune?
Very little if any at all. Soot catcher really helps 😉
How does this tuner differ from EFI live?
Essentially it is similar but you can remove micro sd card to make revisions or load revisions to tunes and you dont need to install a separate sotf switch in your dash. All your tunes can be accessed right from the programmer for RT tunes. Hope this answers your question.

I am having an issue finding the downloads for the updates. I have sent Raceme an email but no response. I bought mine back in 16 and have never updated it, I figure its about time. lol. Also, is there a way to cut the grid heater off ourselves or will we need to pay a tuner to do that?
Downloads are found on their website under raceme ultra section, download the update and transfer to micro sd card. You then need to insert the sd card into the ultra and it should update
As far as tuners go, is there any benefit to this over an EZ Lynk?
This programmer is essentially the same as an MM3 but with programming. Ez lynk, MM3, Raceme Ultra are all good programmers and alot of people like them all, and choose based off what or how they want to program. MM3 and Raceme allow you to buy a dongle to allow the end user to learn with as well and create your own tunes if desired for some older trucks. Only issues Ive seen is random disconnects on EZ lynk and cables going bad after years of use with MM3/Raceme. Choose how you want to control and monitor the truck, either standalone screen or by a phone/tablet. Also, the big difference is that Ez Lynk is cloud based and MM3/Raceme programmers store the files locally on an sd card. Hope this help!

2 questions, can you remove the tuner after you tune the ecm? And do this trucks not have and egt probe from the factory?
Yes programmer can be removed, yes it does however they generally monitor egts in areas around the dpf rather than the manifold.

Yes that is correct.

At the moment I just mess around with my own stuff for liability reasons.
Do you have any suggestions what tune to run out of the box? I was running 200 seems to get best mileage that way but I want the rig to last. What kind of custom stuff do you do on your own... any suggestions?
John Pal I have successfully done the sound modifiers but dont run them because they are pointless, really just wanted to try them out and I have done a single injection tune and some trans tuning.
John Pal I’d recommend the tow tune and maybe the street if nothing engine wise is done. Good mileage from what I’ve seen out of these and awesome response. I’d also say that if you dont have an aftermarket clutch like sb or valair your stocker wont hold anything over stock.

Jonathan Ochoa Raceme, MM3, and EZlynk programmers all lock to the VIN, but provide normally up to 4 uses. You will have to return truck back to stock and purchase another VIN at around $150 to continue use on another VIN.

Chris Beasley should be able to reprogram to stock and back to whatever your trying to run
Did you have to upgrade your clutch or are you still running stock clutch?
Yes definitely, clutch was gone at 9500mi. Replaced with a south bend dual disc clutch SDD3250GK --> www.amazon.com/dp/B0059VAVTK/?tag=Mksperforma03-20 . Also, see the install video that is up on the channel.

@@thefunkster7083 this clutch sounds similar to a valair in noise level but you can get the quiet version they make as well.

Can this tuner still delete trucks? Or is epa cracking down on them aswell?
Crystal Water this programmer will allow you to run the box tunes provided with the programmer as well as any programming you wish to run whether it is a tune from DRD or Motor Ops. You load whatever tune you have built with Warp tuning on a micro sd card and can use that as well. The programmer will perform the task shown in the video as well as provide other tuning options for you. Hope this helps. Clayton Alvarado I was going to say, check your firmware version and also if its an mm3 you could have accidentally changed the file names in the sd card and that will cause them not to show up as well

Very much so. It is a great tuning platform as the MM3 is and the EZ Lynk. In my opinion the MM3 or Raceme Ultra is better for someone interested in being able to learn to tune on their own as you can purchase a warp tuning dongle and go at it. EZ Lynk is not that way anymore and requires the user buy tunes through a tuning company. If this is your goal than thats ok but it wasnt mine.
why don't you put a muffler in it it. Most of us don't want to hear your trucks noise.
