I can tell the older lady is more experienced with beginners. She’s the only one who had a freestyle-kinda teaching method, and actually got him to play “Happy Birthday”. The other two were teaching so much by the books.
This series is one of my favorites on youtube. I really liked this one in particular. The looks on their faces when you cut/drilled into the violin...LOL. I know it's going to get tougher to do these because of your notoriety so I understand the over the topness of it, but honestly when you were just 'bad' was better (for me). It seemed more beleivable. Anyway, I still enjoy them and I like that you are helping them out.
Such a wonderfully wholesome series - always makes me smile. The reactions when you're "opening up" your violin and then proceeding to play are hilarious.
I'll be the first to admit I'm not a fan of the violin but finding you through SAC has been great your content with Marcus too and the Pranks, amazing entertainment and and a great talent keep up the Great Work 🙂🙌
I could play a few melodies from day one of my violin journey probably because I have passed a grade 5 singing exam and had done a music theory exam and had played other instruments as well. My ears just told me where to put my fingers. It was that, that made me want to start in the first place. About 2 decades ago when I went to the local music school where I had a guitar lesson and waiting for my teacher I saw a violin teacher waiting for her student and I asked "can I maybe get an octave or two on this violin?" so she let me have a try. I got an almost perfect two octave scale on it and she asked me "how did you get it so almost perfectly in tune? You got it better in tune than my student gets it!" I replied, I don't know, my ears just told me where to put my fingers. It was a day I will never forget.
I may not comment very often but i still love your vids my dude, absolute treat to meet you in person. Still loved that monitor you almost forgot in that uhaul
I just started playing the violin last month and this is so incredibly funny to me. I shouldn’t have laughed as hard as I did. Thank you for this video!
Just a thought, maybe the newer teachers will be less aware of you, and the older ones will likely be less known to you, but it's also cool to see a reaction from someone who immediately saw you think "Damn, now I must re-watch the whole thing again to see if I saw any tell signs she really knew". I highly anticipate the plumbing video! These & your anime series are my favourite.
lol... Loving the "Beginner" videos. Was that Randee in the photos you showed the instructors? If you're showing pictures of the two of you together, doesn't that defeat the purpose of a costume? 😄 Loving your content, Rob. Keep up all of the great work.
I think more that I would be nervous after the fact! I love when students excel, so am not nervous of that. Good question for reflection though.@@MasterSifou
@@kowal1611 Thank you very much. I’ve been trying to figure it out for a long time now because it sounded so familiar and I couldn’t remember where I’ve heard it.
It took me several months to get the bow grip right. It started with what some teachers call banana thumb and a very stiff pinky finger. About 6 months I eventually got my right hand doing correct.
Rob I have a suggestion, can you make a video of playing the theme of Mahabharat on Violin. I heard it yesterday and wanted to see you play it on violin
I often really dislike the whole "I'm a beginner... not really... gotcha! I'm amazing!!" - style videos.... but this was done well. Respectful of the teachers and compensating them, too 👍. I was thinking that these guys MUST have seen you before but I guess out of context and with the cunning disguise you could pass as a builder😂
I was hoping you could play a Violin part on your channel. Yanni- live at the Acropolis. "The Rain must fall" This has one of the best violin solos, hands down. I would enjoy it if you could play it on your channel
I love your Videos, but i am a little disappointed that the editor wrote Lindsey correct in the beginning an then misspelled it at 1:30.... but your rendition of Roundtable Rival was so cool.. would be cool to see a collab with you and "Lindsay" one day
I know of 3 ways to tell if violin playing is fake. Hearing vibrato on an open string. Hearing pizzicato on a string that was bowed and hearing a bowed string that was plucked. Can you tell us any other ways to let us know if it is fake?
If I were a plumber for the next video, what ridiculous things would you want me to say or do?
I like how he says he is on the Lunch break but then rest of them are working....thats not how a lunch break works
If you do the plumbing video fake poop should explode from the toilet behind you lol
Dress like Mario and play his theme, of course...
@@thebigd1x990what? 😂😂😂
“Accidentally” pour lots of water all over the violin 😂
The shock on their faces when they saw the violin being drilled, followed by the surprise when seeing you play was just priceless!
yea that was genius
The last girl who said at the beggining that she know you would deserve a chance to be promoted 😢
She deceived the great deceiver.
@@TylerDollarhide I thought it was kind of weired to teach vibrato on the first lesson, now I know why she did it lol

well he said he had a month so they taught acc to that
I play 8 instruments (this is my alt account) and I agree. I play by ear and think she did the best.
This is such a classic series! I’m always looking forward to the next videos!
3:42 Smart girl, good teacher
Thanks
10:05 That’s when the prankster became the prankstee!! 😅
3:42 ooops... 🤣🤣🤣
"your are not faking me, are you?" 😂🤣
„We got a little work to do…“ 😂😂😂😂
He killed me:
- Have you played violin before?
- No, but my dad was a piano mover
How did Ruthanne not break her character? She could be a great actor. 😅

At this point I'm surprised that there are violin players who don't know you XD

For me, these are the best contents of the channel, I wish there were more! Can't wait for a new episode!
Throughout the video, I didn't stop smiling. The work of the guys in the background is incomparable🤣 Thank you for the video and subtitles)

Loving your content, Rob. Keep up all of the great work.
Wow... all of those teachers were great sports. The drill thing... HAHAHA!! Great job Rob. Sure would love you to come do a show in Utah again!! :D
I love when the guy is out of frame of the webcam and just drills the air while looking at the camera.
Oh my god, every time he plays bad on purpose it hurts so much. And when he put rosin on the strings I wanted to die, my word Rob. Awesome video!
LOL. My nightmares as a music teacher, all in one video! LOL.
what is it ? meeting a student thats better than you ?
I think more that I would be nervous after the fact! I love when students excel, so am not nervous of that. Good question for reflection though.@@MasterSifou
playing wrong as a pro is harder then playing right as a noob hahah
I love them theyre so good at teaching lol and their reaction is so hilarious 😭
Three of them are so really great teacher tbh, they deserve to be promoted:)
Yeah yeah yeah, another awesome video! ❤
Does anyone know what song he plays at 8:27?
Roundtable Rival - Lindsey Stirling
@@kowal1611 Thank you very much. I’ve been trying to figure it out for a long time now because it sounded so familiar and I couldn’t remember where I’ve heard it.
You should perform internationally!
You're awesome bro! Love ya. Greetings from Poland! 🥰😀😊
That was the most beautiful "happy birthday" i've ever heard, wow
You got played by Ruthanne at the end 😁
You know someone loves their instrument when they get absolutely devasted on the thought of it being damaged.
Master violinist, great UA-camr, and I really enjoy watching you. Keep-up the good work. 🎻
Thank you! Will do!

Love your videos bro❤️
Love the groundhog day reference with the piano mover comment!!!!
I've been learning for a little over a year and we haven't even discussed vibrato yet. But that one lady trying to teach you on day one. Lol

Speaking of Lindsey Sterling, i would love to see you play Heavy Weight as shown on beat savers OST 6

You must be really good to fake being horrible.

It's a 10 minute video, you don't gotta immediately spoil reactions at the beginning.
lovely video ♥

There are different ways to spell the same name, but jumping back and forth in captions isn't generally a good idea
HAHA...You got me dude🤣
amazing content
I have no idea why you do my profile like that, haha

Nice video.
I have a question. I want to learn how to play violin. So I got a SV75 for around 200 in us dollars. Is this good for a start?
Yes 🙌🏻
You're too famous now, got busted instantly by 2 of them :D
Good video 👍🏻
What happened to your FB account? Still managing it?
