I use Zyihun Crane M2 with my Sony. I primarily use the gimbal in low light conditions and when giving hotel tours. It has made a major improvement in the quality of our videos. When I am walking with the gimbal you can occasionally pick up a footstep in the footage, but it isn't bad. I usually throw it in a backpack and go. It is a pain to deal with but worth it for the higher quality footage. I can usually set everything up and balance the camera in under 30 seconds. I think my Sony A6400 is at the upper end of the weight limit for the M2. If I was in the market for a gimbal today I would probably consider getting this one over the M2.
This is what I have been waiting for all my life....(maybe not all my life)...but super duper stuff! Now, let me find another video to encourage me to checkout!
For me the best hybrid gimbal in the market right now is the Feiyutech Ak2000s, which often sells for 300, size is comparable with the Moza Mini P, but payload is a whopping 2kg, it has touchscreen controls so you don't depend on the app, although is does has an app for additional controls, it doesn't fold in half, but it has locks in all axis. You get the option of wood or metal grip, and is has fast charging usb-c with an all day long battery. The runner up would be the Zhiyun Webill S, which often sells fore more than the Feiyutech, but it too has that high payload, however this one improves in portability, since it has detachable parts and a quite small footprint, but it lacks the app free experience or the touchscreen interface. Then a third place would go to the Feiyutech G6 Max with a payload of 1.1kg at an incredible portable size, noticeable smaller and lighter than the Moza Mini P, still with a 8 hours battery and usb-c and a semi-app-free experience. I use this gimbal with the X-T4 +16mm f1.4 + Revoring VND+CPL filter and that's reaching the gimbal's payload max so stability is a little on the compromised side, but when I pair with the 16mm f2.8 + smaller Revoring VND+CPL filter it handles perfectly smooth. I'd give the Moza Mini P a 4th place in this ladder, because it's bigger and bulkier and has a 200g smaller payload than the G6 Max, at similar price point. I too have the Zhiyun Crane 2S which is way overkill for my Fuji X-T4 and I wish now I had chosen the Feiyutech Ak2000s. For those who don't need the side dial control there is the Ak2000c for even more affordable. 😎👍
Fantastic information! I got here from the GoPro9 gimbal video. I think this will suit my needs and desires perfectly for my Z50. I've given up on the GoPro for lists of reasons but keep using action cameras in less than desirable ways for stability. I've wanted a gimbal but carrying something large for the type of travel and activities I do just isn't ideal. Thanks for this share!

Hello, how are you finding using this gimbal with your fuji xt3 + 18-55mm (849gm)? Is the motor having a hard time with your setup? I have a Sony a7r3 + Samyang 45mm (819gm) and deciding between a new Moza mini P and a lightly used Zhiyun weebill S. Which would you suggest? I like compact devices. Thank you.
how did you know I was looking for a Gimbal for my new gopro setup with the media mod and the Saramonic blink 500 pro b2. Thank you so much for this video
I chose the mini p over the smooth 4 for an iPhone 12 pro max. yes I use filmic pro and it was awesome having the smooth4 talk to filmic pro, but for the mini p I use a 3rd party shutter release for start/stop recording. also its nice to use the wide angle and not see the smooth 4's gimble arm in the view. also with the mini p, an IMPORTANT thing they mentioned, is when you set the modes, theres no switch or indicator LEDS to let you know.. , there are. if you look at the handle, the lights will be steady for standard default. they will flash up, or down for sports, or follow mode. I found this out by accident. so that helps.. also if you double click on a mode and it doesnt make the beeps, its because youre on the other mode.. found it handles the weight of the 12pro max well. and one last thing. if anyone reading this buys a mini p, spend some time getting to know how it "acts". and you have to melt into the actions. if you do a pan and you get there before its done panning, slowly pan the other way and let it catch up. things like that. also don't be afraid to use the trigger and let it go during filming. example, in default you can squeeze the trigger and it will follow faster, and its usually a smooth transition. best bang for the buck I think.
Much appreciate your video you are doing . I’m new to getting a gimbal but you gave much interest of getting one but I’m looking for one that would fit my apple 11 pro without removing my Otter box defender case , pls can you give me your suggestions on any product.

Let's say I only plan to use my large azz phone for this. Will I need re-set the stabilization everytime I use or can I just do that step once as long as I'm changing the camera?
I know this is about 2 years back but is there a replacement 2023 gimbal replacement for the mini P that can work with smartphones, GoPro and the Sony ZV-1 Digital Camera?
Hi guys, I have a question: I took delivery of this Moza gimbal as of yesterday and intend to use it primarily with a loaded up iPhone 13 Pro Max. I'm not certain if the included plastic phone mount is up to the job and am seriously considering getting a stronger option, what are your thoughts? thanks and keep up the great work!
We don't use iPhones, so I'm not sure how bug that phone is. But the included Mount handles our Samsung Galaxies just fine. If the mount doesn't seem sturdy enough, I'd recommend the Rode or Manfrotto phone mounts instead.
Hi I would like to know how stable the image is when moving, turning transversely horizontally? The Gopro 9 image is very uneven when flipped horizontally. Is this Gimbal sure the horizontal movement is smooth?
@@Gemini_Connect Hi, fun to hear. I think that’s the real problem with GoPro9. For example, when you turn left while walking calmly, the image jerks really easily. And I don’t want to use a video like that. The same problem appears to be in the drone videos. I would be really happy if there wasn’t this problem here. Is there much of a learning curve to set up the Moza Mini P? I've never used a gimble before. Thank You for sharing your videos. I've been learning from them. I'm getting a GoPro hero 9 and I want very steady footage Thank You!
Good question. I think there's a learning curve with gimbals in general. It's a different way of filming and holding the camera and often isn't so easy to just plug and play. It usually takes me at least a few tries to get accustomed to shooting with a gimbal.
I just got this gimbal for my new Go Pro 9 with Media Mod and was wondering if you use it with the Ulanzi Magnetic Quick Release you mentioned in a previous video. I used the camera all summer with the mount, prior to getting the gimbal, and can't imagine not being able to continue using it.
I love the Ulanzi magnetic attachment too. I tried using it and find that it makes it very difficult to balance the GoPro on the gimbal. Maybe you can do a better job than me though.
Awesome video! Good review. Are you able to control hero 8 with moza mini p on the app? I can’t decide between crane m2 & moza mini p for my GoPro hero 8. Thanks
You can't control GoPro via the gimbal app on either the Moza or the Crane. The only gimbal that lets you do that is the GoPro Karma Grip, which doesn't work with the Hero 8.
Great video! Seems like a really good value. Did you try any other lenses with the X-H1? I've got the 16 1.4 + 23 1.4 and would be curious if it could support the weight of either. Also, did you turn off IBIS in the camera when shooting on the gimbal?
Only tried the 18-55 because that's the main lens we use to shoot 90% of the time. We don't have either of those f/1.4 lenses, but as long as the overall weight doesn't exceed 1.98 lbs, you should be good!
Please excuse me for being a noob, but why mirrorless cameras; can you not use a mirrored camera and if not, do you know why. I have a Canon EOS 5D Mark II and looking for something like this just like you, to be able to jump from the Canon, to gopro and smartphone. thanks!
cant 360 cams like the X3 do all the features listed for the gimbal - timelapse, inception, etc etc - natively example: insta 360 app has a lot of those built in i think struggling to see utility of gimbals with new 360 cams that are out outside of maybe cinematic shots for heavy mirrorless
I have a DJI Osmo 3 Smartphone gimbal, but have recently thought about stabilising 4K Vlogs from my Sony ZV-1. So something the the Crane M2 or Moza Mini P are looking good options! Or eve the Ronin SC.
Great video, enjoying your series. Do you know if this gimbal fully rotates on the horizontal access (x axis I believe) to transition between FPV and filming yourself (selfie)?
I have a Insta360 and needed a stabilizer so thank you!! This was perfect you sold me, it sucks so bad I can’t use the gimbal remote to control my camera but that’s ok I’ll use my phone app or something!
Sir, I have - Moza Mini P Max -Gimbal... Which can carry up to 1 kg. Please suggest me a mirror less camera with lens combo for Cinematography used by the gimbal... Please suggest me....
Just looking into buying a gimbal I can afford and that will accept all my shooting equipment. So far this is the best one, but it is November now and I'm wondering if there is anything new out there. I'm a blogger on a budget 😁
Zhiyun just released the Crane M3. I think it is slightly bigger, but since it is newer, it us worth looking into it. But you can't go wrong with the Moza Mini P or the Crane M2 -- they may also be more discounted compared to a brand new gimbal release.
Aloha Gemini: What I did not see in this tutorial is balancing a GoPro Hero 9. Any chance you can show balancing a GoPro Hero 9 with this $200 dollar Gimbal. What about the Hohem iSteady Multi 3-axis gimbal for $140? Will you investigate this gimbal using a GoPro Hero 9?
Hohem iSteady Gimbal with Hero 9 - ua-cam.com/video/roBVJoSowVc/v-deo.html Balancing on the Moza is pretty standard like any other camera. You don't need to have it perfectly balanced -- once you power the gimbal on, it will automatically balance. It's more important for larger, heavier cameras to be balanced before turning the gimbal on.
Yup! As long as you use a relatively small lens, the Z50 will balance on the gimbal. Not sure if it is able to connect to the gimbal via Bluetooth/USB though.
That's great that you found a gimbal that fits the needs of all your camera's. It makes so much easier for travel. Great review.
Yes absolutely

According to the manual, yes, it should work. We don't use iPhones though and have not tried it fir ourselves.
Per your lens doc this isn't good for cannon m5? It doesn't record? I'm a bot confused.
Do you have any idea which gimbals, if any, that would hold up to use on an off-road vehicle with a rough ride?

struggling to see utility of gimbals with new 360 cams that are out outside of maybe cinematic shots for heavy mirrorless
Will this gimbal charge devices during use
I have a DJI Osmo 3 Smartphone gimbal, but have recently thought about stabilising 4K Vlogs from my Sony ZV-1. So something the the Crane M2 or Moza Mini P are looking good options! Or eve the Ronin SC.
Hi, thanks for sharing.
I can't find Moza Mini P Gimbal in my country "Norway"
Are there other gimbals to do the same job?
Thanks
The Zhiyun Crane M2S and M3 are good alternatives - ua-cam.com/video/ZdZHNlwYPpM/v-deo.html
Another top video guys.
Thank you Paul 😊
Have you ever tried the FeiyuTech G6 Max? It's splashproof and I'm curious how it would compare to Moza?
I haven't tried it.
Great video, enjoying your series. Do you know if this gimbal fully rotates on the horizontal access (x axis I believe) to transition between FPV and filming yourself (selfie)?
Answering my own question...yes, it does 360 degrees.
Hahahaha
I have a Insta360 and needed a stabilizer so thank you!! This was perfect you sold me, it sucks so bad I can’t use the gimbal remote to control my camera but that’s ok I’ll use my phone app or something!
This is a great gimbal for the Insta. Hope it works well for you 😊
Great video very informative
is the battery life of the gopro effected much by using an external mic on the media mod?
I haven't seen a significant difference.
Hello, have another question! What mount did you use to connect your Go Pro 9 to the L bracket on the gimbal. Thank you!
This adapter - geni.us/iCAEZR
Not compatible with X-T4 ? Thanks for the video.
thank you for the great review!
Can you charge the gopro from the gimbal?
Yes!
Seems like accessories have to be ordered along with this Gimbal can you please elaborate on that some more.
?? Depends on what canera you're using, but in most cases, no.
Sir,
I have - Moza Mini P Max -Gimbal... Which can carry up to 1 kg.
Please suggest me a mirror less camera with lens combo for Cinematography used by the gimbal...
Please suggest me....
Sony a7IV with 16-35mm f4
Will I be able to attach the GoPro 8black?
@Gemini Connect Can you show object tracking on this gimbal with an action camera?
Object tracking only works if the camera has that feature.
@@Gemini_Connect I know that. But how does the gimbal know it needs to move the camera if it is in tracking?
Can I also use this gimbal for Cannon r6 mirrorless lens?
If it fits the Max payload, yes.
Does anyone know if my Fujifilm XT 200 would work on this with the kit lens because I couldn't find it on her compatible link/file thing
How about its object tracking feature
Hohem iSteady Gimbal with Hero 9 - ua-cam.com/video/roBVJoSowVc/v-deo.html
Balancing on the Moza is pretty standard like any other camera. You don't need to have it perfectly balanced -- once you power the gimbal on, it will automatically balance. It's more important for larger, heavier cameras to be balanced before turning the gimbal on.
Great compact! Does it work with sony a6000?
Absolutely!
Very good reviews
Super gimbel tq for vedio
Do you need any special clamps to attach the Hero 9 to the gimbal?
You need a GoPro to 1/4 inch tripod thread adapter.
Great info, thanks for sharing!
You're welcome! Thanks for watching 😊
Lovely video...was looking for a gimbal for my Insta 360 One R
Glad you enjoyed it 😊
Does it work with the Nikon Z50 ? Great videos
Yup! As long as you use a relatively small lens, the Z50 will balance on the gimbal. Not sure if it is able to connect to the gimbal via Bluetooth/USB though.
Is there a possibility to make it longer with a Stick?
????
I mean....Is there an Attack on the Botton?
There's a quarter inch tripod hole on the bottom, so you could attach an extension that way.
@@Gemini_Connect thanks you vert much
Is it well compatible with Samsung S21 ultra?
