Uh oh, you may have created a monster in your buddy here!!! Looks like we got a new head hunter on the loose!! Great job you guys…..enjoyed seeing the corn field cuties!! Always a pleasure and continued luck to you all!! 👍🏻👊🏻
He definitely had a great day and it was fun to share this great hobby with someone who truly appreciated the time and experience. Thanks again for coming along guys! Always enjoy your comments.
Thank you! It definitely was worth the effort that day. Hoping to get another hunt in while the corn is still standing. We’ll see.. Appreciate you coming along and your support!
Super glad you enjoyed it! It was definitely a pleasure helping him check off something from his bucket list. Plus a couple more points for good measure.
You’ve got that right! Most definitely addicting. I already want to go walk some corn again. Just waiting for another cooler weather day. Best of luck to you!
Always a good feeling to see your buddy find one, but I bet especially if it's his first!! You just have to love beginners luck. Haha! Congrats on the finds guys and good luck on the next!
Beginners luck is right! He warned me about it before we went and he was correct. He definitely found some keepers. I was happy to make that happen. He’s a good dude! Thanks for joining us!
Good thing that you didn't stop looking when the corn came in! You started your buddy on a hobby that will stick with him for years! You guys had a good day.
The conditions were definitely less than ideal, but we pushed through and were definitely rewarded. Hope all is well in TX and you’re out finding! Thanks for joining us!
Thank you Roberta! I was super happy that not only did he find his first point, he found a few. I wish that Celt had the but end, but that’s how it goes.
Congratulations Mike, Stellar Finds, my first point was a very crude quartz point with a broke base, but I felt blessed to find it, been bit by head hunting ever since, Hope You Are As Well, 365 headhunter sent me one of those fossils, I thought it was a bead lol, still learning about fossils Thanks For Sharing, GL&HH 👊🏹
It definitely starts a lifelong addiction, but it’s a good one! You just never know what you might find out there. It’s always exciting! Those Crinoid fossils are always a cool find. That had to be the biggest one I’d ever found. Thanks for coming along!!
That’s a good day when your finding artifacts in a field of corn that’s over your head. We can’t do that in Central KY because the weeds grow up too fast. Your friend will have the artifact bug now that he’s found a few. Happy Hunting!!
Thank you sir! I’m sure he’ll cherish those finds for a long time and I’m sure you’re right. That won’t be his last hunt. The corn is definitely a different type of walking, but it can pay off. Hope you’re still able to get out. Best of luck as always!
Great job guys and congrats! I love a good tall corn hunt. Hopefully in a few more weeks here in NE Iowa I'll be out looking. Happy hunting and I hope your next find is your best! Keep on keepin on!
It’s always an adventure getting out in the corn. Just never know what you’ll walk up on. Worth going nonetheless. Hopefully you’ll be able to get out and I hope you find your best find! Good luck and thanks for watching!
Thank you!! He definitely had a good day and I was impressed that he made it through it all. Persistence paid off that day. Definitely worth it. Thanks for joining us.
Nice video of your friend's first hunt. I'm sure these won't be the last of his finds. I'm leaning toward celt on your broken piece based on thickness and material but I've also seen holes drilled in those pieces. By the way you are a warrior hunting in standing corn. That's a slow process but glad it paid off for you. Best wishes.
I definitely agree on the polished hard stone piece. Thinking broken Celt unfortunately. Found a broken grooved axe in the same field this Spring. They don’t come easy that’s for sure. My buddy was ecstatic about his finds. I was very happy to have been a part of that. Thanks for watching and commenting as always Tom! Hope all is well.
Congratulations guys, and to your buddy on his first point, he will be ringing your phone now, when are we going again, you got him hooked, you got to take him, enjoyed the video, good luck on your next adventure.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. It was just as much fun watching him find his first couple points as it is walking up on one myself. True excitement! Best of luck to you as well!!
I hear ya! It definitely starts an obsession that doesn’t go away. I’m sure glad it doesn’t either! It’s the best hobby as far as I’m concerned. Thanks for watching and commenting as always!
Definitely could have been. I was thinking Celt missing the bit end. Unfortunately I’ll never know. Just how it goes I guess and why we keep going. Thank you joining our hunt.
.There must be a lot of heat and itching inside that cornfield. It is incredible how those of us who love arrowheads find them wherever they are. We just need to smell them. Dude that was a great hunt. You are a great connoisseur. The 10.14 artifact I have no idea what it is, I don't understand English, can you tell me what it is? Greetings to all the family.
The cornfield definitely isn’t the best walking conditions, but you can’t find them sitting at home, so we go anyway…😄 The piece at 10:14 is just a fossil of a plant basically from millions of years ago when everything here was covered in shallow seas. Pretty cool. Thanks as always for coming along and commenting! Really appreciate you and loved your recent finds!
@@artifactaddiction Jjajajaja very good answer about the cornfield and thanks for your kind answer about the fossil. Blessings and happy weekend with your family.
Your friend took over for Tika's luck lol! Congrats to him on his first finds, great way to start off! I would also assume that the hardstone piece you found was a broken celt. Glad you were able to scoop a couple up as well! Best of luck to you guys
Thanks for coming along! I agree on the broken Celt. It’s super polished and really unfortunate the bit is gone. I was happy my buddy was able to find a few too. He was just hoping to find some flakes…lol
It definitely has it’s ups and downs. Kept us out of the sun for the most part too. I knew that was a good site, so the potential was there. Definitely paid off. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I thought I vas the only nut that walked through the mature corn for a point! I take an umbrella to part the leaves and push the corn spiders to the side. I had just come out of the last row headed home and looked at my phone and all of a sudden I didn’t feel so crazy. Found a front quarter of a smalll Celt and a broken tip for my sweat equity today. Come on Combines!
That’s awesome John! Glad to know there’s someone else out there crazy too!..lol. It can definitely pay off as it did here. I knew this was a good site and I hadn’t looked it in that particular spot after they planted. Hope you find a killer on your next outing!
Hey my awesome NEW friend. I joined your family and dropped off a huge new Jersey USA size like. I am usually active with channels that are active with my channel. Have a philnominal day smile and laugh often and always.
I've walked thru high corn like this a few times and it's not much fun. Usually the rows are to close and all your doing is parting the corn. To much stubble on the ground to even see anything. Plus the bugs, spiders and the heat and humidity, makes it pretty miserable. It's not so bad if you find something, but for me it's just not worth it.
I know what you mean Mark. It’s definitely not the most glamorous of walking conditions, but worth it when it pays off. I knew this was a good site that I hadn’t walked since planting and figured it had great potential. Thanks for the support! We appreciate that.
Good job helping Mike start his new addiction. LOL Great video !! Thanks for sharing.
No kidding right?!?!….😂 I’m sure he will have fun with it no matter what. Thanks for coming along!
@@artifactaddiction My pleasure brother.

Well done great video enjoyed
Glad you enjoyed it. That was a fun day searching through the corn. Very successful too!
Great finds guys! I think it was cool as it could be hunting in the standing corn. Continued good luck up there.
Thank you! It definitely was worth the effort that day. Hoping to get another hunt in while the corn is still standing. We’ll see.. Appreciate you coming along and your support!
Awesome finds, and awesome video. It's fun to see new comers to the hobby and how they react.

Nice day, especially for the conditions!
The conditions were definitely less than ideal, but we pushed through and were definitely rewarded. Hope all is well in TX and you’re out finding! Thanks for joining us!
@@artifactaddiction Too busy with book stuff to go hunting these days.
Two thumbs up for your efforts, never had the “pleasure” of walking the tall 🌽,
😎😎😎
Thank you!! It was definitely worth the effort. Hard work, but it paid off. Not the most glamorous however.
Great video! What a beautiful footage. Thanks for sharing, have a wonderful weekend. A new friend

Thanks Mike!! It was definitely a fun day seeing someone successful at something they’ve hoped to accomplish for some time now. Good feeling!

I would say that super polished piece was probably either a gorget or a banner stone

Walking the tall corn has its advantage, it keeps each person in their lane.
