7:57, gun flint without a doubt. Great find. Picked one up in Suffolk, England back in the 80's when I was stationed there. Found it behind the river wall on the Alde.

Being in Indiana and an avid arrowhead hunter myself, I thoroughly enjoy watching you guys hunting some Indiana points!! Not that there's anything wrong with Michigan points... I have also enjoyed hunting morels in Wexford County Michigan my whole life so we do have a lot in common. Keep up the good work with your videos, I truly truly enjoy them. 🙂🙂

Thank you! Much appreciated!! We definitely love looking for artifacts in the Indiana soil. I enjoy looking here as well, but it’s night and day difference in quantity for us. We have made some great friends in Indiana through the years as well. Michigan certainly has the Morels though…😃 Superb fishing too.

Man, you guys are on fire! Lots of nice points! I always wanted to get on a historic site like that...we don't really have many early post-contact sites around here. It looks like an English gun flint, the French ones were honey colored. There were also Dutch and Nordic gunflints, but that would be extremely rare. Of course, just because it is an English gun flint doesn't mean it had anything to with English soldiers. The settlers bought European flints for their guns, so it could have been an early American settler in the area, it could have been a British soldier, and it could have been a historic Native American since they were all using flintlocks in that era too. Pretty cool regardless.
