Very excellent! I have been working on these two tunes with the John Renbourn DVD. The master. But quite honestly, your playing the song, and the camera angle, I find it equally as useful if not moreso then the lesson on the DVD. Count me in to join your Patreon page. We’d obviously love to have you over there. I used the relevant performance video of John as the basis of my work but so often the artists evolve past their original interpretation, and I usually like to base my work off of the original recordings which sometimes offer a fresh new look at these classics.
Thank you Randy. This month I'm investing a big amount into new camera gear, been using 15 year old equipment. Things should be 4k moving forward and hoping to focus on more artful production. Very hard to do as a one-man show.
If pressed to give an opinion I’d probably say Gm is my favorite open tuning. Good to hear from you guys I keep going over to Jim Brown’s website to look at the OM shade top you made. Such a beautiful instrument.
@@andrewlardner thanks! we love OMs. Actually, our love for OMs comes originally from being great fans of John Renbourn. We got to meet the guy a few times, play his Franklin OM (extra lights and action below the frets!) and even got to be the sound guys at one of his gigs near here once. I think it was one of the last times he made it to Italy before he passed. Actually, we even bootlegged him (with his permission!)... must have that DAT tape lying in some box somewhere... Your rendition of his arrangements here is spot on!
Beautiful. Downright perfect. I have been a huge fan of Renbourn since Pentangle. Bert Jansch, too. You are really a fingerstyle master. Your students are fortunate. What’s the tuning on this piece?
Very helpful and superbly played. Thanks Andrew.
Really beautiful, and beautiful guitar!
Beautifully played
Brilliant work. The guitar sounds wonderful!
Merci pour cette magnifique interprétation ..
That is one stunning guitar, and perfectly suited to your arrangement.
Lovely
Perfect
Excellent really.

Magnífico! Bravo!
sounds good!!! 🐈🎁
great version!
A couple of open G Minor classics! Nice addition of harmonics at the end. I don't recall Renbourn doing that.
Thank you. I based this presentation on the version from The Hermit which has that particular ending.
Que interpretação maravilhosa.
Superb 👏
Absolutely amazing!
Thank you Remo
Thanks Remo for sending me the link to these three pieces of art: the composition, the execution and the lovely sounding guitar!
Beautiful and amazing. As usual. Thanks Andy!
Thank you Andrew - as always well done!!
Great playing.
I’d love to see you do some Pelican stuff, ever try ping pong nails for the full on Renbourn effect?😂…Great playing on this one
Beautiful!! As wonderful to watch almost, as to listen!

Well that was epic! Awesome.

Ah John Renbourn and open G minor. Can’t go wrong with any of those

The only thing missing is a smile from mr. Lardner.
