No, its not reacting. The 918 is too fast to react. When youre reacting, youre no longer driving. What nico did is anticipating, and making steeringinputs, knowing how the car will react to HIS inputs, before it gets a chance to slide or anything like that. He is truly driving
It's more of a subconscious act. So it is a reaction to what is happening but not a conscious one because the reaction time is too long for that.
I can't comment on the reaction time, but the sheer speed of the movement is impressive.
It's almost surreal that a former F1 world champion has an active youtube channel and uploads amazing content on it. I'm so glad you have this channel, and it really helps us know you better. Cheers, Nico!

That’s why pro drivers are so much faster than us mere mortals. Reacting to the car wanting to slide, before it even started. So impressive. You need more of these videos on your channel!
It’s a shame that we don’t see Porsche in F1 competing with Mercedes and Ferrari would’ve awesome to watch.

It is a pleasure to watch a truly elite driver like Nico really push himself in a road car. There are only a handful of people in the world at any given time that can drive like that.
I have never been a huge Nico Rosberg fan (though i suuurely prefered you over some teammate of yours) but at the 2:36 - 2:38 I see a proper driver shutting down the rest of the world and focusing on the driving itself. A fire ignited by that 918 and suddenly you went to a whole other place. I like seeing real drivers forgetting there even is a camera there. More of this, please!

There is something a little bit magical about this video. I watch a lot of hypercar content, but this is unquestionably one of the best videos I have seen of this type. As others have mentioned, there are a lot of amazingly fast cars out there, but there are very few people capable of driving them in this way. You were totally on the ragged edge. You can really feel.... almost taste the excitement, thrill and fulfilment the car gave to you guys. Archie is an accomplished driver in his own right, but he sounds like an excited schoolboy who's never been in a fast car before. Its genuine and makes for compelling viewing. Raw emotion and wonder. Its a beautiful thing. Get behind the wheel of more supercars Nico. Your channel will fly if you do

Ich konnte einmal in einem GT2RS auf einer Rennstrecke bei einem echt guten Fahrer mitfahren. Ich würde sagen, dass war die tollste Erfahrung meines Lebens. Jetzt kann ich endlich bei onboard Videos richtig mitfühlen, aber das hier sieht echt next-Level mäßig aus. Mein Respekt vor deinen Fahrkünsten ist gerade ins unermessliche gestiegen, Respekt!
Kurz gesagt, das Video hat mich verdammt glücklich gemacht!

When Nico Rosberg comments on a car and its performance, it carries a lot more weight than when Jay or Chris or other amateur drivers, talented as they are, tell you how great this or that feels. Nico has driven F1 cars flat out; you can't get better than that.

Although I'll be honest that you were not my favorite driver when you were actively racing in F1, you are now my favorite UA-camr and I really love the positive message you are bringing to all of us through all the things that you do. What a adrenaline fueled video! Executed so well with Archie Hamilton! I have so much respect for your accomplishments as a Formula 1 champion and entrepreneur. It would be so unique to see you play a role as a Jedi Master to connect with Archie as he earns his way into racing again. Perhaps some practice sessions and testing for Formula E or another series. Everybody loves a comeback and an under dog that breaks out big the second time around. Thank you for all the very cool content you are producing. Bottas really shows how good Nico was in F1. An actual challenge for Lewis. I wasnt a big fan of him but seeing him manhandle that Porsche was insane.
An absolutely incredible video. The skill you posses is not something can be learned. It's innate and you show that. You're reaction to the car's position and speed is fluid and poetic. What you do is artistic.

There afe two things that surprised me in this video.
Seeing you back on a racetrack having fun, for one. Never thought i see that again, since you keep saying you dont miss " the driving part".
Seriusly, Nico... for a second (on that edit) i could see you with a crash helmet and racing suit grinning like a maniac.
The second thing, your habdling of the car. Ive watched houndred of hours of onboards, but this is one of few that showed a master at his craft. (As an F1 champion i do consider you a master of the [race/driving] craft)
That was seriusly inpressive.
Dont know if you had space down there, but i would have loved a foot cam. Watching your hand and footwork, plus the regular incar footage would have been terrific.
