No, its not reacting. The 918 is too fast to react. When youre reacting, youre no longer driving. What nico did is anticipating, and making steeringinputs, knowing how the car will react to HIS inputs, before it gets a chance to slide or anything like that. He is truly driving
It's more of a subconscious act. So it is a reaction to what is happening but not a conscious one because the reaction time is too long for that.
I can't comment on the reaction time, but the sheer speed of the movement is impressive.
It's almost surreal that a former F1 world champion has an active youtube channel and uploads amazing content on it. I'm so glad you have this channel, and it really helps us know you better. Cheers, Nico!

I have never been a huge Nico Rosberg fan (though i suuurely prefered you over some teammate of yours) but at the 2:36 - 2:38 I see a proper driver shutting down the rest of the world and focusing on the driving itself. A fire ignited by that 918 and suddenly you went to a whole other place. I like seeing real drivers forgetting there even is a camera there. More of this, please!

Yes that video was great, I was one of those who were annoyed about not seeing raw footage of Nico's driving but loved the edit on this one!
Ich konnte einmal in einem GT2RS auf einer Rennstrecke bei einem echt guten Fahrer mitfahren. Ich würde sagen, dass war die tollste Erfahrung meines Lebens. Jetzt kann ich endlich bei onboard Videos richtig mitfühlen, aber das hier sieht echt next-Level mäßig aus. Mein Respekt vor deinen Fahrkünsten ist gerade ins unermessliche gestiegen, Respekt!

Bennet Konietzko ; i'll explain to you why nico and a lot of other people say Porsch and not Porsche, even though Nico is German , there's 2 reasons why 1. From a British point of view it's to do with the Americans because they don't pronounce jaguar properly and they know it winds up the British so the British say Porsch to wind up the Americans because it winds them up 2. It's just a short abbreviation of the full name of the car and we ( ALL ) do this with other car brands, for example; when you see a nice Lamborghini you'll say nice Lambo, Mercedes-Benz nice Merc, Rolls Royce nice rolls, Jaguar nice jag, etc etc, so when you see a nice Porsche you say nice Porsch, that's all it is, no need to get upset my friend, hopefully that's helped you to understand why
