Love antiquing with you, with or without music! Love the vintage Christmas finds, my daughter has become a lover of vintage finds from the 50’s. Recently found a little dessert cookbook from 1956 and a turning Christmas tree holder from the 50’s.
I just got home from going to a large antique store. I was there with my daughter and grandchildren. And then I see your video and you have your mom and your son with you. That’s fun. I had a list of things that I was looking for brass candlestick holders And shiny bright ornaments. Watching you walk through your antique store. I saw a lot more ornaments than I found today and also several candlestick holders. If I lived anywhere close to that antique store, I would drive to look at those ornaments and purchase some. Your mom looked to have a lot of fun. Happy new year. Thanks for the great video.

You are very smart, Elizabeth, getting your sweet baby boy into shopping early on! He’s such a good baby. My sister, Gaye, did that with her first baby and Darren was her shopping buddy for years when she didn’t live near me. I loved all the copper pieces and the blue willow ones. You definitely should get a little spice cabinet with multi drawers and sixty for the one you saw is a very good price. Great to see your mom and I enjoyed the video. Btw, you are looking wonderful (new mom glow?).
Hi Elizabeth , your mom and baby, I so enjoyed this. There were beautiful things in there. I just broke my little bubble flower bud thing. I love your ice bucket. I want some vintage ornaments…beautiful ones there. I like the Santas. The two hundred fifty dollar cabinets were amazing. The most beautiful in the whole store and the most precious and sweetest had to be your baby❤❤❤❤
I spent holiday break antiquing just south of Cedar Springs. New area for me as I live up near Traverse. Had a wonderful time just browsing. What is your favorite area to shop?
I lived in Traverse City for many years, but only really shopped at the antique store downtown because I wasn’t really into antiques when I lived there. I really like Bay City’s antique mall.
@@oldmaplehome Agree.. I am actually in Manton so I only go to TC for downtown. Antique shops. I love Bay City shops also. Always detour after the Midland Antique Show. Thank you for sharing your wonderful finds with us. Can't wait to see how you style your finds in 2025.

Good morning Elizabeth! Well you have the most adorable passenger ever! Look at those cheeks!🥰 My FIL use to collect The hurricane lamps & had them in all sizes. When he passed they were given to us. So I've added to them over the past couple years & have a nice little collection, all sizes & colors! I think they're so pretty! Oh I want a campfire marshmallow tin, but they're always way over my budget! The premium saltine tin right beside it, i have one just like that. Growing up, for as long as i can remember, my mom kept her saltines in one just like it & i really wanted one. Someone found it & mailed it to me.🥹 I loved every lamp on that shelf with the 2 little ones you liked!! Lol my husband says I'm A lamp hoarder.. but I'm not, I'm a collector😁 And I do use them! The ornaments are like the Old World ornaments, but the original vintage ones are glass. That's the kind I would love to find for my vintage tree next year, and maybe some vintage or vintage looking wooden ornaments. I want to do a vintage tree with those ornaments & velvet bows next year. Tons of railroad lanterns there too! I collect those as well. Lol anything to do with light it seems😄 I love little wooden stools. We were in NC, our hometown, with my MIL for Christmas. Her sister passed away several weeks ago & her kids are selling her house & pretty much everything that's in it. They each kept a couple of things. But she had A lot of vintage things. We took my MIL over to get a hutch & sewing machine & the told me to get whatever i wanted! I picked up mostly decor & a casserole dish. I got this old wooden stool that's square & the top opens for storage. It's just raw wood so i think I'm either going to paint or stain it. Oh goodness.. baby boy was telling us hello! So precious🥰 OMGG that's the exact copper canister set I've been wanting for over a year & haven't found a set yet!🫤 I'd sure grab that set quickly! After 7+mths we've finally found a house & we'll be moving in the end of this month!🙌🏻 My Apt in TN was pretty small & the house we're moving in to is much larger. I've always wanted A hutch but never had room for one in either of the homes I've lived in. Soon as we're settled, a hutch will be one of the first things on top of my hunt list!😉 I love those copper jelly molds! Those are the nicer ones, that have the brass hook. I found a few at a GW here in Florida a couple months ago! The town we're moving to, only 20min from my son's where we've been staying, is called Plant City. Its where they have tons of strawberry fields & they have a huge festival every year. Its on A fair ground, they have a complete fair, tons of vendors, a pavilion with bands, etc. They also have "vintage market days" every year. I've been to the strawberry festival several times, but I'm real excited for the vintage market days this year! Ohh my that cabinet sat 24:02 was gorgeous! Ohh wow.. I'd love to see all the war pieces! My dad was a WWII people heart marine vet. He was die hard marine til the day he left this earth🥹 The Delft molds were gorgeous!💙 Haven't seen one of those in a long time! My MIL was a seamstress for many years, she owned her own alterations shop for 30+yrs until a couple years ago when she retired. She does some things out of her home now. She has 2 of the dress forms in her bedroom & if i have room in my bedroom for one I'm hoping she'll sell me in of them!🤞🏼I love those little wall cabinets or spice cabinets with the tiny drawers too! I picked up a little cabinet along with that old stool. Its A olive green color with 2 little drawers on bottom & it has little doors with wire you can see thru, there's 2 shelves inside the doors & a shelf across the top, with 4 pegs at the bottom. Its A great little piece! I have a small tobacco basket, but I've wanted a large one for a long time! Lots of great wood pieces there! That cabinet at 29:00 really is gorgeous!😮 Those pieces with the beveled glass you guys were looking at were stunning! Great haul Elizabeth! The ornaments & copper canister set.. were my fav of course, pieces I'm looking for myself!😊 Thanks for taking us along, those stores were awesome! I pray you have a blessed week!🙏🏻

@@Jean-sv6kkMy mom was only forty nine when she died. I hate to say this but I have always gotten so jealous seeing girls with their moms shopping or going to lunch. It has been years and years ago, but still miss her. ❤❤❤❤So sorry for your loss.
I bought an entire set of putz houses at a yard sale for 1.00 each!! I tried not to act excited although inside I was screaming ohmygod!! My daughter enjoys them everyear.

@oldmaplehome yes definitely I did it's ok God get me though every day 🙏 to be honest I worn glasses since I was 1 and at 12 years old when I started high-school my told me I was legal blind could never drive and now as I get older eventually I ll lose my sight .but I wake up tell God thank u for letting me see another day.my faith is strong and have amazing church and very bless with amazing neaibor behind me.i apologize am just humble with blessing God gives me
