Crowne Plaza Penang opened to the public on 1 August 2024, and I finally had a chance to do a walk-through to show you the hotel inside and out.

Thanks for sharing!! Many Penangnites are still having mental block about venturing across the mainland!! Suppose the light rail will change this when it’s built!! 🤷🏻‍♂️

Has anything else opened at Straits City? I'm worried that staying at this hotel will mean still using taxis often.

As of now, things are in the midst of opening up, but Jalan Bagan Luar is a major road with many businesses nearby.
