I've been binging your videos alongside my studying as a finals prep and I must say, your students are incredibly lucky to have you. I have learned so much more and so much more intuitively from watching your videos than I have in my actual course
Your video lectures are very helpful. They’ve been quite easy to understand. Ps:What a handsome math Professor, one doesn’t see that occur much in the wild.
OMG this really helped! My teacher just gives us notes and doesn't teach so I had to look up the videos to help. This video though made me understand almost entirely by the end! Thank you so much! I can finnaly do my homework now 😭🙏
Maybe I'm being picky but the audio is not good and good audio is important for concentration. There are de-rooming plugins that would remove the reverberation of the audio.
Thank you Sir so much for these videos! With the quarantine due to covid-19 going on, my college is having online classes, and I missed my first discrete math class by accident -_- (they said class would commence on 6th April but there was an ongoing class on 2nd April that I wasn't aware of). I've made notes from the powerpoint slides my lecturer has uploaded, and I'm using them to study and recap along with your videos! Thank you for being such a dedicated and passionate math professor! I appreciate it :D I am a freshman btw, which explains the confusion of how i missed my first class with the new software/platform my college is using. And I'm also a Computer Science student 😆 I feel terrible as they take attendance seriously, but oh well I'm just going to focus on doing well in my exams. Thank you once again!!! ❤
This lesson could use an example of what "p and q" could represent... for example, you can get a drivers' license if you're 16 years old AND you pass the driving test. Then look at how individual conditions being T vs F affect the statement "you can get a drivers' license".
Why True or True is True? How to explain this to students? It seems like True or True would be False. For example: I will eat rice or lentils...if I eat both, the statement is true?
when you take discrete math at first thera so many new terms which makes no sense after you spend on programming for a while .. idk if thats the case only with me ?
An "and" statement, in order to be true has to have both of it's components as true. If either one of the component variables are false, then the whole conjunction statement is false. An "or", or disjunction statement, can be true if either one of the component variables are true.
I just passed my math final exam, and thus my class thanks to your videos. Thank you so much, Dr. Bazett.
Great job!

Had to watch the video twice because first time I kept trying to figure out how the hell were you making those tables appear out of the thin air

thank you for the help! it helped me because i missed class due to illness... thanks again pal! youve earned my sub
omg, this was so much better at breaking down truth tables and even what the differences are plus the symbols. thank you so much
Youre videos are definitely going to help with ny discrete math test tomorrow thanks!!!
your classroom is futuristic!
Thank you for this series! I just started Discrete Mathematics and watch your videos on my lunch breaks at work! It's very helpful
Looking forward to your comment at the end, have fun!

Your videos are crucial, thanks a million
he inverts everything from the camera
@@lordapple177 i was wondering that...
My exams tomorrow and I skipped the lecture on this bless ur soul
Did you pass
😂😂
same here lol
Ong same
I'm studying for a comprehensive MA exam in linguistics and this video 100% helped me finally understand truth tables. Thank you sir.

You are literally saving my grade thank you so much
thank you so much. you explain better than my professor.
You teach symbolic logic better than my professor!
Glad it helped!
Great work, it is really difficult to be sure where to write in these small boxes!
Thank you very much! I'm getting ready for finals and this is very helpful
Best of luck!
I switch the subtitles on and when you said “True”, it would understand “Fruit” lmao

Couldn't sign in to my own instructors Webex video. This is helpful, thanks.
Thanks so much for the explanation now I see it.... So easy now
@treforbazett hello do you have any videos on the statements ? An explanation of phrases?
Thanks for this great understanding put more videos
mans is clutching up my midterm
are you writing backward?! this is impressive... and helpful!
no, the image is mirrored
nah he’s writing backwards
Great teacher. thanks

When you realize he has to write backwards for us to see it the right way, thanks for all the effort!
you can invert the video on camera or edit 😭
Thanks for introduction
What is the software you are using for writing all this stuff? To the viewer it looks like a transparent board?
It IS a big transparent board! Then overplayed with a PowerPoint.
are you really good at writing backwards or is there some kind of technique that i'm not creative enough to figure out?
Excellent, thank you for this.
Glad you enjoyed it!

thank you for these videos, I'm wandering is there a website or link contains test&answers so I can check my understanding?
If P is true, then does that imply that ~P is the same as P = False as in the last two cases of the truth table for P?
Thanks sir,
Finally understood ❤
Amazing.
Great! Thanks so much!
you are the best
I learned this many times, but repetetion does not hurt.
Why maths is always confusing 🤦🙆🤷
Where can I get access to practice problems?
r you writing backwards? you are working really hard. thanks for your kind efforts!
the video is mirrored
on the or* since it or* can you put it either ( T or F) in P= F,T q= T,F scenario
Why True or True is True? How to explain this to students? It seems like True or True would be False. For example: I will eat rice or lentils...if I eat both, the statement is true?
is it true to say that a negation can be a property in relation to its counterpart?
Lol..I came here for conjunct and disjunct melodic motion (Music and Songwriting). Great job, wrong channel....
Is this even used in real life scenerios ?
when you take discrete math at first thera so many new terms which makes no sense after you spend on programming for a while .. idk if thats the case only with me ?
Thank you so much it helped me understand it better!
How do you determine that P and Q were both False in the conjuction table?
An "and" statement, in order to be true has to have both of it's components as true. If either one of the component variables are false, then the whole conjunction statement is false.
An "or", or disjunction statement, can be true if either one of the component variables are true.
"and" is conjunction, but "or" is disjunction, right?
nice video im watching from iraq 🙃
you are amazing
oh no!! our truth table! it's broken!
hey.. I just have a question.. How you are going to learn that the premise is true or false.. I am confused with tha
that
I would argue that (P ^ Q )→ (P v Q ~ T)
I need to know how you made this video lmao
“This suit is a Not black………NOT!”
