Well done with the 165 lads. A thoughtful, sympathetic restoration. I like the way ye didnt loose the character of the tractor with lots of memories of the tractors past kept. Keep up the good work 👍
@eamondempsey3018 Thanks Eamon.. It was important for us to keep the character and history of the tractor. It has a lot of sentimental value above anything else 👍
Hello from New Zealand! That's a very nice job you've done! I like the fact that you have done a sympathetic restoration to keep the history of the tractor! It'll be great to see the tractor combined with the cultivator!
@JamesMitchell-ei9qy Thanks. Unfortunately, the cultivator will be far too big and heavy for the 165. It will need 120hp at least. Thanks for watching 👍
Great video. It’s fabulous to have the tractor and block of land to use it on… even if the appearance of the tractor changed a little for it’s necessary preservation and upkeep it sounds and drives the same as before. Keep up the good work.
Great job there Alan, you boys made a tidy job of the 165. Fit a new white exhaust, I might have to do the same after taking stick for an incorrect black one!!! That grubber is built to last!!!
@@AgrimotiveFarmMachineryCan you get the correct muffler for it? MF sold them here with 18.4X28 rears, 750x16 fronts on cast centres and a swinging draw bar as a farming tractor. Lots of people had them but they weren’t as tough as the Chamberlain 9G. They were a nice tractor though and you have done a good job saving that one. Jeff.
A great job Mate, I'd fit a new correct white exhaust. I got a correct two piece one for my 35 and had it ceramic coated a nice bronze colour (OK it should be silver, but it looks the biz). That cultivator is great, top work for your Son. I've fabricated a lot of them over the years, including machines like furrow presses.
@@AgrimotiveFarmMachinery I saw ye at the Run in Wilkistown a couple of weeks ago was going say hello but you were busy chatting. We were over from Monasterboice with a 35 TVO. My son was driving
@johncallaghan3367 Ah, very good, thanks for going to support it. Wayne Smith was my 2nd cousin. Don't be afraid to ever say hello if you see me out and about again.. I love catching up with viewers 👍
@@AgrimotiveFarmMachinery wow thats amazing! I look forwards into restoring my grandpas 165 multi power. I cant even know what year it was from because the serial number is gone all i know is it has 55hp not 58hp like the others

@@AgrimotiveFarmMachinery Sorry OfCourse - I can see now that the cultivator is way too big for a 60 hp tractor!

@johnsweeney1712 Thanks John 😊

Nice one Alan
That's a great bit of family history

That cultivator harrow should match it real nicely
@patodwyer721 Thanks Pat.. I don't think it will be able for the cultivator though 🙈

@FlyingFergyMan Thanks Cathal. Yes, I think a new white one is going to be the best option. 👌

Great job! A lot of work (and €€€) but we'll worth it!
A set of new reflectors for the back maybe ?
@philipoconnor2236 Yes most likely. Thanks 👍
Mighty job Alan and Evan, fair play to Ye, 165 turned out very well💯👌👍🙏
