I just started Clear Correct in Japan. My doctor choosen it instead of Invisalign because thick brackets of Clear Correct fit to move my back teeth. Cost is 8,000 USD which is same price to Invisalign. Clear Correct is not common in Japan and still expensive. But I think it is valuable if I can get perfect teeth.
My tooth is not in a very bad shape. Just a little overbite on the front. Only 4 teeth. And 2 teeth at the bottom are thin and shaky. I just want to start taking care of them now so that I'll have good set teeth even in my 70s.
I am doing as much as I can to inform about the cost of post treatment retainers. I needed to replace mine after about 1 year. The cost was $750 with insurance and even higher without it. Dentist said cost is determined by my insurance, Clear Correct says it is the dentist that sets the cost. Something is very wrong.
I'm currently using a clear aligner method and it leaves your mouth sore for a few days when you start each tray, especially in the first 3 days, but pain meds and eating softer foods and drinking cold water help
@@Dilkibatyn1O1 I'm from the USA, Closer to New York, I am using Smile Direct (Although I stopped for a bit because my life got crazy busy) With the company I went with, trimming the aligners with scissors and files (or an electric file) helps to keep the aligners from digging into my gums. Insurance companies do not set the cost of your new retainers. That is determined by your dentist and the lab used to fabricate the appliance.

It’s gradual, not all at once. It takes months, so you shouldn’t notice it I think
