    Even though it's technically supposed to be used without an amp, and not meant to be used as a stomp box going into an amplifier, it makes an awesome stomp box going into an amplifier.

  • @smoss469

    I like that you're doing a lot of the demos with the same guitar and amp. It adds continuity to your base tone in each video that a lot of people don't think about.

    that actually sounds really good, i wasn't expecting that much from a behringer.

    This seems really cool for the price point. I'm also a fan of the DigiTech rp series. They're fantastic. Great shredding toneking . Nice to see a UA-camr in the guitar community with a bunch of amps and guitars and gear but can actually use it and shred! Lol it's a breath of fresh air. I love your reviews. The behringer pedal reviews were awesome too. The vintage tube Ibanez clone seems awesome too

    someone's been practicing their Yngwie licks... sounds cool!
    Behringer's rack V-Amp 2 is only $169, which is an absolutely freakin' AMAZING deal, and since it's in an all-metal 19" rack form factor, there's less(zero?) chance of damage to the unit like a floor-based stompbox. Yeah, it's somewhat outdated, but good tone - which it is fully capable of - never goes out of style.

    I got the tube modeler pedal, unbelievably true tone tm300 kicks ass. For 25 bucks nowadays you can't get fresh air, not a great pedal. The only low side is that you cant dime all knobs because of the beeping sound coming thru, but that's hardly an issue

    the key to any modeler is how it accurately portrays the clean channel at the verge of breakup and the cabinet.. shame so much time was spent with drive at full...

    Have you tried to put the modulation and time-based pedal before gdi21 in a signal chain order? If you did, what’s the end result? 🤘🤘🤘

  • @TonyHookedonVanlife
    @TonyHookedonVanlife 14 років тому +1

    @smoss469 - yeah, I had the V-Amp2 bean too, quite a good unit, much better than its given credit for. Then I got the POD X3. That was a BIG step up! Now I play thru the Digitech GSP1101 rack preamp. Amp modeling has really come a long way... as long as people learn how to operate em. When people who post about em online, it's wicked easy to tell who didn't know what they were doing and just blamed the gear. LOL

    yet anther great demo... bow to the king! a question: which effects to use to get the Shellac/Big Black sound? i have tried and tried and tried and still no combo can even slightly emulate it. is it the tube amp? been searchin around net, looking at live performances and still nuttin. help appreciated.

    If you guys don't like what you're seeing , than I wonder why you didn't select a different video to watch in your uploads feed instead of coming on here and whining. He's trying to show you what the pedal can do. rather than people just showing off their shredding chops and not really giving any insight on the piece of gear. I thought playing as fast and technically as possible went out in the 80s?

    • @123spleege
      @123spleege 5 років тому

      unfortunately, he is NOt showing what the pedal can do. He doesn't go into the direct capabilities and because he is playing the same crap over and over you are not getting a variety of guitar tone which is important on this particular pedal or any demo for that matter... You might want to check your ears for any leftover spunk from your last facial

    The Brit + Hot Wired combination reminds me a little to a 5150 sound. I mean, it feels heavy enough to play metal and crunchy enough to play hard rock. It's a great combination.
    Sadly, you'll need a Cabinet simulator for this pedal, it is meant to be used directly into a mixer o PC input, but that didn't work well for me.
    Anyway, I have it and it's great!

      Brit.
      Hot.
      Off X.
      Too high on treble is awful. Too high on the bass is awful. There is definitely a sweet spot, and I chug away like its nobody's business

    Thank-you so much for all the amazing videos! They are very much appreciated by me and everyone else. I also have a request: Could you maybe do and extremley in depth review of the DB-01 Crybaby from hell. I still haven't seen any great quality videos that go into fine detail and you seem like you would be the best at giving it a fair review from your large amount of knowledge of the music world. Again thank-you for all the great videos, they are truly amazing!

    As a soundtech you don't care wether it's Behringer or Sansamp... this peace of gear is cheap and great... not great for the price... no.. just plain great!! To make it fit in the mix is then our business... and this gear does it!! In clean, in breakup and in crunch whatever!!

  • @Dvqwerty
    @Dvqwerty 11 років тому

    when it's on, it reduces hum caused by the ground circuit. this hum isn't always present, but with a box like this, it's usually a good idea to just keep on the ground lift, especially if you are using it as a DI box (through its XLR output)

    Sir I have a question hopefully you can point me in the right direction. I just got my first Les Paul is the mail. N as you can imagine I'll excited to try it. I tightened the strings up and tuned it but noticed I have a twangy sounds. I looked at the action and my low e is touching the first fret. Since there is no sadles like a strat the conclusion I came to is to raise the stop bar tail piece by turning it counter clockwise to raise it? Would this be the correct course of action? Any advice from the tone king would be greatly appreciated

    Hello, i have question, can this pedal be used to connect a microphone to it an use it as a "pre-amp" to empower the micrphone?? At this moment i connect my microphone to a Reverb peda an then to my amplifier Fender 25r, and it sounds great but it sounds with "Low volume" compared to the moment when I connect my guitar ..... do you think this will make the microphone sound as LOUD as my guitar ???
