Hi J.B. - thanks for the question. Like most bar tape there is an adhesive section on the back of the really long bar tape that helps hold it in place as you wrap. You can remove the tape and rewrap but it is also possible that some of the adhesive section will stay on the bar or on the tape that it was covering. If you just wrapped it or are in the process or wrapping it then it is much easier to back off and start again but if the tape has been on the bar for some time it makes it a good bit harder to remove it cleanly. Thanks
Note that if you would like maintain commonly advised direction of wrapping then on the left top part of the bar you will overlap text on the tape and it will look different in comparison with right one. By commonly advised I mean that on the top part you should go towards the rider.
You are definitely correct and something we have thought about but in the end decided that it looked interesting to have no logo on the tops so didn't really mind if that happened. Thanks for the feedback!
you can absolutely use any bar tape that will work for you. When you get really wide bars (47cm +) you might find that standard tape is a bit of a stretch for the length but as long as you can get a good wrap you can use whatever tape you prefer. thanks
Thanks for the question. The drop grips fit on standing drop bars which have a diameter of 23.8mm. The inside of the grip matches this diameter. So, the inside diameter of the grip at the end is 23.8. But, the inside diameter of the handlebar which is where the end cap would actually fit is generally around 14-18mm but it depends on the handlebar. Thanks
@@schooloflifedropout6662 so for the kitchen sink handlebar the inner diameter at the drops is right around 20mm. But, keep in mind that this can vary across production runs and even within a batch - its common for there to be a range for drop bars. If you need to fit something exactly in the bar then it is probably safest to get one and do an exact measurement on that one.
Could do with more detail on getting around the brake hoods.
Seriously, that's the most complicated part of the wrap and they skipped it!
Is it possible to unwrap the tape and then rewrap it? Even if you had it installed on the bar for some time?

Can you use 2x regular bar tape from another brand?

What is the inner diameter (where the end cap goes)?

@@Redshiftsports 14 or 18mm what is the precise measurement ? For the Kitchen sink handlebar?

👍
You guys skipped the hardest part
Thanks for watching Christopher! Are you referring to the brake hoods?
