Before taking (world record holder) Jen Thompsons Benchpress program, I used to use ChatGPT to set my workouts for the week. * took some time actually getting something challenging that would push my limits, yet was based on an already existing and established program. I’m 50, but absolutely love working out, and it’s definitely not for everyone. Eventually got bored of it and plateaued… Hence my move to Jens program that introduced bands for bench, etc. (Gotta keep it fresh - and careful from overtraining) I’m in the gym about 3-4hrs (but that includes cardio) …powerlifting tends to take 2hrs by itself 😊

I'm a newb at this whole weight training thing so it's pretty encouraging that my arm/shoulder routine is pretty similar to this but with less volume, and I also like to add front raises on my back only going like 45 degrees. I should try 21s too.
One of the best shoulder recovery methods I've ever tried is free hanging. Just free hang off of a pull up bar for 2-3 mins and it widens the joint over time so you get less impingement. You can look it up, Its helped a lot of people, its super simple and easy and it might even feel good for the lower back too. I finish every upper body day with some shoulder rehabs and free hanging.
